Soul by Oriflame is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men, launched in 2003. The nose behind this composition is Christian Vermorel. The top notes reveal laurel, bergamot, basil, red apple, juniper and grapefruit; the heart unfolds with rosemary, coriander, thyme, fir and suede; while the base notes complete the olfactory pyramid with patchouli, sandalwood and amber.

Very fresh at first, but becomes heavier over time. The bay and rosemary are very noticeable. VERY MALE. Smells of forest, herbal, and fresh, somewhat versatile. Recommended for men aged 20 to 40.

What a delicious fragrance! Very fresh, herbal, and with a flirtatious touch. Initially, you detect herbal notes of bay, basil, thyme, and rosemary, then it transitions to a slightly sweet apple accompanied by bergamot, patchouli, and sandalwood. The best part is the dry down: the amber and suede give musky, flirtatious nuances. It suits fresh days, both day and night, with semi-formal attire. On my skin, it lasts about 6–7 hours and projects well for around 2 metres. Definitely worth trying.

A typical catalogue fragrance with that plastic note that defines this line. I’m sorry, but it’s not what I would wear.
Fresh, herbal with a hint of citrus; at first it reminds me of Polo Blue. As it dries, the suede appears subtly but well, and the apple note lingers throughout. Decent longevity for a catalogue fragrance: not revolutionary, it resembles others, but it delivers and I recommend it.
