I went to the shopping centre with my mum and the sample on the card smelled lovely. We’ll see how long it lasts, as I need strong perfumes because my mood is quite intense. My mother absolutely adored the scent.
HIGHLY OVERHYPED! A great disappointment to find it doesn’t last more than an hour. It doesn’t linger on clothes or skin… a total failure! It smells nice but is useless for anything. I’m wearing it today to take out the rubbish or go to the gym, but not for going out partying, as it barely lasts an hour.
The bottle is very pretty and unique. The opening pleased me, sweet yet slightly soapy, with a sage base that gives a faint tingling sensation. There was a transition towards the end that reminded me of One Red Edition for men. I thought it would be good, but in the middle phase the florals are too heavy and the base supports them, so the dry down smells sweet and feminine. I don’t like it for men, but it could be brilliant on a woman. I think CK2 is better executed as a unisex scent.
The longevity isn’t long a maximum of about three hours. But yes I love everything about it. After being disappointed by CK2 which I wanted to own for the merchandise I went to try it and ran away because it smells like a man’s scent although it is very original. Finding another fragrance from Calvin Klein didn’t appeal to me much but trying it… I LOVE IT! I see it more as a woman’s scent due to its floral touches but I also see it on a man. The packaging is gorgeous (although for me the Trésor La Nuit by Lancôme is the best). It is the first eau de toilette from a reputable brand that I own and I think its short longevity is the only thing I don’t like. I adore all its notes and people ask me what I’m wearing. I was hoping it would be unisex. It is perfect for daywear summer and spring.
The longevity isn’t long, maybe 3 hours at most, but everything else I love. After being disappointed with CK2, which I was eagerly awaiting due to the merchandising but ran away from upon trying it because of its very masculine scent, I found something new that I absolutely adore. I see it as more of a woman’s fragrance due to the floral notes, but it’s clear a man would wear it too. The packaging is beautiful, though nothing beats the Trésor La Nuit bottle for me. It’s the first good-brand eau de toilette I own, and I think its longevity is the only thing I don’t like; a pity they don’t make eau de parfum versions of everything. I love all the notes and people ask me what I’m wearing. I was hoping it would be unisex, I don’t know why. It’s perfect for daywear, summer and spring.
Far from the original’s green floral notes, this opens with a modern, liquorish scent thanks to the fig and sage; it’s the most interesting phase, though it fades quickly and leaves little trace of wood or flower to round it off. The bottle is striking and continues the unisex line of previous releases.
Far from resembling the original One this smells modern. The opening is liquorish due to the fig and sage blend which is the most interesting part though it is so fleeting that I barely recall the woody and floral nuances that round it off. The bottle is striking and maintains the unisex trend of the previous ones One and Be.
It has a note that doesn’t quite convince me. Furthermore, the longevity is ridiculous. After half an hour, you don’t even know what cologne you put on.
When I applied it, it reminded me of Versace Eros. When a brand succeeds, the rest follow without any creative effort. It’s a shame so few houses continue to promote originality; that’s what fragrance lovers expect: to be surprised with beautiful new creations.
I agree with almost all the comments. The bottle is gorgeous and the projection is incredible, but the great disappointment is that it lasts only one to two hours. You barely notice you’re wearing it even when you smell it. I adore Calvin Klein, but less and less due to its poor longevity. What a pity, considering how pleasant it smells.
I agree with everyone: the bottle is gorgeous and the projection is wonderful, but the great disappointment is that it lasts only one or two hours, and even when you smell yourself, you don’t realise what you’re wearing. I adore Calvin Klein, but I’m starting to notice their longevity is very poor; a shame with such a pleasant scent.
I completely agree with the girl who wrote before; she said exactly what I was going to say.
I fully agree with the reviewer who posted before me; they’ve taken the words right out of my mouth.
Lasted over four hours, but the trail is sticky and overly synthetic. Smells of violet and fig with a woody note, yet everything feels artificial and watery. It leaves no lasting impression, like freshly washed perfume, making it suitable only for summer. The only standout is the bottle, which is super generic. Tried it on my boyfriend and the scent changed completely on men’s skin.
CK One Gold is the flanker No. 25 of the original, good for simple things like going to the supermarket, walking or after a bath if you don’t want something heavy. The longevity is minimal, about an hour; it stays right next to the skin for about three hours, but its opening is special due to the fig note. I see it as unisex, slightly feminine. If you can get it in an outlet or on discount (it cost me 650 pesos) it was fine, but I would never have bought it in a department store. The only thing that stands out is the bottle, but it’s a cologne, not an EDT. Only the bergamot, fig, sage and some woods are noticeable. In conclusion, it’s not much of a thing. 6/10
What can I say? I read the reviews and trusted them because my skin usually holds this type of fragrance well, but I discovered it’s true: it doesn’t last more than three hours. What a shame because it smells delicious, it’s super unisex, smelling of a men’s cologne but evolving very delicately into woody notes. It would be splendid if it lasted longer.
What can I say, I read the reviews and had faith because my pH holds onto this type of fragrance well. I discovered it’s true; it doesn’t last more than 3 hours :'( and what a shame because it smells delicately. It’s super unisex, smells like a men’s cologne but evolves very delicately into woods. It would be splendid if it lasted. Haha.
I haven’t tried it yet and I’m sure it smells scandalous, but most CK scents smell good. The problem is that all of them, absolutely all, have a very weak sillage; they don’t last, they stay right next to the skin. So I won’t buy again unless it’s a bargain.
CK One Gold was what I wanted for the bottle, but I never bought it due to the short longevity and sillage. It’s very light, like all Calvin Klein fragrances, perhaps the lightest. The fig note is the best I’ve smelled in a long time; the others seemed dry or cloying. Here it smells sweet, mixed with bergamot and neroli. It lasts a scant two hours and the sillage is very weak; unless you spray at least 10 times you won’t notice it, and even then. It’s more for the eyes than the nose.
I was given this bottle by a very dear person who matches perfectly with the delicate and exquisite notes of this perfume.
I liked the aroma; it smells like soft fig with a lovely floral touch. It’s like the soft CK scents and doesn’t go beyond that. If it were stronger it would be a proper perfume, but it’s super soft, almost imperceptible.
I don’t know what’s going on, but it can’t last 20 minutes 😡, don’t even think about buying it…
I don’t know what’s going on, but it can’t last twenty minutes, how infuriating! Don’t even think about buying it if you expect it to last.
The perfume claims to be unisex, but on my skin it feels thoroughly masculine, very strong and very woody. I didn’t like the scent and it doesn’t last at all on the skin.
It says it’s unisex, but on my skin it smells super masculine, strong and very woody. I didn’t like the scent and it doesn’t last at all on the skin.
It lasts about 40 minutes and then disappears from my skin after an hour and a half. I wear it on my clothes to make it last a bit longer. It’s soft, ideal for after a bath, reading, studying or playing at home. It feels a little feminine. If it lasted longer and projected more, it would be a real hit.
CK One Gold is very soft, fruity and citrusy; it smells like sweet gold, similar to One Million, but this one is more caramelised. The downside is it doesn’t last; it fades within an hour.
