It’s a glamorous perfume as its name suggests, worthy of an important night or a party with new clothes. It’s a sweet vanilla floral. On my skin it lasts 6 hours when freshly applied and has a good trail; it stays on clothes for a long time, even in heat. It is truly worthy of a party. It’s worth mentioning that the Far Away Classic gave me a headache because it was very strong, but this one isn’t sweet or fruity; it’s powdery and refined. Worthy of an elegant, seductive and mysterious night.
Far Away Glamour is a fragrance that starts with blackcurrants, sweet neroli, and finishes vanilla-like. It resembles Far Away Rebel. The trail is moderate and lasts about 2 to 4 hours. I think it’s versatile for all year round, suitable for people aged 20 and above. I don’t feel it’s for special events; rather, it’s more casual.
Avon Far Away Glamour eau de parfum has an opening of blackcurrants mixed with sweet bitter orange flower and a vanilla finish. It resembles Far Away Rebel. Its trail is moderate and lasts about 2-4 hours. I think it’s versatile for all year round, ideal for people aged 20 and above. I don’t feel it’s for formal events, but rather for casual use.
For me, the best Far Away of all. It’s delicious, sweet-fruity-incense and floral. It lasts a long time with a good trail, but isn’t too strong; rather medium, leaning towards fresh. It’s sexy, elegant, nocturnal and addictive.
Wow, what a beautiful perfume! I love when Avon surprises us with another gem to collect at a sensational price. It deserves to be in the Far Away line. The bottle is gorgeous; the black makes it even finer and more elegant. It’s long-lasting with a moderate trail and a delicate aroma. It has a powdery touch and a subtle pepper that gives it that spicy initial note, along with undisclosed woods and subtle citrus in the first hours. The vanilla is subtle, as are the musk and patchouli, making it versatile for cold weather without being exuberant. The citrus is barely noticeable but necessary to balance the sweetness, very different from modern fragrances where only the top notes shine. It’s a natural sweet, probably from orange blossom. I can’t find a similar scent in the collection: less sweet than the Rebel and without the gourmand note, and less acidic than the Exotic. I was surprised and applaud the creators thanks to Avon for these treasures.
What a gem of a perfume! I love when Avon surprises us with something so beautiful at such an incredible price. It deserves to sit alongside the Far Away range. The black bottle makes it look super elegant. It smells delicate, with a powdery touch and a hint of spicy pepper at the start, followed by subtle citrus and then the base. The vanilla is soft, as are the amber and patchouli, perfect for cold weather without being heavy. The citrus notes are barely noticeable but key to cutting through the excessive sweetness, making it very different from modern fragrances. It’s a natural sweetness, I believe from jasmine. I couldn’t find anything similar in the collection; Rebel is less sweet and lacks the gourmand aspect, while Exotic is more acidic with more blackcurrant. In Glamour, there’s no acidity or extreme sweetness. I was surprised and grateful to Avon for this!
I absolutely love this perfume; it’s for a romantic dinner for two! I don’t feel like wearing it to hang out with friends, but rather for special and loving situations. The only negative is that on my skin it lasts about three hours and the trail is only at the beginning. My partner and my work colleague loved it. If you ask me if I would buy it again, obviously yes! Despite the short longevity on the skin, its fragrance is exquisite.
They gave it to me and it’s a good perfume, rich in nuances. On my skin, the blackcurrants pop out first, followed by a splendid vanilla, finishing with well-balanced and creamy citrus notes. It’s elegant, a bit dry and bitter, and I find that bitterness delicious.
I like it; it’s very rich and sweet, but I have to say two things: 1) I find it very similar to my Imari Seduction, almost identical in the dry-down. Perhaps I should have compared the notes before buying it, as they share a lot. 2) The downside is that it fades on my skin; after two hours, I can’t smell it anymore, even though I applied it well. Today I tried the 15 ml version and, although I love it, I wouldn’t dare to buy the large size. For me, it lasts like a body splash, at most five hours. It lacks longevity compared to Far Away Infinity or the Classic. The scent is more complex than the Imari, super feminine and delicate, with blackcurrants, vanilla, and a sparkling touch of pink pepper. I recommend it for the smell, but the longevity on my skin is weak.
My mother had just left and left a trail that made me comment on this hidden gem from Avon. I love it: it’s sweet with huge projection (at least on her skin). It has a slight resemblance to Far Away Rebel, but this one is more glamorous and elegant. Ideal for women aged 25 and above for going out at night.
My mum wore it and left such a huge trail that I was forced to write a review. I love it; it’s sweet and very potent (at least on her skin). It has a slight resemblance to Far Away Rebel, but this one is more elegant and glamorous, as its name suggests. I see it for people aged 25 and upwards, ideal for going out at night.
It’s a rich and persistent perfume. At first, there’s a sweet fruit that gives way to a soft floral. I wore it at night and by morning I could still detect a lingering trace of flowers on my skin. It was there, subtle yet present.
It’s a rich and persistent perfume. At first, it smells of sweet fruit, then it yields to a soft floral scent. I wore it at night and by the morning I could still detect a very faint touch of flowers on my skin, but it was there.
I love its citrus aroma, which is very prominent just behind those sweet fruity notes. It’s intense and elegant, evoking orange and grapefruit leaves, perfect for refreshing like a classic cologne. A winning combination.
I loved it! I bought a small size some time ago and at first it didn’t do much for me, but now I’m passionate about it. I’m a fan of the original and I don’t think there’s one with better longevity, but I liked it more than the Infinity version. It seems more potent and present without being overpowering. You can detect the citrus, orange blossom, blackcurrants, and a delicious vanilla. It has a beautiful evolution: it starts citrusy and finishes with exquisite Madagascar vanilla. I read it was similar to Imari Seduction, but for me, it’s very different; that one is flatter and more vanilla-focused with less performance. Far Away Glamour evolves and is worth having in the collection; I’ll buy another when I finish this small bottle.
I loved it. I bought a travel size in an Avon purchase and although it didn’t say much to me at first, now I’m passionate about it. I’m a fan of the original and I don’t think there’s one similar in persistence or fragrance, but I liked this more than the Infinity. It seems more potent, with presence, without being suffocating. You can feel the citrus, the orange blossom, and the blackberries. The vanilla is a delight, elegant and fine. It has a potency that the Infinity lacks. Every skin feels it differently depending on the pH. I don’t feel it similar to Imari Seduction (which is flatter and purely vanilla-based). Far Away Glamour evolves from a citrus and boozy opening to an exquisite and glamorous Madagascar vanilla. It’s beautiful. I won’t change the original, but this is worth having. I’ll buy it when I find an opportunity because the travel size is running out. It’s one of the perfumes I want in my collection.
Far Away Glamour is rich, bittersweet, and creamy. It’s wearable and versatile, with medium performance. It’s more youthful than the classic, Beyond, and Royale versions. It reminded me slightly of Infiniti, but they differ in the dry-down: that one sweetens, while Glamour becomes sweet and acidic due to the blackberries. I loved it, but if I have one, I probably won’t need the other. Excellent value for money. Ideal for lovers of currants and those who enjoy Far Away Infiniti.
Far Away Glamour is floral but unique, wearable for daily life. It’s a bit overpowering and creamy. Pity that the longevity and sillage are very short on my skin.
It’s one of the fragrances I’ve most looked forward to receiving lately. It was a gift from wonderful friends who, with a genuine gesture, wanted to cheer me up and be part of my collection, making the hug even warmer. I’ve worn it for four days in a row. Far Away Glamour has nothing to do with the original, except for the vanilla. Both are very different. It reminds me more of the dark versions of Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue or Roberto Cavalli, fused with something from Good Girl (though it doesn’t really resemble it). It’s dense, dark, with a synthetic and sweet touch, quite linear. The fruit (currants) dominates at the start and the vanilla at the end. To my nose, it smells like currant syrup with orange blossom and a base of woods and vanilla. Soft sillage, 8-9 hours longevity. Do I like the original more? Yes, we love it at home. But this version creates a precious olfactory memory. Avon has modest perfumery but good value for money and unique scents. Smell 7/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 6/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? Perhaps, to receive that sincere hug every time I wear it.
It smells like nothing; it completely disappointed me. I suspect it might be faulty or adulterated as it has no notable aroma. It’s wasted money.
Smells rich, slightly woody and talcky. Perhaps it’s more for someone older; it smells a bit ‘stately’, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 30. What is a great plus, though: it doesn’t smell of patchouli, and I love that because I hate that note.
Testing mid-range fragrances in Argentina due to the economy; imported ones are hard to get. I tried Far Away Glamour; the dark bottle gives a sense of intensity and I read it lasts long. It didn’t conquer me and on my skin it lasts only a couple of hours. Discardable.
I’m testing mid-range fragrances in Argentina because imported ones are hard to get hold of. I tried Far Away Glamour and Beyond. As the dark bottle gives an impression of intensity and I read it’s long-lasting, I gave it a go. But the fragrance didn’t win me over, and on my skin, it lasts only a couple of hours. Discardable.
Very rich, sharp, barely sweet. It’s serious, undoubtedly, a bit stately due to its voluptuous but distant body. The longevity is decent.
Less ‘stately’ than the classic, it keeps that vanilla and talc base. On my skin, it highlights a creamy, powdery orange blossom that brings back memories of old soaps. It’s very pleasant, with moderate sillage at first and then a short trail. Ideal for going out with friends when you’ve dressed up a bit, but without being overly elegant. The heart has a slight acidic touch that balances the sweetness. It’s coquettish yet mature, suitable for 30 years or older.
I bought it excited about the notes, but on my skin it’s a bomb: very strong, sweet, and smelling of an 80-year-old grandmother. It doesn’t evolve; it stays exactly like that for an hour, very overpowering and without nuances.
