  • K by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense is an aromatic, woody and leathery fragrance. The opening is slightly fresh and aromatic; the DNA of the line is evident with its fruity fig note, juniper berry elements and spices like pepper already present in the EDT and EDP versions, now adding saffron. The main difference with this new version is that the sweetness of previous ones has been reduced and a leather accord has been added, making it less bright, more opaque and mature, but it still retains a clean style. The leather appears almost from the start but gains presence over time, giving it a more formal and mature touch, a bit like what Montblanc did with Legend in its EDP (note, I’m not saying they’re similar, but that’s the impression I get). Despite the spices and leather, I still feel this fragrance is suitable for all four seasons, although there are better options in summer; the truth is I feel it’s less versatile, or at least for me, as I perceive it as more formal, ideal for an office environment, a management position, etc. Its longevity is good, between 7 and 8 hours, although the sillage is lower in this EDP Intense version because the leather accord has more presence than other components that facilitate greater projection. I found the K line indifferent with its EDT and EDP versions, however this EDP Intense has managed to catch my attention, and personally it is the one I’ve liked the most. I haven’t decided yet whether to buy it, but I’ll test it again to see if I confirm what I’ve liked so far.

  • K by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense is an aromatic, woody and leathery fragrance. The opening is slightly fresh and aromatic; you can detect the DNA of the line with that fig fruit note, mixed with juniper berries, pepper, and now saffron. The big novelty is that they’ve toned down the sweetness compared to previous versions and added leather, making it less bright, more opaque and mature, yet it remains clean. The leather comes through almost immediately and gains strength over time, giving it a more formal and serious vibe, a bit like what Montblanc did with Legend in its EDP (I’m not saying they’re identical, but that’s the impression). Despite the spices and leather, I still think it’s a year-round scent, although there are better options in summer; to me, it feels less versatile, more suited for the office or executive roles. Longevity is good, around 7 to 8 hours, but the sillage is weaker because the leather dominates and reduces projection of other notes. I was indifferent to the K line with the EDT and EDP, but this EDP Intense has caught my attention; personally, it’s my favourite. I haven’t decided yet whether to buy it, but I’ll test it again to confirm my feelings.

Tested with two sprays on skin and dry down. I’ll be brief: very rich scent, similar to the EDP but with more brightness and will please most. I would like to continue testing both to decide, because although I feel them the same, one has a freshness that makes it tastier.

  • ArmandoPerfumo

I’ve had it for a month, I like the EDP but this is better. Longevity is equal, but darker without overdoing it. Opening with rich, spicy saffron, then the rich fig from the EDP comes out, fusing with the leather, tightening the note. It’s not for going crazy, but the quality of ingredients and scent are good. Recommended if you liked the EDP.

  • A lady sprayed me on the arm outside the store and we coincided in the darkness of this new K. It’s sweeter: a mix of citrus and sweet, fleshy fig, pure jam point. The darkness comes from the leather, which I discovered later, seeming like nuts or wood. Really good, with similarities to K EDP but sweeter. Amidst all the capital hustle, I lost its scent after a while, I will return for a new impulse.

  • The best in the K line. Woody and fruity, fig and a soft, easy-to-wear leather stand out. Very masculine but classy, conveys elegance and seriousness. It reminds me of Kenzo EDP Intense, but the D&G seems more elegant and of better quality. The Kenzo is more potent in longevity and projection, but I would stick with the D&G, a very good work.

  • Tomorrowsdust

After a month with it, I have my conclusions: it’s the best of the K line for its masculinity and mystery. What makes it special is removing the bell pepper (which I can’t stand) and adding a sensual leather that gives it more darkness. 95% of the women and people who’ve said something to me have been positive, and that’s what matters most. Longevity is normal for a designer fragrance, around 6 hours, so apply generously. Projection is short, ideal for dates because it invites closeness without being annoying, and it also works well in the office: it doesn’t smell from miles away but when you get close. Ideally, wear it with an open shirt, semi-formal, and only in winter, spring or autumn; above 23 degrees you’ll feel stifled. If you’re looking for something from the K line for heat, the EDT is better, because the EDP feels just as heavy as the Intense in summer. In summary, it’s a great fragrance that has arrived in a world that doesn’t appreciate it. Perhaps it projects less than its K line siblings, but in my opinion the scent is much better achieved.

  • Tomorrowsdust

After wearing it for over a month, I give my final impressions. With its depth and mystery, it is the best accord in the K line. The key is to eliminate the bell pepper (which I can’t stand) and put a sensual, fine leather to give weight and darkness. Comments are 95% positive, that makes it all worth it. Designer performance, about 6 hours, be generous when applying. Short-distance projection, ideal for dates without being annoying, and correct for the office: not bothersome but draws attention when you get close. Ideal outfit: open shirt, semi-formal. Only for winter, spring and autumn (do not use above 23 degrees, you get stifled). For heat, the EDT is better, the EDP is equally stifling. In summary, brilliant, it reached a world that doesn’t value it. Perhaps it projects less than its siblings, but the scent is better crafted.

  • I love it, it’s my favourite in the King line. Masculine, mysterious, clean and long-lasting. As a signature it works, lasts a long time, imprints on clothes and projects just enough. It reminds me of freshly cut wood with its own touch. It’s for daily use, winter or summer (be careful with extreme heat), not for shorts or sleeveless tops. I recommend it with jeans and a plain t-shirt, then combine as you wish. It has leather, but not the typical Chloe kind, it’s subtle, more like wood than a jacket. The leather is for serious or older personalities, but it also fits youth.

  • K Intense: the fig is softer, less than in Ferrari or Fico di Amalfi, wrapped in leather that rounds off and completes the line. The flankers usually perfect or worsen, this takes it to the next level. It brings freshness, elegance, and intriguing depth. If you don’t have any of the K line, I would lean towards this. Clean, interesting fragrance with magnetism. Fulfilling forever. Scent: 10. Projection: about 2 hours. Longevity: 7 hours. Recommended.

The decants were cheaper than previous ones, so I jumped in. I was looking for my D&G go-to fragrance. This isn’t that, but I am satisfied. The spiced creamy fig is a new experience; nothing smells of coconut, thanks to the saffron which is a bomb and doesn’t appear well in the pyramid. The citrus opening with a pink grapefruit aftertaste is my favourite. After half an hour, the saffron dominates, creating a bright oriental fruit. The leather is the base, but I don’t find it notable, more damp than deep. Original, it breaks with the ‘blue’ perfumes that disgust me. It’s a bit tiring, but I sniff my wrist for that dead-beat taste, although the saffron closes my nose. It’s not for me, I’m a chef and I don’t want to smell like spices. But it smells delicious, lasting moderately with moderate projection for over 6 hours until skin scent; the fig persists even after a shower. Of my decants, it projects the most, being overwhelming in the first hour and a half, especially in heat. It’s scandalous, perhaps its less potent siblings please me more, but I find myself wanting to smell more of the line. If someone wears it out on the street, I compliment them and ask what the hell they are wearing. For anyone wanting to stand out with heart notes, it’s a 10/10. Not so much for me, but I recognise it’s a great fragrance. 7/10 solid. Great artistic value.

  • “K” by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense: The fig here is very soft, accompanied and framed by a leather that rounds off and completes the entire K line. As sometimes happens with flankers, this one doesn’t just improve; it takes the work to the next level. I agree with those who commented before: it adds freshness, elegance and an intriguing depth, though it’s not dark. I’ve loved it, and if you don’t own anything from the K line yet, I’d lean towards this. It’s clean, interesting and full of character. Overall, it’s a fragrance that always delivers. Scent: 10. Projection: about 2 hours. Longevity: 7 hours. Recommended.

  • Carcanuelo

A step up from its siblings: creamy fig and fine leather. The opening is tacky and clubby, then it settles with the leather, but the fruity aspect makes it feel more like a pick-up scent than a mature man’s signature. Typical of current designer perfumes, lacking creativity. If you like it, buy it, but it’s not for me. I tried it in a 2ml decant, which was sufficient.

The leather note is pure nonsense; it smells identical to Kenzo EDP, they are the same fragrance.

  • Avalon1224

A very fruity fragrance, in this K version balanced with the touch of leather and woods. In my opinion it is the best of the K collection, although it is not my personal hit.

  • Hello! Longevity of 8 hours in my case. Projection for 1 hour, not too potent. Medium trail. Notes: on spray you notice orange and lemon for 30 minutes, then the creamy fig with a powdery saffron base, afterwards soft leather and some sandalwood. I enjoy it a lot, it is a delightful olfactory experience. It is elegant, not for something brash, but for personal enjoyment. Important: it is not for casual clothes, but for grey, black, navy or olive green dress trousers, nothing printed, all plain. Recommended age 25-30 years.

  • The best fragrance in my collection, unique, sexy and special. The orange opening, then the fig with saffron and a subtle leather… simply brutal. I like it so much that since I bought it I have been looking for something similar, perhaps a bit more informal or summery, but not necessarily. If anyone knows something, write to me.

  • It’s the jewel of my collection: unique, sexy and special. It starts with orange, moves through fig with saffron and closes with a subtle leather. Brutal. I love it so much that since I bought it I’ve been looking for something similar, perhaps more informal or summery, but it’s not necessary. If anyone knows something, let me know.

  • KathrinKohler

A beautifully crafted fragrance with a soft balance between freshness and warmth. It opens with light and stimulating notes, follows with an elegant heart, and finishes with a rich and comforting base. It is long-lasting but never overwhelming, perfect for daily use and special occasions. A timeless aroma that leaves a distinguished impression.

  • Total fiasco. In the shop I chose Devotion and when I got home I saw I had this K Eau d Parfum Intense. Smelling it reminded me a lot of Issey Miyake’s Fusion Extreme: something sweet but with nothing concrete to catch attention, very linear and generic.

  • Subtle fragrance at first but intense when applied. Very good longevity and lasts days on clothes. It has a little bit of sweetness but very wearable, nothing heavy. Valid for day and night, although better during the day, with a very Mediterranean and positive vibe. It had little hype without knowing why. It is the best of the 4 Ks and highly recommended.

  • Dolce Gabbana K EDP Intense: at first it smells of powerful wood with light leather and fig, but after 20 minutes the EDP enters: a creamy fig with a coconut milk vibe, fresh but sweet, lowering the wood and leather. It is 70% creamy coconut and 30% wood. Ideal for day, night, dates, or elegant events, perfect under 30 degrees, although in more heat it feels heavy. Simple silver box (7/10), good atomiser (9/10), minimalist bottle with crown cap (9.5/10) and a very fair price of 50-65 dollars (9.2/10). Projection bomb for 2 hours (9.2/10) and subtle trail equally (9/10). Longevity of 8 hours with 10 sprays (8.7/10). It delivers a lot, everyone likes it (9.5/10). Final rating 8.9. If you are looking for versatility, it is perfect; outside of performance, it would be a 10.

  • Don’t let the star reviewer fool you; this is a delight. Searching for men’s fig perfumes, I compared this with Paradise Garden, and the difference in quality is enormous. While PG smells of popcorn, typical of the Le Beau line, with an artificial tonka bean that masks everything, K maintains a perfect balance between saffron, fig and woods, with a subtle leather. K is mature and well-made; PG is loud and has already been mass-produced by clones. I have fig trees and a monochromatic fig perfume, and they share a lot of similarity, especially in the trail when rubbing the leaves. Thank goodness the God of Reviews (increasingly inactive) didn’t like it; it’s at a very good price.

  • Do not blindly follow the star reviewer; this is a delight. Looking for masculine figs, I compared it with Paradise Garden and the difference in quality is enormous. While PG smells of artificial popcorn and tonka bean that covers everything, this maintains a perfect balance between saffron, fig, and woods with a light leather. This one is mature and well-made, the other is brash and overused. It has similarities to my real fig trees, especially in the trail when rubbing the leaves. Thanks to the God of Reviews for not liking it; it is at a good price.

  • Only two perfumes flood a room with a single spray and remain strong for hours afterwards: this one and Moschino Toy Boy. My brother’s lasted strongly on his hand and was noticeable outside after an hour, and at 5 o’clock it was still perceptible. I, with 7 sprays in the cold, felt it strong for 4 hours, but an aunt liked it at 6 o’clock even though I couldn’t detect it myself. In the heat, I couldn’t smell it after 30 minutes, but in the car, concentrated, at 6 hours a friend noticed it at 40 cm. If you don’t smell it, it doesn’t mean others can’t detect it. It works in cold or heat, it doesn’t bother. In the dry down it is 80% similar to Montblanc Legend Red, but more potent.

  • Batch 09/24 is pure man, rich and dense from the very first second; the fig is the star, creamy and masculine, without a doubt. It projects a lot but with elegance, nothing scandalous, ideal for the office or a school event; it will make you look incredible and no one will complain. The leather gives that creamy texture to the other notes, making it fruity and sweet, while the dry down with fig and woods closes it perfectly. It’s a total winner: versatile for a wedding, a meeting, riding a moto with jeans, or a smart suit. The longevity is beast-like, lasting on clothes until you wash them and on skin for about 10 hours (my skin is generous, but it lasts less on others). Day, night, heat or cold, it is versatile. Buy blind, you won’t regret it.
