Another scam from Procter & Gamble, the multinational that makes mass-market perfumes with designer names who know nothing about perfumery, like Dolce & Gabbana. They release dubious quality at outrageous prices. Here they had the audacity to launch the same perfume as the regular version, but with a metal bottle and a higher price. Why bother? If it’s for fans and collectors, let them know what and how much… Nothing, a joke. The perfume is the same, no more no less. Very synthetic yet wearable, spiced aroma with a light, pleasant tobacco note. Longevity is moderate, but the trail is ridiculous. If you’re a fan of The One and like collecting bottles, 100% recommended!
Not a scam, but a Fragrantica error for listing it separately; in stores they already explain: it’s not a new fragrance, just another bottle for collectors.
A masterpiece by Olivier Polge (nothing to add). I thought it would fail given the reviews, but it has taken me by surprise. Sublime scent, designed to captivate in the close-up. Total beauty; it has truly earned its place as a classic in perfumery.
