Nun by Laboratorio Olfattivo is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, the nose behind this composition is Luca Maffei. The top notes are pear, neroli, bergamot and lemon (sour lime); the heart notes, white lotus, jasmine and ylang-ylang; and the base notes, musk, white woods and amber.

To me, it smells of lotus flower, with a touch of neroli and bergamot over a white musk base. It feels perfect for the Clean Girl Aesthetic. At the same time, it has a vintage touch brought up to date. It’s pretty, but it’s not for me.
This is the first review I’ve posted here and it’s one of my all-time favourites, very special. I ordered it blindly from Hunky Dory Laboratory solely based on what they said on their website and Instagram, and I hit the jackpot. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. It transports me to a rainy day strolling by a pond with the croaking of frogs. Although it’s marketed for summer, I think it’s ideal all year round. It makes me feel good, happy and in a good mood. I’ll definitely be buying it again when I finish this bottle.
A super light and clean fragrance that smells of peace and freshly laundered clothes. I imagine a quiet convent in nature, with garden flowers and water lilies in the lagoon. It’s as if a nun were picking fruit in her crisp uniform among Mediterranean trees with citrus scents. It could be called Heidi or The House of the Prairie, but I prefer NUN.
