Descripción
Libre Berry Crush by Yves Saint Laurent is a new addition to the fruity floral olfactive family, created for women. Launched in 2025, this fragrance unveils a vibrant olfactive pyramid: the top notes blend the freshness of raspberry with the citrusy brightness of mandarin; the heart reveals the delicacy of orange blossom and the elegance of lavender; while the base offers an enveloping warmth thanks to bourbon vanilla, musk, and coconut.

I think they’ve improved the Flowers and Flames version: it’s creamier, dries down more naturally and is less sharp due to the musk. It seems to me to be the best version, but it remains the YSL Libre of old: orange blossom and lavender, with a unisex touch.
I found it somewhat disappointing 🫤. Although the opening is fruity, I expected a more pronounced profile of red fruits (considering the colour) and instead found a super citrus opening that evaporates quickly on my skin. As it dries, the coconut and musk notes take centre stage, but on my skin they lose presence rapidly. It leaves a creamy, soft scent close to the skin. It’s more the smell of a light body cream than a perfume with character. Perhaps on other skins it’s more enveloping, but on mine I lack depth and intensity.

I expected more; I was super excited about this flanker 😅. Perhaps it could have been the definitive Libre for my collection (I’m not a mega fan of the line). The liquid is dark, like Vanilla28, so be careful with light clothes. I expected many more berries 🫐🍓🍇🍒, more sweetness and coquettishness. It tastes a bit bitter at first and then returns to the classic Libre, without that sparkling touch of the original. Longevity and projection are average. It hasn’t won me over; it doesn’t say anything to me, and I’m a lover of red and blue forest fruits 😂. I’ll try it again and if I change my mind, I’ll edit the review.
This Libre is a sweeter version than Flowers and Flame, according to the sales assistant. Besides adding raspberry, they’ve changed the lavender essence.

This is the first Libre flanker I like; it doesn’t feel as invasive as the others. The Libre isn’t a bad perfume; I even consider it super elegant, but I don’t like it for me, especially due to the orange blossom, a note that doesn’t fascinate me. However, in this flanker it’s not the star, and as its name suggests, the red fruits are everything. I didn’t think I’d add it to my wishlist, but I have.
Of all the Libre flankers, this one takes the crown. I don’t smell direct raspberry; instead, it’s sweeter and more balanced without losing its elegance. It’s like a more generic, usable version of the original, and I loved it.

It’s the DNA of the Classic but sweeter with less lavender. The raspberry only adds sweetness; the fruit isn’t noticeable. As a raspberry fan, I was disappointed. For me, it’s a no.
I’m torn between the Classic and the Intense; this smells like winter and the orange blossom is much less prominent. It lasts a mere breath, and the red fruits completely overshadow the originality of the Libre.
Among the flankers, this one has dethroned the rest. I don’t sense real raspberry, but something sweeter and more balanced; it’s neat yet generic, a more usable version of the Libre. I loved it.
My favourite Libre ♥. It has that raspberry acid at the start. The DNA is always there, but it dries down creamier and more enveloping. It doesn’t smell of cream, but rather warm and sexy. The longevity is beastly; a little goes a long way. Very flattering, it’s the sexy side of my precious perfume.
