  • I love it. Great work by Rodrigo Flores-Roux. It reminds me, at times, of my beloved Gucci Envy with a modern, effervescent opening. Alongside Black Lacquer, one of the launches of the year. It’s versatile. Thanks to Perfumería Julia Diagonal for giving me the opportunity to try and buy it before it was officially released in Spain.

  • What madness that after so long, a revisited Gucci Pour Homme returns! As it dries down, it catches a very distant glimpse of Envy and even recalls Ébène Fumé… absolutely wonderful! For me, it’s a beast; the Tom of Gucci has returned.

  • Incredible that after all this time, Gucci has revisited Pour Homme. As it dries down, it has a very distant flash of Envy. It can also evoke Ébène Fumé… quite simply, miracles! For me, it’s brilliant. The Tom of Gucci is back.

  • For me, the sandalwood stands out too much, though it also smells of oak and incense. Do I detect patchouli? I was expecting something different.

  • It’s a beast: dry, woody, and very masculine. Smells like perfumes from 20 years ago, before the niche trend took over, with all that personality intact. It’s very close to the style of Carthusia 1681. As it dries down, it becomes more sandalwood and green, with that 90s to 2000s vibe and a nod to the discontinued classic Gucci scents created when Tom Ford was the artistic director. Between cardamom, iris, and incense, it has that dry, sharp character. It fits perfectly into the Signature line, which could have been a signature fragrance—a term that is now history and something we dearly miss. Bravo, Tom.

  • Definitely, perfumes with oak notes aren’t for me… although I like the smell, they all smell to me of freshly cut dry wood.

What a rich thing! I tried it without looking or mixing anything because I wasn’t intending to seek perfumes, and what a surprise. It seems extremely elegant, and I say seems because although I’ve worn it for over five hours, it’s still here, quiet but very present. It’s olibanum with woods and something green from the cardamomo and an amber base from the 80s/90s. Dry, slightly talc-like… I would buy it without doubt. It has a certain vibe similar to YSL’s Caftan, which, by the way, is another work of art. A surprise that I hadn’t been taken in by the world of perfumery for so long.

  • It resembles the beloved Gucci Pour Homme I like bread to oil; nothing to do with each other. I’m wearing it and it’s a good perfume, but it has nothing to do with Gucci. It has reminiscences of Tom Ford for Men, now discontinued and a great perfume, with a very intense, incense-like cardamomo note, dry, woody, and creamy due to the sandalwood that gives it touches similar to Santal Blush from the same house, a pleasant surprise and one that will surely come to the collection soon.

What a gorgeous fragrance! It’s true that it has those nuances that remind you of Tom Ford for Gucci. Since I’ve missed Envy, I haven’t tried anything like this. Good work, Tom!

  • I’ve just picked up this work of art; very elegant and masculine. I also owned the original Gucci Pour Homme; perhaps they have something in common, but both are of the elite.

  • I’ve picked up this gem; it’s super elegant and has a masculine air. It sounds a bit like Gucci Pour Homme to me; I’m sure they share something, as both smell extremely select.

  • It’s elegant and beautiful! I adore its smoky and woody opening with certain amber accords… For me, it’s exquisite, excellent work by TF. But as happens with some fragrances from the house, it tends to be very good olfactorily but not in performance. On my skin, it lasts well, approximately 5 to 7 hours, but doesn’t project much, staying in a bubble almost close to the skin. I particularly apply it to clothing because it lasts longer on fabric. It shares notes with Ébène Fumé, but they’re different: Ébène projects more and is warmer, whereas Bois attempts to be a light, fresh woody scent. In the end, I prefer Bois Pacifique; it’s easier to wear. I’d give it a 10/10, but its performance doesn’t allow it. Total 8/10: Scent 10/10, Performance 6/10.

  • I’ve just acquired it; it’s a beauty. Excellent work by Tom Ford. On my skin, it lasts 8 to 10 hours, thanks to my pH, which is very favourable. It’s a masculine, elegant, and very versatile fragrance. Another little bottle for my collection.

  • What a beautiful fragrance! I’m adding my review to the others. It’s soft, elegant, and woody with that subtle touch that reminds me very much of Costa Azzurra and Ébène Fumé, but from a different line. It transports me to a morning forest with a floral or herbal touch, like a spring breeze. Costa Azzurra would be more summery and subtle. I hardly know it and it should have more hype. It’s a pity that its longevity and projection are moderate; it’s more for personal enjoyment. This is 9/10; it just lacks performance.

  • What a beautiful fragrance! I align with the other reviews. It’s soft, elegant, and woody with that subtle touch reminiscent of Costa Azzurra and Ébène Fumé, but from a different line. It transports me to a forest in the morning, with something floral or herbal but not exactly that, like a spring breeze. Costa Azzurra would be a more summery and subtle breeze. I hardly know it, so it should be more hyped. Unfortunately, its longevity and projection are moderate; it’s more for personal enjoyment. This is 9/10; it would need better performance.

  • It’s as if Costa Azzurra and Ébène Fumé had a child. At first, it smells more like the former, but as it dries down, the roles reverse. On my skin, I enjoy that evolution from CA to EF (it’s not identical, but it evokes it greatly). It has tremendous longevity of 12 hours: projects strongly for the first 3-4 hours, then sits at bubble level for another 4, and the rest is close to the skin. It’s suitable for day and night, but with strategy: in the morning, it’s perfect for the beach or the office, and after 6 pm it transforms into an incredible evening scent. It’s like layering with itself! Spectacular.

  • It’s as if Costa Azzurra and Ébène Fumé had a child. At first, it smells more like the former, but as it dries down, the notes invert. That’s simply how it is. On my skin, I enjoy that evolution from one to the other (though not identical, it evokes a strong similarity). It has tremendous longevity of 12 hours: projects strongly for the first 3-4 hours, then 4 hours at bubble level, and the rest close to the skin. It’s worn day and night, but not randomly. It evolves from a perfect scent for the beach or the office into an incredible evening fragrance after 6 pm. It’s as if it’s layering with itself. Spectacular!

  • A dry woody scent, slightly powdery, which conveys more sandalwood than iris. At times, it has a vintage air. Despite carrying amber and vanilla, it’s not sweet, making it very masculine and elegant. Ideal for autumn or spring, and perhaps for cool summer evenings. As for performance, from first impressions, I think it’s for personal enjoyment, a soft scent that invades the immediate surroundings. Of all the scents Bois Pacifique reminds me of, Bentley for Men Absolute bears no resemblance to it. Greetings to the community.

  • Smells of dry wood and a touch of talc, where sandalwood dominates the iris. It has a vintage vibe; although it lists amber and vanilla, it isn’t sweet, making it very masculine and elegant. Ideal for autumn or spring, and perhaps for cool summer evenings. For now, I think it’s for personal enjoyment, a soft scent that envelops the surroundings without being overpowering. Out of all the ones that recall Bois Pacifique, Bentley for Men Absolute bears no resemblance to it. Greetings to the community!
