I picked it up casually at an outlet near Girls Green. I didn’t realise it had been launched in Argentina until I saw the notes, but given the price, it was worth a try—and what a surprise! It’s exquisite. Why didn’t I know about it before? Why does AVON throw such well-crafted fragrances away? This Célèbre isn’t even linear; it has warm, floral and fresh moments. Why waste masterpieces? Perfumery should rescue such treasures. It starts warm, then becomes floral and fresh, full of energy but not the kind that wakes you up like guaraná, but rather the kind that makes you want to enjoy what you’re doing. Cyclamen and peony give it its signature, while the rest of the notes sound like an orchestra. The sandalwood is just right so it doesn’t smell like incense. It’s ideal for all day, but since it’s not easy to find, I’ll keep it as a treasure. Curious fact: mine came without a sprayer, which suggests it’s from the era when you could choose the packaging.

It’s a wonderful fragrance, a floral blend with a fruity and woody touch. On my skin, it feels slightly powdery and quite floral; I don’t pick up the fruity notes. Perfect for fresh days. You can find the 50 ml quite cheaply on Notino; if you like floral scents, it’s definitely worth it. It’s a unique, clean and marvellous scent.
