  Little Black Dress brings back memories of a time of pure joy and simplicity, just before life became complicated. It transports me to a spring morning somewhere far away, fresh upon waking and warming up by midday. It smells of a simple rose and a warm, subtle, distant wood, nothing overpowering. It is an irreplaceable scent, like those moments that mark us and never return. An unpretentious perfume I loved immensely, which said so much about me in my ‘glorious days’.

  They gave it to me when I was 15 and I used it only at night. Afterwards, I reserved it for going out with my boyfriend, I liked it so much that I still have the bottle, as I was embarrassed to use it when I couldn’t get it again.

  It suits everything, great for the day and doesn’t clash in a quiet outing or at night. It’s floral and creamy, a fresh smell but with a honeyed touch.

  It’s a sweet and citrusy woody scent, elegant, high-end level. I won’t assign an age, but it smells serious and calm, similar to the Aqua Florale family by Valentino, ideal for women over 25. It works day and night (I increase the flow at night). It lasts 4 to 6 hours on the skin with good projection.

I do not assign an age to fragrances, but it feels serious and calm, similar to the Aqua Florale family by Valentino, ideal for women over 25. It works well during the day and at night (I intensify it at night with more sprays). It lasts about 4 to 6 hours on the skin with good projection.

  According to Fragrantica, it’s the new version. The notes are apricot, jasmine, ginger, honeysuckle and bergamot on top; gardenia, peony and ylang-ylang in the heart; and musk, plum, tonka bean and sandalwood at the base. It smells sweet and unpretentious to me, the plum and dry wood stand out, I don’t notice anything citrusy. I use it a lot for the day. Scent 7/10, longevity 6/10, sillage 6/10, value for money 8/10, versatility 8/10, packaging 6/10. Perhaps I’ll buy it again.

  According to Fragrantica, this fragrance has already been reformulated, so my new bottle must be from the latest batch. The notes are: apricot, jasmine, ginger, honeysuckle and neroli on top; gardenia, peony and ylang-ylang in the heart; and musk, plum, tonka bean and sandalwood at the base. For me, it is very pleasant, sweet and unpretentious. What stands out most is the plum aroma mixed with a dry woody base; I detect nothing citrusy. I love it for everyday wear. Scent 7/10, longevity 6/10, sillage 6/10, value for money 8/10, versatility 8/10 and packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? Perhaps.

  It’s a sweet classic, ideal for the night, although it doesn’t last long due to the price. It also works well every day, with a citrus note I like. It’s not extraordinary, but it delivers.

  It is a perfume with which I feel comfortable in any occasion; it can be adjusted according to the number of sprays and the setting. Personally, it suits my personality very naturally; I do not find it powdery, so I have felt fine wearing it since I was 18. It is not a girly scent; I have the current version.

  I wore it 19 years ago when going out and now I’ve bought it again after its long absence and reform. It’s curious; I like it better now, changed. I’ve already ordered more bottles as it’s very economical. Good for daily wear, ideal for any weather and adds charm to the day; it’s not a great perfume, but it’s pleasant, wearable and more than enough.

  I tried it before the reform and, with that skin-deep ginger and coriander, it wasn’t for me; it was too spicy, nothing I enjoy in sweet, powdery floral perfumes. Who is it for: those who love spicy ginger-type scents.

  It’s the crown jewel of the line. I skipped the flanker, which smells generic and is too much for me; this version is more wearable, even if it’s not my absolute favourite. Perfect for fresh nights.
