Descripción
CK One Essence by Calvin Klein is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2024, is a new interpretation of the iconic CK One line. The nose behind this composition is Alberto Morillas. The top notes unfold white tea, bergamot, blood orange, and black pepper; the heart reveals green tea, mint, and geranium; while the base notes settle on musk, Australian sandalwood, incense, and moss.

Tested at ECI, scent similar to CK One and similar longevity, fresh and summery, but I don’t understand this line; they all smell clean with practically no variations; you smell one and you’ve smelled them all.
I was given a sample to try yesterday at a shopping centre on blotter and skin. A disaster, identical to the original CK One. I imagined something novel from the bottle, but nothing of the sort. Performance and trail are non-existent. Don’t bother buying it.
They let me try it yesterday at a shopping centre, on blotter and on my wrist. A disaster, identical to the original CK One. Based on the bottle, I imagined something novel, but nothing like that. Performance and trail are non-existent. Don’t bother buying it.
In the opening, it follows the CK One line. After a few minutes, it’s identical to Dior Homme Sport (2012-2017), a fragrance I’ve owned for some time in different batches. It’s nothing new, average longevity, but easy to wear, ideal for hot climates.
I’ve always liked CK One. It’s a fragrance that always suits, giving a freshly showered and fresh feeling; I love smelling it on others, but personally, I was bothered by a very sharp note that didn’t convince me. But here comes this wonder, which feels the same, lasts longer, and suits me better. If you don’t like the classic, don’t bother spending money. But if you like it and it’s a fragrance you can’t do without, give it a chance.
Far from being dreadful, it’s simply a correct fragrance. I would buy it, but not at that price; I believe at that price (which isn’t too high) there are better options following the same line but with better performance.
In the opening, its bergamot and white tea notes perfectly emulate the scent of Mexican sweet lime (which isn’t known in Spain); it’s not lemon or yellow lemon, but a fruit you eat, almost exclusive to Mexico, very sweet and soft. Then it shifts to something similar to Creed Sillage (though I don’t know Smw) but softer, more agreeable, and wearable. I own Creed Sillage and don’t particularly like it; in contrast, I liked this one more. If I had known, I would have bought this instead of the other. As for longevity… it’s a CK One, so you can’t expect anything else they haven’t demonstrated year after year; the performance is equal to any other CK One, but I think it’s worth it. P.S.: DO NOT BUY BLIND unless you know the scent of Creed Sillage.
Smells almost identical to L’eau d’Issey, just a touch sweeter. It’s pleasant, but nothing new or groundbreaking to make you say wow. Reliable and ready to go.
Initially smells of lemon and roses, a quirky combination that reminds me of my grandmother’s perfumes or relaxation, but within minutes it evolves significantly, resembling YSL yet with a more citrusy edge. I absolutely loved it; I received countless compliments even in the heat. It has a great trail and good longevity, though I still prefer 9 AM because its sweet note gives it that extra something.
It’s not crazy, but it’s very pleasant to wear straight out of the shower; that citrus and fresh point gives energy and joy. The longevity is what it is, but I don’t think you can ask for much more from this type of perfume.

Clean and soapy perfume that everyone likes, with greater longevity than the original and a quite similar scent. It’s a fragrance that has been selling for 30 years with a bit more longevity, so it can’t be bad. I use it for work and daily wear; people say it smells good, projects well (on my skin) for the first hour, and then shortens. It’s not a beast, nor does it want to pretend to be one, and it serves what it serves: a casual outing, lunch or dinner with friends, going to work, etc. For daily use perfume, it fulfils and exceeds expectations. Everyone likes it, can be used as a daily fragrance, and is economical. You can’t ask for more for less money, perfect for the hot times to come. EDIT: After using it for almost a year, I confirm all the above, and it’s also the daily fragrance that receives the most compliments from the female sex (and I do rotate with fragrances worth three or four times as much). Often in the simplest and simplest lies the virtue, and in this Morillas is rarely wrong.

I tried it and loved it. In secondary school I used the famous It’s You Live magazine perfume, and this reminded me of its notes.
CK One Essence is a successful update of the original: less projecting at first, slightly denser, and more long-lasting. You have to note that much, I detect 90% similarity, which is appreciated. Very clean. Timeless, general taste, serene, harmless, daytime, fresh. Ones that bring back memories. It lasts well over 5 hours with a stable bubble. Apply without fear. With heat, it gives off soft but perceptible bursts. I like it very much: it’s one of those all-terrain, simple, and classic profiles that you must have. Infallible. You don’t always have to complicate things; the wheel has been invented.
CK One Essence is an updated version of the original, less aggressive at first, slightly denser, and with better longevity. You have to apply it generously because the 90% of it smells the same, which is a plus. It smells very clean, timeless, universally appealing, serene, harmless, perfect for daytime, and fresh. I love it: it’s one of those all-rounder, simple, classic perfumes you need to own. Infallible. Sometimes you don’t need to complicate things; the wheel has already been invented.
I just bought it and the aroma is super citrusy and clean, smelling strongly of orange and bergamot. I loved the scent and my girlfriend was fascinated by it. Highly recommended for everyday wear on a hot afternoon. I haven’t smelled the original One, but I think this is an excellent option. That said, you need to spray generously, without fear, to make it last all afternoon. It’s not a perfume that projects metres away; on the contrary, it’s more like a personal bubble, but if people get close, they clearly perceive the scent. It lasted easily 4-5 hours with good application.
I love it! Fresh, enveloping, and clean. My skin begs for CK; they are my favourites.
A savoury freshness of citrus tea and herbs that evolves into a lovely herbal soap foam. It’s a sparkling, rich freshness, full of nuances, and it’s a joy to see that current trends sometimes lean towards the flat. Everything converges in a typically masculine aura, elegant yet close, relaxed and familiar. The herbal interplay of tea and spices gives it great charm and luminosity. I find almost no resemblance to the classic CK One; a very distant kinship, but they are totally different dialects with distinct presences. A herbal, spiced, citrus, fresh, sparkling, and refreshing cocktail. The tonic of CK.

It’s a joy to see that current trends sometimes lean towards the flat and monotonous. Everything converges into a typically masculine aura, elegant and close, carefree and familiar. Another gem from master Alberto Morillas, certainly worth having in your collection. It has a very citrusy opening, something only he knows how to do. Although the opening is very expressive, as it dries down it becomes more herbal, with notes that in my opinion bear a strong resemblance to White Tea, balanced with a musk that makes it more unisex. It’s a quite fulfilling fragrance; on my skin it lasts comfortably for 7 hours, staying close to the skin. In short, it can be a blind buy without any fuss.
On first sniff, I automatically thought of Creed Silver Mountain Water. This perfume was inspired by it, albeit not discreetly. It’s a blend between the original CK and that Creed. Very rich, very fresh, highly recommended.
I thought it would just be a scent, but it smells ozonic mixed with blood orange, reminiscent of Boss Bottled United in the silver bottle. This is much more energetic, fresh, and audacious; you can really feel the Australian sandalwood in the fragrance.
It follows in the footsteps of the classic CK One but improves its longevity and trail. At the opening, it seems like a more unisex-feminine fragrance; the floral notes are noticeable. Although it is not declared, I sensed a jasmine (I read that white tea has a similarity to that flower). A few minutes later, the trumpet musk appears and changes the scent. Personally, I adore this perfume; I am a fan of this type of fragrance and I think if you like CK One-style perfumes, you should at least give it a try.
I absolutely love this perfume; it is truly exquisite, clean, super fresh, and citrusy with a spiced base that makes it perfect for heat and any season or weather.
Just arrived and freshly tested, so I cannot comment on performance yet, but you can already tell it lasts longer than the classic One. Very rich and citrusy at the opening, which is where it resembles the One the most. In the heart, I detect the ever-present bergamot with geranium, mint, and pepper, while moss and incense are quite noticeable in the base. I would say it is unisex or masculine due to the mint and incense. I liked it very much at first.
While it has a summery night profile due to the pepper and incense, its light consistency allows it to be worn during the day in spring and summer. It fades with the cold, so I don’t think it is versatile enough for daily wear. Compared to the traditional CK One, this flanker has greater projection and longevity for the first two hours, staying close to the skin until the sixth hour when it disappears.
Smells rich and lasts longer than the original CK One.
As with everything by Alberto Morillas, strong in the mid-stage, it never fails; an extremely summery, sexy, fresh and winning aroma. Spectacular opening, beautiful dry-down, acceptable longevity, about five to six hours in my case, projects very well for an hour and a half. Excellent price, what more could one ask? Not all fragrances have that. Lasting a thousand hours to be good is exaggerating. 10/10. Note: I still stick with the original if I have to choose one, but this is a marvel.
An explosion of tea. It’s the dominant note from start to finish. Fresh, slightly citrusy and soapy. It can be a bit overwhelming at first if you spray several times near the face. Longevity is moderate, I’d say around four hours, though close to the skin it might last a little longer. Very pleasant for after a shower. More suited to spring/summer, but can be worn perfectly all year round.
100% feminine perfume. A few minutes after applying it, it sticks to the skin with a scent similar to makeup. The worst blind buy I’ve ever made.
Disappointing, but given it’s CK, one might expect that. As it was an EDP and promised longevity, I at least bought a second-hand bottle at half price so the clove doesn’t hurt quite so much. In Argentina, I wouldn’t recommend it; it’s over $130. It’s barely noticeable once applied and fades to the skin quickly; the longevity is impossible to judge because it sits so close to the skin. If you’re looking for something intimate, it could work. It wasn’t particularly hot when I bought it, we were at 22 degrees, perhaps it performs better at higher temperatures. It’s now macerated, I have half left, and it’s been in use for at least six months. I don’t know why I keep insisting on spending money on this brand; the fault lies with Master Morillas, who tempts me to try his creations.
A 100% feminine fragrance. A few minutes after application, it settles close to the skin with a scent similar to makeup. The worst blind purchase I’ve ever made.
Very pleasant and long-lasting; it lasts me about six or seven hours, noticeable without needing to trail. Suitable for everything except winter, good for day and night.
