  A touch of 90s nostalgia… (My first review here). When Body Shop was cool and special, with distinctive scents and one of the few ‘natural’ cosmetic shops, or simply a standalone beauty store apart from Yves Rocher and the typical local chemist. I was fascinated by Dewberry; no fruity scent has ever had so much character. If the cornucopia of Fruit of the Loom came to life, it would smell like this. XD I also loved Ananya, which I remember as oriental, incense-y, even though looking at the notes it’s nothing of the sort. Those were the vibes, ahh. Of course, this is NOT a sponsored post, if anything an anti-ad, because it has become a very bland chain; I’m heartbroken, it has lost all its specialness and the perfumes launched from 2010 onwards… no comment. It seems everything has to be equally uniform and dull. True, there is plenty of choice now, but… nothing comparable. I hope they launch a reissue line of their classics, but not limited, please, as I’ve already got my own version of that… And by the way, let Yves Rocher stop releasing more Evidence and other equally flashy scents, and bring back Pivoine and all that pink and porcelain kitsch that I will never stop championing.
