Vespa for Her by Vespa is a fruity-floral-gourmand fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, Vespa for Her was created by perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu. One Sunday afternoon, with the streets of the centre deserted, I spotted an open perfumerie and went in to kill time. I tried several and came across a small 30ml bottle for 3 euros. As I needed something small for my bag, I picked it up on impulse. My surprise when I got home was enormous: upon spraying, a delicious aroma I didn’t expect. It has an ideal balance between fruity notes, sweet-gourmand elements, and a light floral touch, with a spicy or spiced hint (I suppose ginger) and lots of apple and citrus. I love finding rich perfumes where least expected. The only flaw is that it lasts very little, about two or three hours before it fades; but as it’s cheap, it can be reapplied. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I was gifted this; it doesn’t last long and isn’t very strong… You have to reapply it quite a bit for it to be noticeable. It’s more efficient to squeeze lemon juice on yourself than to use this.
I have owned this and used it extensively a few years ago. It smells sweet and floral, very pretty and fun, perfect for spring and summer, especially in the morning and afternoon. Very feminine. The longevity is acceptable. It suits well from a young girl to an older woman, provided they are cheerful.
