I bought it first because of the advertisement (which I should have done) and then tested it on a blotter. Initially, I liked it, but then I realised I don’t sense the pyramid of this perfume; instead, all the notes appear equally, more or less from the start. It’s oriental, quite sweet without being cloying, but it lacks sparkle or staying power. It’s just another fragrance with no identity. Surely, if I smell it again, I wouldn’t recognise it.
I bought it online blind because it caught my eye, and to be honest, I haven’t liked it at all; I don’t know, I can’t find anything particular about it.
No single ingredient stands out. It’s like a heavy medley, and there’s one element in the blend that I dislike: perhaps the amber, which seems to be doubled here. I’m not convinced by Elizabeth Arden perfumes.
There’s no sign of any loose ingredients; it’s a thick, muddled concoction. Something really jars me—perhaps the amber that keeps repeating. I just can’t bring myself to like Elizabeth Arden fragrances.
I was gifted this fragrance and, much to my dismay, it makes me feel sick. I detect a hint of peach, quince, and other blended notes, but it causes disgust and dizziness; it’s a pity it’s so poorly executed.
I was gifted this scent, and much to my regret, it makes me feel queasy. I detect hints of peach and quince mixed together, but it provokes disgust and dizziness; it’s a pity it’s so poorly executed.
I love the brand; all their perfumes are excellent, but this one I haven’t liked at all; it’s not for me. On my skin, the notes take a very masculine turn. I gave it to a friend and she absolutely adores it.
I’ve liked this perfume. I won’t say it’s unforgettable, as while it has its own character, it isn’t so original that you wouldn’t confuse it with others. To me, it smells like a sweet floral-fruity scent without that woody or amber note they claim it has. It’s discreet and not intrusive; perfect for everyday wear in any season. I’d say it could suit everyone. It’s a pity it doesn’t last long on my skin. Although I can’t smell it after a while, I’ve received several compliments on how it smells (specifically when dry). The bottle is a bit of a joke and difficult to store in a normal toiletry bag, at least in the 100 ml size, because it’s very elongated. It’s also not dark as shown in the photo, but rather transparent.
I was gifted the original Interlude years ago and I remember it being delicious, but by mistake I ordered this version online and, to be honest, I haven’t enjoyed it as much. It’s one of those scents you can’t wear first thing in the morning because it makes me feel physically unwell.
