Perfumes de Jean-Marc Chaillan

Jean-Marc Chaillan is a highly qualified perfumer with an impressive career in the fragrance industry. Born in France, he grew up in Grasse, where he was exposed to the world of fragrances from an early age, as his father was a well-known perfumer and industry executive.

Following his passion for fragrances, Jean-Marc completed his formal training at the renowned ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, where he honed his skills and developed his unique creative style. After finishing his studies, he began his professional career at J & E Sozio, where he worked alongside his father, gaining valuable experience and expertise.

Later, he joined the global flavours and fragrances company, IFF, where he has been part of the high perfumery department for many years. He has held various positions within the company, including those of Vice President and Senior Perfumer. In this role, he has created a range of fragrances for some of the world’s best-known brands, such as Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera and Elizabeth Arden.

Throughout his career, Jean-Marc has shown an acute ability to combine a deep understanding of the art and science of perfumery with a natural talent for creativity and innovation. He has created fragrances that have become icons of the industry, such as Burberry London, Calvin Klein CK IN2U for Her and Carolina Herrera Chic for Men.
