I absolutely loved it; it has excellent fixative qualities and a scent so sweet and sexy; that’s how I would define it, although it brings me memories of Dior Homme Intense.
I tested it on blotter and skin; I liked it more on the blotter. It’s very amber-heavy; I love the base with patchouli and vanilla, although it’s a bit jarring. It reminds me a lot of the base of Dior Homme Intense, so if you’re a fan of that fragrance, you’ll surely like it. It has good longevity and a medium-low trail. You can smell the cinnamon, ginger, and above all the honey. I like it dry, but not enough to buy it. It’s the second Calvin Klein I know of, the other being One. If you like Dior Homme, this is for you.
Smells almost exactly like Dior Homme, but with much more softness.
Smells very similar to Dior Homme, but it is much softer.
Similar opening to Dior Homme Intense, smelling of iris and vetiver which aren’t declared in the list; too soft for me. Longevity and trail are very poor (a quarter of the Dior 1:4). After trying Euphoria Intense, which is an addition to my olfactory palette with an exquisite scent and good trail and projection, this Gold didn’t convince me; I prefer Dior Homme or Euphoria Intense. I would not buy it again. For daily or sport use, it’s very close to the skin, a matter of taste: honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and amber give that sweet touch (mid and base notes) – basil, ginger, lemon, with an iris and vetiver sensation in the opening notes.
Without a doubt, the best in the Euphoria series; you can tell it has character, something the base lacks. The gourmand notes denote an autumn-winter character, with spicy touches where cinnamon-vanilla mixes with an acidic amber (ginger effect), creating a fragrance very effective for those seasons. Its longevity and radiant projection hover around 4 effective hours, fading to skin level near the 6th hour, but with many resurges that for moments become intense and very pleasant for another 4. On clothes, the longevity can be prolonged even further. At times, it reminds me of proposals like Spicebomb, Lacoste Elegance, or One Million. I don’t know if it resembles Dior Homme Intense, but if it does, the excellent value for money of this Euphoria Gold should be a factor to consider.

It has to be vaguely similar to Dior Intense, because anyone who has tried them knows they don’t look alike at all, perhaps a 5% similarity…
Liked it, bought a small bottle at a fair price. It doesn’t smell like Valentino Uomo or any Dior men’s fragrance; to me, it sounds more like The One by D&G. Like that one, Euphoria Gold has a serious, masculine sweetness that suits me well.
I liked it and picked up a small bottle for a good price. It doesn’t smell like Valentino Uomo or any Dior men’s fragrance; it’s closer to D&G The One. Like that, Euphoria Gold leaves a serious, masculine sweetness that suits me perfectly.
This flanker hits harder than the original; the balance is on another level.
This flanker outperforms the original version, with a better balance.
