Descripción
Euphoria Men by Calvin Klein is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2006, this composition was created by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Loc Dong and Jean-Marc Chaillan. Upon release, the scent reveals ginger and pepper; the heart unfolds black basil, sage and cedar; while the base settles on amber, suede, Brazilian red wood and patchouli.

I had this perfume because a friend bought it and then gifted it to me. Thinking that, being by Calvin Klein, it would be good, it’s nothing tremendous. The ginger is very noticeable and I don’t like it, plus it doesn’t last at all and the trail is very low. If you wear it on a hot day it’s almost unbearable.
Another example of Calvin Klein launching ‘perfumed waters’. It smells slightly of ginger tea, some sage, basil and finally a hint of amber. Nothing special… CK has lowered quality far too much. In the 90s their creations were shocking with magnificent trails, none of that now. It seems the magic went with Truth and Craven. I was gifted it; it’s a rich, usable and by no means powerful perfume; very low trail and medium-low longevity.
It reminds me of a cup of chai tea, it feels warm and I can clearly detect ginger and pepper, some basil and a dry-down that’s woody. To my taste it’s pleasant, but it lacks longevity and projection; in my case it only lasted three hours. The first hour had moderate projection, then it went to skin scent. I wouldn’t buy it as, in my country, it’s sold at an excessive price for what it offers.
Smells fresh and sweetly woody; it just lacks projection and longevity.
I have a certain fondness for it as it was the first designer perfume I bought with my own money, a blind purchase that turned out to be a disappointment. It’s a good perfume, it smells nice and I like it, but it leaves a baby powder or freshly bathed scent. Also, its trail is very soft and after two or three hours it’s barely noticeable.
Basil, earth, pepper, ginger. It’s discreet and elegant.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Although the opening scent is very pleasant, I can’t perceive anything else as it feels very skin-scented after half an hour. It’s a very weak perfume in terms of projection and longevity, one of the worst fragrance purchases I’ve made.
Euphoria Men seemed fresh, slightly earthy and subtly spiced. The opening is very pleasant with ginger, pepper and citrus, marine and herbal notes. After a couple of hours, only a fresh sensation remains, with earthy patchouli and timid woods. It brings back memories of Aqua Invictus, a very pleasant scent, although the performance is low; it doesn’t surpass Paco Rabanne. I think it’s better for spring and summer, as it’s light and, while it smells good, I feel it falls short of standing out.
A rich scent but one that doesn’t quite convince me. It’s herbal, earthy, acidic and salty. Quite original, though it reminds me a bit of Dior’s Dune; ultimately it’s a different and delicious proposition. The downside is that, despite lasting a long time, it always clings too much to the body. As a gift, it’s excellent because everyone will like it, or at least it won’t be annoying.
Smells absolutely delicious and very light, with a masculine ginger that blends perfectly with basil to add warmth without being heavy. It’s a lovely, soft scent, although longevity on the skin isn’t its strong point.
Suede scent, I didn’t discover it myself, I read it above in the notes and yes, totally on point. A non-pretentious suede, but one that, knowing it carries this aroma, makes you interesting, although it’s a very short-lived show, maximum 4 hours.
Pleasant and harmless fragrance, perfect for summer office days. The longevity, projection, and trail are quite poor; that’s its main weakness. You have to reapply it if you want it to last the working day. As for the scent, nothing to complain about: very pleasant, pleasing, and harmless, perfect if you want to smell good without drawing attention. Final note: 7/10.
I wish it had a better trail… it seems very cosy and balanced with its ginger notes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long.
Although it’s for men, I think it suits any woman who wants something similar to Euphoria but with a calmer base. It’s also valid for men who can handle a slightly sweet opening. Let no one expect a Truth or an Obsession, because here Calvin Klein didn’t do anything spectacular. Simply put, it’s a good perfume.
I see it as a very generic perfume. A medium earthy wood with a touch of pepper. In some phases, it reminds me of Dior Sauvage, but the Dior one is superior. In the range of peppered perfumes, my favourite remains The Beat by Burberry.
Used it today with 6 sprays and it lasted 5 hours. It doesn’t have a notable trail like others, but I recommend it for close encounters or indoor spaces, perhaps because I wore it at the cinema and then in the car while it was cold. I think these are the best scenarios: cold and enclosed places.
I see no euphoria, no elegance, nor anything smoky like the bottle suggests; it would suit a light purple better. I tried it expecting a fresh spicy scent. Instead, there’s vulgar, macho 90s ginger with a futuristic 2000s aura. I don’t know what CK intended, but I love it despite its wasted potential and poor performance. It gives me the same feeling as City Glam: creamy, glistening, and nocturnal ginger. While Menardo and Cresp nail it, Euphoria falls halfway. Good heavens, so much effort for a bit of ginger and woods. Putting it on makes my brain process countless ginger perfumes. It reminds me of the potent, sharp flanker sport version of Dior Homme with lots of pepper. Soon, with a touch of basil, it becomes transparent, clean, and greeny, like Cerruti Image or Tommy Freedom. But Euphoria takes another path: warmer, woodier, and sweeter, without losing that delicious ginger as the boss. In the dry down, it’s almost identical to sober amber and suede, although I’m not sure how much remains after two hours. I want to try it more; I like it a lot despite its flaws. Like the euphoria itself, it arrives high and quickly becomes absolute nothingness. The performance, indeed, seems laughable.
Rich but weak. Reminds me of Adidas Original for men, but without that clean freshness; more of a cloying fruity vibe. I wouldn’t buy it if Adidas or other identical options already exist. For such a plain and simple scent, it’s not worth the price they ask for this Euphoria.
Euphoria Men is just another sweet summer scent, on par with Tommy or Versace. Probably reformulated like its feminine counterpart. If it’s hot and humid, it’s worth it for the price and versatility, though Eternity Flame wins on performance for the same money. It’s a classic with its audience: harmless but usable. Vibrant ginger and pepper top notes open into a green heart with sage and cedar, leading to a creamy base with patchouli, cedarwood, and suede. A fresh and tempting oriental. CK is great at the start but vanishes in an hour, just like Obsession. A good gift option.
This has nothing to do with what this perfume was like in the late 2000s; back then it was very pleasant and lasted for real.
Agree with those who said it already: very poor performance, barely two hours before it fades to skin scent. Notes of ginger and pepper at first, but the rest is dull. So many expectations for something so bland and generic.
Generic smell, weak and very synthetic. I wouldn’t recommend it for fun, and it has nothing to do with the other Calvin Klein perfumes.
Soft, floral and sweet, perfect for romantic dates or those quarantine days. That soft, addictive sage mixed with ginger makes it subtle yet highly desirable. It gives a sense of cleanliness and freshness, generates compliments, and in spring-summer it works brilliantly. For those over 25, ideal for office, casual outings and a bit of intimacy. If you’re looking for something fresh, soft and with a sweet touch, this is your option: it improves with time and leaves a sense of well-being.
Lasts a mere breath on the skin; half an hour and it’s gone. What a pity, because the scent is very good.
MYSTICAL AURA: Spicy, floral and aromatic scent, almost unisex. If you smell Euphoria for women, you’ll see they follow the same path: spicy and intense at first. The pepper and ginger open with power, but it’s not fresh; rather, it’s warm, dry, with a well-balanced sweetness. Then comes the sage and cedar, enhancing that aromatic character; the amber is barely noticeable and the patchouli is discreet, so what dominates is the spicy and sweet. The fixative is decent, though on my skin it degrades quickly (lasts about 5 hours on clothes). It’s sober, makes no fuss, perfect for day or night, but better under 27 degrees. Ideal for office or casual wear, with that urban and bohemian air of an afternoon tea at dusk. Suits people aged 25 to 40. I’ve had it for four years and I’m on my second bottle. Apply 6 or 8 sprays to distribute the intensity. Fixative: 7.5. Sillage: medium. Intensity: medium.
Attempts to copy Versace Pour Homme but doesn’t even come halfway. Still, it’s a good scent in its own right.
Nice scent, but unfortunately it vanishes in the blink of an eye on the skin. Ideal for spring and summer; I recommend it despite that.
Dries almost identical to Dior Sauvage EDT (95% certain). I was so hooked that it’s already my second purchase; I also own the EDT and Very Cool.
If you catch it on offer, it’s a real treat: soft, pleasant, with that modern spicy touch that goes from day to night without any issues.
Top scent for when you need to dress to the nines.
This fragrance is delicious, modern, and masculine. I love it for its rich woody notes. It used to be a bomb, and I don’t know how the new presentations are. I remember the women’s version was used by my mum; it was also very pleasant and striking, just like the men’s. It’s a good blind buy.
It was one of the first three perfumes I bought; I started with this last year and can only say it was a waste of money. It doesn’t last, doesn’t smell, and when it does smell, the scent isn’t pleasant. Honestly, I wouldn’t buy it again nor recommend it to anyone.
Very good fragrance… honestly, I don’t understand why some dislike it. I’d like to think it’s not their preference, but in general it’s very good and lasts well on my skin and clothes.
I don’t know why I never paid attention to this Euphoria Men. It’s been a long time since a fragrance made me fall in love within the first few seconds of spraying it; Euphoria has a soft and elegant wood opening combined with an aromatic green, perhaps basil and pepper, all over a subtle suede that accompanies and rounds off the combination for the first 20–25 minutes. Afterwards, it loses its aromatic style and remains as a dry, linear wood, perceptible only up close for about 4 hours. I would have loved for the opening to last a bit longer, maybe an hour; that would have been enough for me to buy it as it’s quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, it suffers too much in longevity and projection. Euphoria Men had all the potential to be a good signature scent, elegant, classic, and formal, but it falls halfway.
A unique and delicious composition upon application, with a beautiful bottle presentation and a good atomiser, but with very low longevity and projection, something common in CK fragrances. It’s an excellent fragrance for all occasions, but very fleeting.
I have very fond memories of CK Euphoria Men; I owned it 16 years ago. It was the second fragrance I bought and I used it all while visiting my first girlfriend at her place. What times those were; it smelled very good for the era. Unfortunately, the relationship ended and I never bought it again to avoid remembering her.
It’s a noble perfume, smells good, but the longevity and projection are poor. I use it for the gym or when staying at home.
I tried Euphoria Men and found it very well balanced between fresh and sensual. The opening is clean, with ginger and pepper giving it a spicy and appealing touch. As it evolves, it becomes warmer and woodier thanks to the cedar and patchouli, remaining masculine and elegant. Its sophisticated yet easy-to-wear vibe stands out, ideal for day and night. In terms of longevity, on my skin it reaches 4–5 hours with moderate projection, perfect for not being intrusive. In summary, it’s versatile, modern, and seductive, works for various occasions, and always leaves a good impression.
A fragrance I like, though I find it a bit weak. It conveys cleanliness and is easy to wear, perfect for daily use or the office in temperate climates. The opening is fresh and spiced, with ginger and pepper marking a clean and elegant start. Then comes an herbal and woody base where sage and cedar stand out; I don’t notice much basil, but it surely adds that green nuance that balances everything. As it dries down, it gains warmth from the amber and a suede touch that softens the scent. The issue is the performance: on my skin it fades quickly, barely noticeable after a few hours. It lasts about 5–6 hours with poor projection and a close sillage. Fresh, versatile, and classy, but it lacks presence. Rating: 6.5/10.
I love how the notes are assembled; it smells like an olfactory experiment and every spray leaves me euphoric—it’s addictive. It has aquatic and fresh touches at first, which then give way to a dry, spiced, and very skin-scented aroma. Ideal for the office as it’s soft and balanced. Also, Euphoria reminds me of the purple and violet tones of the liquid and the box, very sensual.
