It’s a floral/citrus scent that left me breathless. Perhaps I associate it with my childhood in the 70s, but it smells like a truly brilliant quality product. Plus, it lasts on the skin for about 7-8 hours with a moderate trail.
I’m not sure if it’s a chypre with a mossy base, but it’s absolutely lovely and unique. At first, it smells very feminine, but once it settles on the skin, it becomes unisex. It hits you like a ray of sunshine: bergamot, orange, sweet and sour flowers, all at once. You might think it’s better for your girlfriend or someone who wears skirts, but then the notes harmonise and a warm musk blends with a dark, spicy base. The flowers turn creamy, the citrus adds freshness, and underneath lies a seductive, ambered, ‘patchouli-like’ depth that radiates sensuality. It lasts, brightens up sad days with its retro vibe, and deserves a try if you can find it.
