Far Away Beyond by Avon

I wear it in the evenings and during winter. On my skin, the cocoa and vanilla explode; it smells like a dessert, but one of those you don’t eat afterwards. It’s very similar to the Kriska Romance by Natura, which is no longer available. I recommend it.

It’s a very woody vanilla; on my skin, it doesn’t smell like a dessert. I like it; it has a touch of ‘old lady’ about it. It lasts about six hours and leaves a nice trail at first. For its price, it’s a hit.

It’s my favourite from Avon; the quality is top-notch and has nothing to envy from imported brands. On my skin, it lasts about seven hours. It’s gourmand but not cloying, with cocoa, chocolate and vanilla without overdoing any of them. Although it’s for evening wear, I use it by day and all year round without it feeling heavy, perhaps thanks to the white flowers and the pear, which I don’t notice much but which moderate it. It’s woody and gives it an oriental touch. It’s excellent, especially for the price. I bought it blind and liked it so much that I took the larger bottle because I’d already used up the smaller one.

I found it masculine, with a lot of personality. A woman wearing it won’t go unnoticed. The woods are very present; I don’t detect the pear.

Vanilla and sandalwood… it convinced me to buy it, but the fragrance didn’t win me over. The longevity on my skin is only a couple of hours. Discardable.

I didn’t like it: it’s one of those scents that can make you dizzy, perhaps due to excess sandalwood. I stopped using it as a car air freshener because, perceiving it as unisex, I can’t find any man willing to wear it.

The wood completely mutes the other notes that promised to be gourmand. I expected that, but I encountered a very heavy cedar that is all I can feel, and it’s unbearable.

It’s my favourite from the Far Away line for autumn and winter. I was initially scared by the sillage, but once I tried it, it’s a total hit from Avon. I recommend it blindly; it might seem masculine due to some notes, but to me, it sounds feminine and dark, ideal for being well-dressed, not for jeans and trainers.

Smells of deep chocolate and vanilla. Unlike others, it’s not woody but gourmand. You can detect pink pepper. On my skin, it lasts all day without needing reapplication. It’s potent; three or four sprays are noticeable with every movement. If you like cocoa, this is for you.

It doesn’t disgust me, but it has an oriental touch (sandalwood or spices) that doesn’t suit me. There’s an excess of vanilla, no cake, just wood and no fruit. It’s 100% linear. I recommend it for those over 30, for evening wear, and in winter (below 15 degrees). Don’t buy it blindly; the line’s DNA is noticeable.

Beautiful fragrance, strong and sweet opening with pepper. At first, it smells boozy, like Armani’s In Love With You. Then comes the vanilla sweetness, fruits, and caramel, all balanced. It’s not dessert; it’s a spiced sweetness and adult, typical of the Far Away line. Worth a try.

It’s not gourmand; it’s woody. The vanilla is noticeable as vanillin, which smells like an old book or a dusty library. As it dries, that brown paper scent dominates. It’s more noticeable in the heart, but at the end, the other notes shine. For me, it’s one of the best flankers.

Gourmand and delicious, but on my skin, it lasts only an hour. If you want a trail, you’ll have to reapply constantly.

I had high expectations because its sibling, the Royale, fell in love with me at first sight. It’s not for gourmand lovers; it’s floral, woody and musky with a very unisex opening. The aquatic touch is present, making it fresh and clean, even reminiscent of some Natura freshness, but it’s not the vanilla amber the description promises. It’s not bad, but I stick with Royale, Infinity and Glamour from the same line.
