  • It smells very masculine and is exquisite, of high quality. Notes of aromatic woods with a floral and orange touch. It relates to the marine, ideal for certain seasons or occasions. Although it’s not super fresh, it suits it better that way, but it’s so beautiful it works for everything. At first, it seems like other perfumes; it’s not innovative, but the trail has a different base that makes it special.

  • I tried it on my hand at the Ferragamo boutique on Paseo de Gracia and loved it. Years later, I bought the bottle. It’s the DNA of Acqua di Gio in a premium version, with rounder, creamier, and floral ingredients. It remains masculine but leans towards unisex. Among the flankers, the closest is Profumo Nero, but without that dry chemical smell of the Armani; it keeps the aquatic and citrus notes throughout, with a creamy, clean touch that makes it prettier than the legendary ADG. It used to come in 75ml EDT, now it’s 100ml EDP. The packaging is stunning, from the box to the leather bottle and spray; I think it deserves half the boutique price of 250€, which is the online cost. It’s for all seasons, day and night, everyone likes it, and it never disappoints.

I agree with vitodito; it’s a super-refined version of Aqua di Gio. Super fresh, with lots of bergamot and acidic lime, and good longevity.

  • I bought this blind today, trusting the reviews, and to be honest, it doesn’t smell like an ADG niche. I agree with Crisdaj about the marine notes, but I don’t see it as masculine; it’s more unisex with a slightly feminine edge. Initially, the lime and bergamot pop, but soon the jasmine and musk take over; I didn’t detect any cedar, vetiver, or patchouli. It’s a very subtle scent; on my combination skin, it’s barely noticeable, almost skin-scent. Between La Commedia, Terra Rossa, Vendemmia, and this Punta Ala, the latter has been a disappointment.
