Descripción

Ralph's Club Parfum by Ralph Lauren is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent. The top notes unfold with lavender, apple, and grapefruit; the heart reveals statice, geranium, and orange blossom; while the base notes settle on vetiver, Virginia cedar, patchouli, and cashmere.

  • Good afternoon, introducing myself. Recently I discovered my olfactory memory, which leads me to recall moments and sensations. I started with whisky tastings and noticed I enjoyed the smell more than the taste of the alcohol (very bitter this one), so I began my journey of aromas and olfactory education. Proud to recognise certain scents, here I am writing my first review. With my experience using Polo Blue EdT, Polo Blue EdP, and Ralph’s Club EdP, I say this is elegant, without flashiness, with a faint memory of the previous ones but much softer and without harshness. It has body and presence ahead of Polo Blue. The opening smells clean, delicately citrusy and sweet, similar to Chanel Allure Blanche in softness. Then the geranium, statice, and neroli appear, subtle and scratch-free, like a window opened after a night rain that has moved the herbs. It is fresh, with a tiny sweet spot in the projection, nothing overwhelming even at 34 degrees. The woods and patchouli give it a savoir-vivre that the previous ones lacked. The trail is high but polite, less annoying than a Bvlgari Tygar or a Wanted by Night, but it does make you notice. It is very balanced. It lacks the projection and longevity of those others, but for 70-80 euros, I wouldn’t think twice. Like with whiskies or gin tonics, everyone has their own taste and skin. It doesn’t hit me strongly or sweetly as others say; it smells clean and subtle, nothing like bathroom cleaner or talc-heavy iris. It is a middle ground, fresh and less sweet. The woods don’t reach Wonderwood, but for the price, it is a bargain. Do not trust my subjective opinion, try it on your skin. It is like meeting someone who sounds familiar but not from this life: a great evening. It must be the chemistry that blinds me.

  • Unfortunately, it failed in my opinion here. Weak aroma, minimal projection, and poor durability. The notes are not perceptible except for the cardamomo, lavender, and very faintly the mandarin. It starts strong for the first 4-6 minutes with a very synthetic sweetness, then decays abruptly and becomes a linear and boring aroma, with no evolution. Only when pressing your nose against the skin during the dry-down do you notice a slight earthy touch. It is a generic aroma that smells like shower gel but with very poor performance given its high current cost. I do not recommend it.

  • @javiromanok If you have had it for almost a year, you cannot have this; you should have the Club and not the Parfum, as this was only recently launched.

  • @Christoph This perfume does not contain cardamomo. Let’s be serious when making a review and don’t deceive people.

I just bought it and it is spectacular. Although we don’t have the Eau de Parfum release, here it remains long-lasting and I love it. This PARFUM takes it a step further: it is wonderful and I can’t stop smelling myself. I liked the initial pure Eau de Parfum more, with that explosion of lavender, but it didn’t last at all and the projection dropped quickly. This PARFUM is something else: it respects the DNA, adds more masculinity, longevity, and maturity. I love everything about it except the price. The bottle is practically the same, but the lower half is a dark satin black (at first I thought it was black rubber), but in backlight you can see it is fabric, which gives it more character. Come on, what a Perfumonnn!

  • @X_bmstyle True, it is the other one (I bought it in December 2021). I will move my comment to the other post. Thanks.

I like it very much; it smells like a gentleman, kind, and seductive. I imagine the typical classic Italian man. It is an aroma I enjoy quite a bit, although unfortunately it doesn’t last too long.

  • @Titoripo Perhaps the cardamomo isn’t noticeable, but it is in the official notes that Ralph Lauren lists on their promotional poster.

  • Ralph’s Club Parfum by Ralph Lauren opens fresh with grapefruit, soft lavender, and a fruity apple note. The lavender provides cleanliness, and together with the neroli, makes it more usable and, in my opinion, superior to Dior’s Sauvage. It then turns warm and spicy with vetiver, patchouli, and cedar. I recommend it for the office: it causes no controversy and will be liked by 99% of people. Its trail and projection are moderate, as is the longevity. The only flaw is that it smells good but offers nothing new for experts. Age 15+, 100% masculine, all year round, and for work. Final score 7.65/10.

  • Very elegant and youthful, reminiscent of YSL’s Y but with less fruit and sweetness. As it dries, the woods (patchouli, vetiver, cashmere, and cedar) take over, while the apple and lavender provide freshness with touches of aromatic sage. It has a floral and citrus halo that makes it pleasant and evolving, starting off nocturnal but versatile for daytime with a suit and tie, then relaxing into informal settings. The bottle is beautiful and its longevity is potent for hours.

I rarely review perfumes I don’t own, but this is the exception. I tried it a week ago in front of a perfumerie; the EDP I sampled two months ago didn’t impress me due to its projection and longevity. Now, with the Parfum version, it’s nothing like what I expected. The longevity is beastly on my skin, lasting around 16 hours without issue. It’s been on my jacket sleeve for six days and still looks spectacular. The projection is incredible; at five hours, people a metre away were asking what I was wearing. I see it as suitable for daily use, given the clean sensation and comfort on hot days. Excellent; it convinced me to make it my next purchase.

  • Ralph’s Club Parfum is fresh, aromatic, and woody. The opening is a pleasant fresh and fruity burst, before becoming more aromatic. The floral accords of lavender, geranium, and other flowers drive the scent. I detect a spicy, semi-toasted, and sweet touch, like tonka bean or cinnamon, although these aren’t listed in the notes. It’s versatile, suitable for any season or occasion, pleasant, masculine, and easy to like, typical of ‘blue’ fragrances. Longevity is average, lasting a day of about eight hours, with regular to low projection. In summary, it’s pleasant and an alternative to Sauvage EDP, Y Le Parfum, or Coach for Men, though I always advise testing first on the skin.

It’s an exquisite fragrance, a pity it lasts absolutely nothing on me. For the price, there are Armaf or Bentley perfumes that cost half as much and last twice as long or more.

  • Jefferson

I already own it and agree with jimblue: it’s very similar to YSL Y. I’m not saying it’s identical, but it follows that line. Y is one of my favourites; I understand the grapefruit makes it different, yet it still fits this elegant category. Ideal for a night out, a work meeting, dinner, or a formal occasion. 10/10.

  • I prefer the EDP; it projects better, has decent longevity, and retains its own DNA, unlike this one which is just another clone of YSL Y.

  • It’s the typical fragrance for an older man, smelling of father. As a gift for someone aged 35/40 and above, I see it well. It suits any occasion and season. It’s just another one; it doesn’t stand out in any way. I had read it was in the line of Y EDP by Yves Saint Laurent, but they bear no resemblance to each other.

  • At first, I thought it lasted nothing, then I discovered it lasts a treat and I received many compliments. But in the end, I swapped it for a Bentley For Men and a Bulgari MIB.

  • Although they claim it lasts nothing and has no projection, that’s not true. The scent causes olfactory fatigue; the more you wear it, the less you feel it, but it smells perfect to others and you’ll receive compliments. I tested it walking for two hours in winter with the wind and didn’t feel it, but upon entering my home, it was praised. It’s linear, with apple notes only noticeable at the opening. It’s one of the most masculine of the current generation, but it has nothing old-school about it. It is more elegant than Y EDP, greener and less sweet. Ideal from age 25. I recommend applying it to clothes; on cotton it lasts forever. You can overapply without bothering anyone; the only drawback is that you don’t feel it yourself. The atomiser is short and doesn’t dispense everything I want. The box has very well-defined embossed details and the bottle is lovely, elegant, similar to CH Men Privé but with better quality. The glass is fingerprint-resistant and lets you see the contents against the light. If you’re looking for something modern, masculine, elegant and that generates compliments, I recommend it. Hopefully, it won’t cause me olfactory fatigue.

  • Doesn’t it sound like half of Captain Intense by Molyneux? I prefer it and it lasts longer than Club, plus it costs five times less. Perhaps I’m mad, I don’t know, hahaha. Anyway, Club is rich. It’s a pity it doesn’t last long enough to be a Parfum and here in Uruguay it’s $200, so it’s not worth it.

  • molletmod.73

This Parfum is a real stunner, far more appealing than the previous EDP. I adore it, yet I see little originality; they haven’t reinvented the wheel. Furthermore, it lacks the longevity and performance one expects from a mid-to-high range Parfum. Whatever the perfumery theorists say, labelling something EDC, EDT, EDP or Parfum seems more of a marketing exercise than reality. It smells superb, is versatile, leans towards blue notes, feels somewhat formal, mature and charming (guaranteed compliments). Moderate longevity, little originality and a pricey tag. Best regards!

  • Better than its little sister, the EDP. It smells more robust, exquisite, and everyone likes it. It is very versatile, except in extreme temperatures, and performs well. If you have the EDP and like it, you don’t need this. If you don’t have either, this is your option. Rating: 8.8/10.

  • El pseudo perfumista

The ultimate all-rounder: fresh, sweet and woody. Perhaps due to the price, the longevity and projection aren’t the best, but the composition and scent are of high quality and refined.

  • Short and honest review: It lasts nothing, smells like a very diluted version of the EDP. It causes olfactory fatigue at first. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • Aroma similar to the EDP but more refined. Trying both, the Parfum lasts very little; after half an hour it’s almost non-existent. The EDP isn’t a beast either, but it lasts about eight hours and is more noticeable. I’m sticking with the EDP.

  • At first, I thought it smelled of seaweed, something green and salty, although it doesn’t have those notes. Once it dries down, the green apple and sweetness emerge. The longevity is disappointing: it projects for an hour, then only smells of skin for three hours. Perhaps it’s olfactory fatigue. The box is pretty. Scent: 6/10, longevity: 4/10, price: 8/10. Overall disappointing; I expected more.

  • Alejandro Nunes

The scent is okay, but it doesn’t stand out at all. The longevity is poor and it projects nothing. At least it was a gift.

  • claudio_ragni

Excellent aroma, suits me well and lasts over six hours wherever you apply it. It wears better than the EDP.

  • naso_en_ciernes

This isn’t a guide; it’s my unfiltered opinion. It smells boring and generic to me, like something from a chemist’s, and the longevity is poor. I wouldn’t recommend it. In contrast, Ralph’s Club Elixir is on another level; it smells distinct and is an absolute hit.

  • What a great vibe! Smells different and fresh at first, but the real winner is how it sits on the skin. It lacks a bit of projection, but it is exquisite. I recommend it far more than the Elixir, which smells like a car workshop.

  • Minimalistsmell

Clean, masculine and simple, yet it has all the positive qualities you could expect from that style.

  • RicardoPowa123

The Ralph Club line (EDP and Parfum) are the cleanest and most versatile of the entire Polo collection. Nobody could be bothered by these scents.

  • campeones22

The bottle is beautiful, the perfume… hmm, between being somewhat generic it brought me memories of the YSL Y discounted, some of Invictus and nothing more. It is not a fragrance for formal wear by any means; it is a fresh and elegant perfume for an afternoon outing.

  • RicardoPowa1234

If I had to define the word versatility, it would be with Ralph Club Parfum. I have nothing more to say, gentlemen. (Sauvage is also an excellent option, but the pepper makes some people feel sick).

  • Ricardo-powa

This perfume is the same as Nuit de l’Homme, but with a blue touch, so you might feel it a bit more masculine. The same applies to the EDP version. Surprise! The same perfumer did it.

  • For me, it was an experience like this: the opening is an acidic and sweet grapefruit, juicy and refreshing, with a background of crisp apple and that aura of soft lavender which does not smell synthetic to me. In the dry down it is floral: I sense the geranium sparingly but it is there, the statice predominates, and then comes the neroli, soft. The synergy between the statice and that geranium creates a floral accord that reminds me of a spring morning opening the window and feeling that herbal and floral morning aroma. The base is what gives it character: the vetiver gives an earthy sensation, but by harmonising with the cedar it gives a masculine, robust, and woody character, like when a carpenter delivers a freshly made cedar piece of furniture without varnish. The patchouli adds a balsamic and aromatic touch, almost camphorated, with that refreshing background sensation, and the cashmere is light, almost imperceptible, adding sophistication and elegance. I have read that it does not last or have good projection for being a Parfum, but I do not know what type of skin they have. Today I put it on at six in the morning and when writing this it still smells close to the skin, although in its first hours it had good projection. I hope my experience describes the fragrance, in the end every skin and pH is different.

  • Jp_Delafuente

One of the most versatile after the Y EDT. It invents or risks nothing; it is a fresh and woody scent, with lavender very present, feeling very clean. In terms of projection and longevity, it seems more like an EDP than a Parfum. I see it as a scent for everyday use, not for special occasions, but something to wear after a shower.

  • DavidLópez

Ralph’s Club Parfum is a modern, polished, and easy-to-please fragrance that performs well if you want something elegant and risk-free. Ideal for a smart evening look, but do not expect much surprise or distinctive personality.

  • Rick Azafranado

A decent, fulfilling fragrance but nothing more. It offers nothing risky. It is rich, woody, and classic, a Nineties style with a touch of green apple. But I repeat: with perfumes costing over a hundred dollars, be surprised! That is why Arab or less overrated designer perfumes are crushing these branded ones that are far too expensive and overpriced. Here you pay for the brand and for showing off that you have a Ralph Lauren in your pro collection, but the scent offers nothing you haven’t heard before.

  • Delicious scent but very weak; lasts a maximum of two hours. Besides, it smells identical to the Eau de Parfum without being more potent, so owning both is redundant.
