It’s an easy scent to like, but it doesn’t last at all. I put it on and get maybe 30 minutes of projection at most. Don’t buy it for the price; I’d rather buy a load of Axe which last much longer. Recommendation: don’t waste your money on this perfume, it lasts nothing. For the $40 I paid, there are far better and longer-lasting alternatives.

It smells good, but its longevity and projection are a joke. There are better options on the market at the same price, even from the same brand.

Pros: It’s a fantastic perfume, smells delicious and girls love it. Cons: it doesn’t last at all; if you want it to last properly, you must spend a bottle a week. The only appropriate use I saw was for the gym, and it barely lasts the 90 minutes I spend there.

It is one of the best aromas I’ve perceived regarding versatile perfumes. If it had better longevity, projection, and if the quality of its heart and base notes improved, this would be one of every man’s favourites.

It’s a fragrance that delivers; you smell clean because it literally smells like some fabric softeners or detergents (with a slightly more complex aroma). People will like smelling like this, even if it’s a bit generic. In my case, I like that fruity tone that characterises it.

Excellent scent, though it depends on the batch you get. The early batches lasted 8 hours, but recently I’ve tried some that don’t even reach 5. Worth having in your collection to alternate on more casual days with your other fragrances. It should be cheaper now than when it launched; just ensure the batch is close to the year of creation and you’ll enjoy it immensely.

I started with lower expectations and was pleasantly surprised upon smelling it. It’s a rich aquatic floral masculine opening for the first hour, before turning fully aquatic, reminding me of Bvlgari Aqva. It does its job, is versatile, but I recommend using it in summer or warm climates. Lasts the normal amount for its price. In summary: Scent 8/10, Presentation 10/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10.

Coach for Men is versatile and ideal for daily wear, but I don’t think it’s a ‘blue’ fragrance; it falls into another category: GREY. To give examples in this group: Dior Sauvage, Jimmy Choo Man, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon, Creed Aventus, Zara Vibrant Leather, Montblanc Starwalker. It has a fresh and fruity opening, highlighting the mandarin and pear over a clean lavender base. As it settles, sweeter, floral and woody notes emerge. In the dry down, what I notice most is the suede and ambergris. It’s very rich and masculine, without being aggressive. Although it’s ‘sweet’, it’s not cloying; it generates effervescent freshness and cleanliness. Ideal for casual use and moderate temperatures. In the dry down it’s very similar to Jimmy Choo Man, but Coach has a more citrusy opening, and although neither stands out for longevity, Coach has better sillage and longevity on my skin.

It has a fresh, sparkling sweetness, although it seems simple and hard to distinguish from other fragrances with the same aim. The price is reasonable, not very expensive. I use it in spring-summer and during the day. I recommend 3 or 4 sprays.

Horrible fragrance. I don’t know what’s going on, because I can’t smell it; if it weren’t for buying it at my trusted perfumer, I’d doubt its authenticity. It’s somewhat citrusy, but I had to reapply it three times in three hours, with 10 sprays, to feel any sillage. The only thing I noticed was a horrible ambroxan. It’s a super-generic fragrance, seems like aftershave, and I think it’s a rip-off that they sell it in retail stores for $90 as if nothing. Please go for Yves Saint Laurent’s Y if you want something rich. I’ll leave this for the gym or sell it, because I truly didn’t like it at all.

On first try, it seemed very synthetic, but I kept testing it and it smells nice, similar to other blue fragrances, but I felt it lasted very little, I didn’t feel its trail for more than half an hour, and it didn’t last more than four hours: total disappointment. Later, I sold it to a friend in autumn without knowing that cool weather would be its strong suit. My friend wore it and couldn’t believe that same perfume was emitting such a trail, so I sprayed a bit of this fragrance; we went out and it turned out that now it projects and lasts decently more than I was used to. After three hours, it was still projecting, and in the morning, I felt a subtle scent I couldn’t believe. He still uses it to this day and always receives compliments from girls; I wouldn’t buy it again, yes, there are better ones, but given the price, it’s worth it. I think it depends a lot on the type of skin of the person using it, it’s good, gives compliments, and makes itself noticeable, which is the main thing.

I revisited this fragrance, which at one time was one of my favourites. I had stopped using it because it’s true that it doesn’t last more than 6 hours on skin and is only felt strongly for about 2 hours. Despite its performance, I think it’s a recommended fragrance. It has a charming fruity scent that, when dried, turns woody. It’s a versatile fragrance because it has fresh notes but also sweet tones, so I consider it can go well in any weather, although I’d say more for spring-autumn, especially during the day. I give it a 7.5/10.

COACH FOR MEN has left me indifferent this fragrance from Coach. Generally, it’s a fragrance that fulfils its purpose, smells good. I can even say it smells very good. It opens with a pear fruity note, accompanied by some citrus, which as the life of this fragrance progresses will lose prominence. The pear accord remains present until its dry down, where an amber base comes to the fore. I also detect cardamom and coriander in its heart phase. The issue is that for me, it lacks personality; I feel it’s somewhat generic, though this isn’t entirely bad. In fact, it reminds me of certain scents from the early 2000s. Its performance is average, between 7-8 hours; the first two with medium projection, then gradually dropping to skin level, although always present at distances less than a metre. It has its charm. I see it as versatile, for use in temperate weather, excluding extreme heat and cold. Suitable for informal and semi-formal wear. Appropriate for office and casual outings. Good value for money. Generates compliments.

To start, I’d say I think it’s a fairly pleasant perfume. Opens citrus/fruity and, when dried, introduces a note in the style of coumarin (tonka bean) and an ambroxan/ambergris base. I especially like the smell after the first 5-15 minutes, where the fruity notes settle, with a very synthetic but I think decently achieved and pleasant pear, with the own citrus more pungent and astringent. In this case, to my delight, the roasted tonka is very controlled. It’s like a potpourri of all the perfumes of this style we already know. There’s a hint of Sauvage, of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, of YSL Y Parfum, and I could go on and on. The difference is that here the perfume is as if it were in the middle of all of them. That is, it’s not very sweet, nor is it too citrusy, nor does the ambergris stand out above the rest of the notes, etc. Seems quite well balanced. The performance is like all these (I don’t include Sauvage): weak and discreet, although it lasts a few hours, especially on clothes. The trail is non-existent. Like almost all perfumes of its ‘millennial’ time, it’s soft, discreet, and rather bland. That is, for ‘men’, but with plucked eyebrows and where chest hair is scarce. Bear in mind this as a metaphor. It will please the female sex (generalising), as it barely smells and they can wear it perfectly, as, like almost all these modern things, despite the poetry they want to sell us and many swallow like lapdogs, it’s totally androgynous. In other words, metaphorically: don’t put too much spice, because the choni teenager, normally with big breasts, who Jeremy features in his videos, might not like it. It hasn’t displeased me, on the contrary, I liked it, but I see it as quite bland, with little character and weak performance. It’s like having ‘one more’. But I insist, it smells quite good and as other colleagues comment, I see it as versatile.

I’ve had this fragrance for almost a year and have been able to try it in every season; the first thing I must say is that it’s a very versatile fragrance. You can wear it to the office, the supermarket, a party, a bar, a meal, and it won’t look bad; it’s a rich fruity scent that turns slightly woody and masculine, but quite generic and very plain, as happens with many of the blue fragrances that have come to flood the market. Opens rich, fruity, but at least on my skin, it’s a duration of barely 20 minutes in what the woods come out, and in less than an hour it becomes a scent very close to the skin; sometimes I struggle to smell it. The longevity on my skin is barely 4 hours, which is very fatal for a fragrance that, in theory, shouldn’t have suffered the 100 reformulations of Le Male or Aqua Di Giò to have such bad performance. My recommendation is to smell and try, as within its family there are better options (which is not a scent I find pleasant at all), but searching in perfumeries, websites, or apps, it remains at a disadvantage because for a lower price you can acquire something of better quality and duration or, with a bit more money, acquire something better constructed. (Approximate price in Mexico 1200-1700 Mexican pesos or in dollars between 50 and 80 tentatively). In my personal opinion, I use it because it was a birthday gift but the bottle ends and I never plan to see it again.
