Euphoria Men by Calvin Klein

A fragrance I like, though I find it a bit weak. It conveys cleanliness and is easy to wear, perfect for daily use or the office in temperate climates. The opening is fresh and spiced, with ginger and pepper marking a clean and elegant start. Then comes an herbal and woody base where sage and cedar stand out; I don’t notice much basil, but it surely adds that green nuance that balances everything. As it dries down, it gains warmth from the amber and a suede touch that softens the scent. The issue is the performance: on my skin it fades quickly, barely noticeable after a few hours. It lasts about 5–6 hours with poor projection and a close sillage. Fresh, versatile, and classy, but it lacks presence. Rating: 6.5/10.

It’s a noble perfume, smells good, but the longevity and projection are poor. I use it for the gym or when staying at home.

A unique and delicious composition upon application, with a beautiful bottle presentation and a good atomiser, but with very low longevity and projection, something common in CK fragrances. It’s an excellent fragrance for all occasions, but very fleeting.

Very good fragrance… honestly, I don’t understand why some dislike it. I’d like to think it’s not their preference, but in general it’s very good and lasts well on my skin and clothes.

This fragrance is delicious, modern, and masculine. I love it for its rich woody notes. It used to be a bomb, and I don’t know how the new presentations are. I remember the women’s version was used by my mum; it was also very pleasant and striking, just like the men’s. It’s a good blind buy.

If you catch it on offer, it’s a real treat: soft, pleasant, with that modern spicy touch that goes from day to night without any issues.

Nice scent, but unfortunately it vanishes in the blink of an eye on the skin. Ideal for spring and summer; I recommend it despite that.

MYSTICAL AURA: Spicy, floral and aromatic scent, almost unisex. If you smell Euphoria for women, you’ll see they follow the same path: spicy and intense at first. The pepper and ginger open with power, but it’s not fresh; rather, it’s warm, dry, with a well-balanced sweetness. Then comes the sage and cedar, enhancing that aromatic character; the amber is barely noticeable and the patchouli is discreet, so what dominates is the spicy and sweet. The fixative is decent, though on my skin it degrades quickly (lasts about 5 hours on clothes). It’s sober, makes no fuss, perfect for day or night, but better under 27 degrees. Ideal for office or casual wear, with that urban and bohemian air of an afternoon tea at dusk. Suits people aged 25 to 40. I’ve had it for four years and I’m on my second bottle. Apply 6 or 8 sprays to distribute the intensity. Fixative: 7.5. Sillage: medium. Intensity: medium.

Soft, floral and sweet, perfect for romantic dates or those quarantine days. That soft, addictive sage mixed with ginger makes it subtle yet highly desirable. It gives a sense of cleanliness and freshness, generates compliments, and in spring-summer it works brilliantly. For those over 25, ideal for office, casual outings and a bit of intimacy. If you’re looking for something fresh, soft and with a sweet touch, this is your option: it improves with time and leaves a sense of well-being.

Agree with those who said it already: very poor performance, barely two hours before it fades to skin scent. Notes of ginger and pepper at first, but the rest is dull. So many expectations for something so bland and generic.

Euphoria Men is just another sweet summer scent, on par with Tommy or Versace. Probably reformulated like its feminine counterpart. If it’s hot and humid, it’s worth it for the price and versatility, though Eternity Flame wins on performance for the same money. It’s a classic with its audience: harmless but usable. Vibrant ginger and pepper top notes open into a green heart with sage and cedar, leading to a creamy base with patchouli, cedarwood, and suede. A fresh and tempting oriental. CK is great at the start but vanishes in an hour, just like Obsession. A good gift option.

I see no euphoria, no elegance, nor anything smoky like the bottle suggests; it would suit a light purple better. I tried it expecting a fresh spicy scent. Instead, there’s vulgar, macho 90s ginger with a futuristic 2000s aura. I don’t know what CK intended, but I love it despite its wasted potential and poor performance. It gives me the same feeling as City Glam: creamy, glistening, and nocturnal ginger. While Menardo and Cresp nail it, Euphoria falls halfway. Good heavens, so much effort for a bit of ginger and woods. Putting it on makes my brain process countless ginger perfumes. It reminds me of the potent, sharp flanker sport version of Dior Homme with lots of pepper. Soon, with a touch of basil, it becomes transparent, clean, and greeny, like Cerruti Image or Tommy Freedom. But Euphoria takes another path: warmer, woodier, and sweeter, without losing that delicious ginger as the boss. In the dry down, it’s almost identical to sober amber and suede, although I’m not sure how much remains after two hours. I want to try it more; I like it a lot despite its flaws. Like the euphoria itself, it arrives high and quickly becomes absolute nothingness. The performance, indeed, seems laughable.

I see it as a very generic perfume. A medium earthy wood with a touch of pepper. In some phases, it reminds me of Dior Sauvage, but the Dior one is superior. In the range of peppered perfumes, my favourite remains The Beat by Burberry.

I wish it had a better trail… it seems very cosy and balanced with its ginger notes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long.

Suede scent, I didn’t discover it myself, I read it above in the notes and yes, totally on point. A non-pretentious suede, but one that, knowing it carries this aroma, makes you interesting, although it’s a very short-lived show, maximum 4 hours.
