The Eau de Parfum version of K is good and economical. It stands out for its aroma, but it’s not for extreme heat; better for spring or summer evenings, as it’s very sweet for a summer day but not for winter or autumn. It starts with a zesty citrus breeze, moves to a juicy fruity accord of fig, and finishes with spicy woods. Lasts 5-6 hours on the skin with medium projection.
Citrus opening with a sweet and creamy touch… very rich. The longevity and projection performance seem just about right, but the original scent is excellent.
Sober and creamy aroma, fresh and perfect for everyday wear, although I wouldn’t use it in much heat. It reminds me a lot of Kenzo EDT Intense thanks to that fig note, which, for me, is exquisite.
This perfume speaks for itself: it’s the first one I bought with my own money and I don’t think there was a better option. I love its sweet and spicy opening that evolves into woods. It’s versatile for everything: school, work, dates, parties, heat, or cold. I recommend it blindly; it was love at first sight. Decent performance: with a single spray it projects for 2-3 hours and lasts 6-7 on the skin. If it runs out, I’ll buy it again without a doubt.
I’ve had it for exactly a month, used it quite a bit, and I’m very satisfied. Original aroma with that creamy fig and a blood orange citrus opening that gives it a peculiar and addictive touch. This creamy and citrusy blend lasts for the first 30 minutes projecting spectacularly; then in the dry down, the creamy facet with woody notes remains. These changes make it versatile, but I notice it’s nocturnal and suited for temperate climates. On a date, I think you step into a different angle, as that peculiar scent I don’t recall from another perfume; it has some resemblance to Kenzo Homme EDP but little more, because there the fig is citrusy or refreshing, not creamy as here. It’s not very sweet but has its touches. Moderate longevity but still surprising; with my pH it lasts about 7 hours indoors, outdoors it may last less. It projects strongly for the first hour and a half, then fades giving moderate bursts. In summary, it’s a very good perfume, very underrated.
Does anyone else smell sweat in this fragrance? I tried it on the wrist on offer, and although it’s 200ml, using it gives me that sensation. It happens with this one and the classic Male from the 146 perfumes I own.
Good fragrance, a distinct scent I haven’t heard before (neither in the EDT nor INTENSE versions). It’s the blue I check first when I don’t know what to wear. Sweet but not cloying, and I think it needs more spray for the evening. It’s perfect for everything except formal events; in winter, it suffers from not being sweet or overwhelming enough, being fresher instead. Summer is its best season, just like spring. Like Le Beau Le Parfum, they are good for going out partying in summer. It’s not for extreme heat or the beach, but between 23 and 26 degrees you won’t feel suffocated (if it’s hotter, look for another option). For the beach, from 5pm onwards as the sun goes down, it’s the best time. Fresh and delicious sensation with that fig note standing out, plus I sense black pepper and blood orange. Regarding price, it’s worth it. Scent: 8/10 (has a different twist than other blues). Longevity: 7/10 (6-7 hours). Projection: 6.5/10 (noticeable with more than 8 sprays). Compliments: 7.5/10 (I’ve received them, more at night than during the day, and in summer).
It’s one of my best bets if you’re looking to stand out with a masculine and sexy scent; apart from its good projection, everyone loves it. I’d describe it as fruity and floral, but it leans more towards a clean scent than a tropical one, which is why many women adore it. Thanks to that clean sensation, it reminds me of the aroma of a sports shower gel, but without the synthetic feel, giving it a more elegant character. Moreover, that blend makes me perceive an aquatic accord similar to Davidoff’s Cool Water, although it’s not outdated; in fact, it’s quite youthful. I use it and recommend it in spring, due to its fruity/floral character that evokes that season; it also goes great in summer because it’s fresh and doesn’t suffocate in extreme heat, unless overapplied (12-15 sprays). It can extend into autumn because it’s not citrusy and doesn’t go unnoticed in the cold. It’s versatile: it works for everyday life due to its easy-going aroma and for elegant settings like business dinners or events such as weddings or birthdays. Additionally, thanks to its seductive character, it never fails on a date. Personally, I recommend buying it if you don’t have many fragrances; if you already have a similar one, skip the purchase or swap it for this, depending on which you like more.
I’m not sure if my batch came out perfectly, but I will tell you this: I measure my perfume longevity thanks to my motorcycle. How? I visit my partner almost daily; I apply the perfume at home, and after 5-10 km at good speed on the bike, only 3 or 4 fragrances from my entire collection still smell despite the wind gusts at 70-90 km/h. This Dolce & Gabbana K EDP is one of them. Upon arrival, fighting against the wind, it’s one of the few, alongside 9PM, Kenzo Homme EDP, and CDN Intense, that persists on the skin. If the scent doesn’t convince you, at least take this comment so you buy it for the longevity.
Thanks to this perfume, I started my journey into the world of scents. My cousin and I visited a shop to try new things, and this one on the paper scent strip absolutely drove me wild. It’s woody, aromatic, crisp, slightly sweet, and has a touch of earthiness. Over the years, I’ve tried more and discovered that blue fragrances are my favourites, but this was a controversial and disappointing experience compared to others, as it showed me there are more exquisite and refined options like YSL EDP, ADG Profundo, or Sauvage EDT. I have a huge soft spot for it, but to be honest, you have to enjoy something different to buy something like this; it takes its own path as a blue scent, distinct from the others mentioned. Overall, I’d give it an 8 out of 10: it’s a rich aroma that many people love (I’ve received several compliments), although I feel the price is a bit high given my concerns about projection. If you enjoy personal bubble scents, it’s an excellent choice. Lasts around 6 to 8 hours maximum.
It’s different but I found it meh. I tried it looking for something woody with a blue touch, but not a typical aquatic. It delivers a fresh and rich opening, somewhat citrusy; I think it’s the chilli and berries that make it different and rich. My issue was the dry-down: basically very light fig with very prominent lavender. It became meh because it lost its initial freshness and turned a bit sweet and powdery (floral). Overall, I find it clean; I don’t think it’s for very hot days but it has the essence to be liked. I believe you should try before buying; D&G has a rich and original line that I adore, this one just isn’t for me.
The K EDP didn’t suit me at first; even the fig made me feel a bit dizzy, but over time I understood it and now I like it quite a bit. It’s masculine, intriguing, suitable for daily wear, and full of personality. Longevity and projection are moderate, neither very good nor very bad. Now it’s rich, serves as a signature scent, lasts longer than the EDT, projects more, and has a mysterious smell. Personally, I lean towards the K EDP Intense for that subtle leather note. Should I recommend it? Absolutely, if you’re looking for a masculine, mysterious, and coquettish fragrance, it’s yours.
I bought it blindly thinking it was fresh, but it’s a bit heavier than I expected. Gradually, I started to like it; it’s unique due to its notes, smells different from everything, and people have given me several compliments. I use it for work and it lasts 8 hours comfortably, with good trail and projection (9 sprays on skin plus 2 or 3 on clothes). I recommend it for any time of year.
In my opinion, very undervalued; it performs brilliantly for its type of scent, smells different and is very well-liked. It serves for everything, looks great. Smells super pleasant, not invasive but noticeable: fresh, fruity, with a dark yet clean touch, very original. Both the EDT and EDP are fantastic; they’re similar, but I stick with this one because I see it as more usable in mild and fresh climates, while the EDT is better for informal/casual summer wear.
It starts with a citrus that tickles the nose nicely. After 10 minutes, it settles up close and becomes hard to perceive. Then it smells like fig with marine notes, although perhaps that’s just me. Sadly, because it’s a very good and original scent, it projects very little once dried. It’s not worth the price due to the lack of projection, and the longevity isn’t great either.
🌙 Gloomy, 🧼 soapy, and 🌶️ spicy. Interesting but capricious. Not a blind buy: at first, you might be intrigued by the unusual base, but over time you’ll adore it. I bought it blindly due to female approval. Upon opening, the first trail confused me: how does it smell so boozy and yet be liked? I lay down to assimilate it, but I’d already soaked my shirt, so I left it and put on another. Upon returning, my room smelled of a clean marsh with shaving foam and lots of ice. Dark, enigmatic, and fresh. You’ll receive compliments; some call it sexy. Moderate longevity on skin, very good on clothes. The price is accessible. It’s for an introverted but interesting personality, with a halo of mystery. Scents are subjective; it might convey different things depending on your experiences, but if you have the chance, try it: test a sample from the shopping centre and draw your own conclusions.
A blue with personality. Upon spraying, it smells like a cocktail that evolves quickly, leaving a clean and herbal sensation. It doesn’t bother anyone: fresh but different. Up close, you note earthiness, like petrichor with pepper, combined with that soapy gel shower scent; very interesting.
Delicious! Distinctive aroma with plenty of personality. Although designed to be appealing, its notes make it unique compared to other blue fragrances. It opens with a very prominent fig that later turns spicy and aromatic, while the citrus notes integrate beautifully. Lavanda cleans up the base, making it super versatile. Works in almost any weather, except intense cold. I feel it’s undervalued; it’s one of the best options for summer or mild climates. It doesn’t disappoint in longevity (around 7 hours on skin) nor projection (noticeable for the first 3 hours). My next guaranteed purchase for the heat. I recommend it if you’re looking for something different, although it’s more for younger people; if you don’t like youthful scents, it might not be for you.
Velvety and delicious aroma.
Oh, K. The letter of kings, as the bottle stated. With that tacky little crown on the cap, looking as if it were stolen from a Neapolitan mobster’s wedding cake. A cologne that enters promising kingdoms, conquests, and Mediterranean sex appeal… only to end smelling like an influencer wearing sockless loafers in January. From the first spray, K delivers a citrus kick of lemon and blood orange with the enthusiasm of a new waiter at a franchise pizza place. Pleasant, yes. But more generic than Christmas in-law jokes. Then comes an attempt at virility with lavender, sage, and a touch of pepper—as if putting on a leather jacket to look dangerous but not knowing how to ride a motorcycle. And the base? Woods, vetiver, just a hint of cedar, enough so you don’t say ‘this smells like nothing’. But let’s be serious: everyone smells like this. Because K isn’t a king; he’s a festival councillor dressed in Zara. He fulfils, but doesn’t move you. Lasts just enough, projects just enough, seduces those without a sense of smell. And yet—here comes the human part, the trap of taste—damn it, it has something charming. Because sometimes you don’t want to think of Tibetan monastery incense notes or camel macerated oud in tears. Sometimes you just want to go out, smell good without complications, and not have to explain yourself. And K does that. He’s that type who doesn’t turn you off even though you know he lacks depth, because he makes life easier. A king? No. Not even noble. K is more like a charming duke with a good tan, playing football with the neighbourhood kids and combing his hair with gel. He leaves no mark… but he also does no harm.
Definitely smells like the marine side of Kenzo mixed with the cardamom from La Nuit de L’Homme. Totally worth it: it’s easy to like but breaks away from the conventional to stand out. If you love Savage EDT/EDP, Kenzo, or Allure Superleggera, this fragrance will enchant you.
How curious! Reminds me of Mugler perfumes blended with Dior Sauvage. An aromatic and fresh accord wrapping citrus, fruity, and woody notes, highlighting geranium, patchouli, and vetiver. The letter ‘G’ is for masons, the ‘K’ for kings, though for me it stands up to Kenzo because, over time, it becomes heavier rather than fresh—the exact opposite of Le Male. Perfect for work, shopping, or dating, lasting around seven hours. It’s good, but I need a crown a little less Playmobil. 6.5/10.
I expected more from this fragrance; it didn’t dislike it, but the scent feels very generic. Honestly, based on the reviews and comments I’d heard, I thought I’d love it, but that’s not the case. It’s too fresh, ideal for heat, the office, and daytime; it projects well for a while but isn’t one of those aromas that captivates or enchants (at least in my case). I like the opening, but the heart and base notes don’t quite work for me (perhaps due to the fig). It’s not a scent you’d dislike or can’t tolerate, but I feel there are better options in this blue fragrance category. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again to give it a second chance.
I absolutely love this fragrance. In my city, it’s often very hot, and it’s excellent for everyday wear; I’ve received many compliments.
A perfume that has surprised me greatly. I believe it is one of the fragrances I like most among the many I own and have bought recently. It has the scent I’m looking for and I love it. It has an appropriate touch of depth without becoming heavy. I can’t quite define it, but I adore it. I need to keep testing to see if it was just a first impression. For now, the best and most surprising aspect is positive.
Absolutely delicious fragrance; I’m surprised by such a low rating. It’s a blend of pepper, fig, and soap. Sounds odd, but smells very pleasant—slightly sweet yet soapy with that peppery kick. I bought the 200ml for $55; honestly, it’s perfect. Even cheaper than some Arabic scents with incredible quality. I’d recommend it 100% if you like fig notes (if you’re unsure what fig smells like, imagine fruit juice mixed with a very faint grassy undertone).
Despite everything, it has made its way onto my favourites list. It’s sweet without being cloying and very fresh. The fig note is very prominent; although it’s not a compliment bomb, I guarantee more than one person will ask what you’re wearing. The opening is vibrant, fresh, and even balsamic. The 200 ml version is worth it, perfect for the heat of summer.
Rich, sweet-citrus aroma that feels very clean. The stars are fig and lavender, present throughout. It’s very soft; you can get away with 20 sprays without feeling dizzy, making it ideal for the office without annoying anyone. That said, this softness could be a drawback if you’re looking to stand out; any other more intense perfume would easily overpower it. It lasts 4-5 hours with poor projection, then sits close to the skin with little sillage. In short: fresh, clean, and to everyone’s taste, but it doesn’t stand out or carry beyond two metres. Ideal for enclosed spaces in spring/summer, but you’ll need to reapply to last all day.
It resembles the EDT much too closely, which doesn’t last at all. It’s woody and not sweet as claimed. Perhaps the EDP Intense or Parfum would be better… although reviewers insist this is the best. If I see good performance, it would be surprising for a Dolce & Gabbana fragrance that isn’t known for longevity.
This perfume is a total hit: sweet and citrusy, perfect for any occasion, especially dates, nights out with friends, or going clubbing. Although I haven’t tried the EDT (which they say is better for daily wear), this fragrance does the job perfectly.
The first impression was good, fresh and light for an EDP. When dry, it loses a bit of freshness but remains fruity and herbal. I find it synthetic and generic, not my type of scent; it reminds me of Only the Brave by Diesel. Lasts about four hours on skin. If someone gifted it to me, I’d use it, but I wouldn’t buy it myself.
I have both the EDP and the EDT and use them together. They are exquisite, women love them, and this way it lasts longer.
Everyone knows the archetype of ‘blue fragrances’: clean and fresh for anything. In these times of burnt and spicy scents, D&G Light Blue EDP smells as expected: fresh from citrus, clean from cedar and flowers, with a spicy touch of cardamom and chilli. All mixed into a creamy, sweet smell from the fig, making it unique against other ‘blues’ that smell like incense, synthetic marine, or cleaner. The fig makes it youthful and creamy. Test on skin to see if it suits you. Conclusion: Excellent. The K line is undervalued while other D&G lines are overvalued.
Quick review: it smells rich, but honestly, I can’t see an occasion for daily use. Might give a headache. Just for an outing in a suit.
I prefer the EDT as it’s more versatile. This is a brilliant perfume: it lasts, projects, and is liked. It has a serious character, made for dates or meetings. Lasts 5-6 hours, all day on clothes. Don’t buy blind without trying it first.
This scent blends citrus, fruity, aromatic, and woody notes. The opening from D&G is unique: a sharp, acidic orange, followed by green juniper and a cayenne-like spice for 20 minutes. After that, sweet and green notes with fig, lavender, and geranium last for 3-4 hours. The base of cedar, patchouli, and vetiver is earthy and dry, lasting 4-5 hours. It’s a ‘blue’ with character, like an ancient forest with fruit trees. Masculine, suitable for any occasion except extreme cold. Smells like a well-dressed man. Good purchase, a pleasant surprise. Perfect for evening gym sessions. Scent: 7/10, Sillage: 7/10, Versatility: 8.5/10, Price: 6.5/10.
I bought it blind and loved it, although my girlfriend doesn’t like it. It smells better on skin than on paper. Smells of fig, geranium, and berries; when dry, it’s a creamy, woody ‘blue’. Sweet at first, very woody afterwards but still fresh. Ideal if you like a mature ‘blue’ and don’t mind the fig. The best of the three for me. EDP. Lasts 6-8 hours with good projection. Scent: 9/10 if you like fig.
Smells rich and lovely. I sometimes wear it to work; it’s neither casual nor elegant, just right in between. Lasts about six or seven hours on skin. Recommended.
It delivers more than enough. Lasts six hours, projects well, and people ask for the name. The fig note makes it similar to Kenzo to my nose. Ideal for spring and summer.
My usual fragrance, unique and far from mass-produced. It’s super sweet and spicy; it doesn’t work for me in summer heat, better suited for an evening. The rest of the year, it’s a perfect signature scent.
