I bought this blindly a couple of years ago because the sales assistant convinced me. I don’t dislike Coach fragrances, but this one didn’t click with me at 100%. I didn’t love it and couldn’t identify with the scent. It projects poorly but lasts well on the skin. What I didn’t like was the dry-down and that synthetic touch. It’s not bad, simply not for me. Advice: if you catch it cheap and feel curious, buy it to take the edge off.

Fresh, woody and spiced, it timidly recalls the Boss line, specifically Bottled Elixir. Longevity is average and it adds nothing new. It’s masculine, clean and woody. For the price, it’s not worth the cost. Poor performance: about four hours with less than an hour of moderate projection. Look for another option at this price; that’s my advice.

  3. It’s a scent that reminds me of D&G’s K, as they share at least six notes. I find K more suitable for night or dates, a little sexier; Coach is more masculine and clean, ideal for everyday wear. It smells rich, so if you buy it, you won’t regret it. It is generic, yes, if you’ve smelled hundreds of perfumes sharing notes, it is. Regards.

  4. A fresh and citrusy perfume for summer and spring. Ideal for daily use, reliable and easy to please. It doesn’t invent anything new, it’s very generic, but it smells rich. I don’t see the resemblance to D&G’s K, let alone the EDP.

I tested it today on a strip and was pleasantly surprised by the top, heart and dry-down. It’s been almost nine hours on the strip and is still intense and delicious. It’s a fresh and masculine scent. I’ll apply it to my skin and if it passes the test, I’ll add it to my collection.

  6. Coach Open Road is a woody, aquatic and musky fragrance. Fruity and citrusy opening, fresh and pleasant. Minutes later, woody, aquatic and very slightly spiced notes are noticeable, with reminiscences of early 2000s fragrances. It’s not novel, but it’s easy to like. It simply adds musky elements; generally it’s fruity, aquatic and woody. It’s versatile, perfect for warm spring and summer days, casual outings with friends or any daytime activity. It lasted between five and six hours with low projection; sometimes there were bursts in the first hour, but afterwards I had to bring my nose close. As a scent it’s simple and easy to like, but it falls short on performance.

  7. I’ve tried this new Coach launch a couple of times. I confess I had few expectations, but it has something. It’s not the novelty of the scent but that it’s evocative. I sense typical masculine wood notes and aquatic notes not yet declared. The result is clean, fresh and elegant (I expected it to be more casual and generic) and it delivers. I’d categorise it as a good wardrobe staple. It might be pricey for what it offers (a little under €50 for 100ml), but I think it’s a good versatile daily fragrance with a just-out-of-the-shower touch, ideal for those rare days we all have when nothing appeals to us.
