From the initial spark of bergamot and lemon, with that saffron adding an exotic, sticky touch, things get interesting: fresh yet fiery. The heart maintains the tension with black pepper and nutmeg, blended with sage and cedar. Then comes the finish, powerful and characterful: dark leather and animalic notes, wrapped in creamy sandalwood, tobacco, and patchouli. It’s for people who don’t seek to please but to mark their territory. Ideal for intense, free spirits. If it were music, it would be that Verdi prelude, tense yet noble; if jazz, Paolo Fresu’s trumpet with Omar Sosa. In colour, it’s toasted leather with smoke and its own life.

From the initial spark of bergamot and lemon, with that saffron that gives it an exotic and sticky touch, things get interesting: fresh but with fire. The heart maintains the tension with black pepper and nutmeg, mixed with sage and cedar. Then comes the dry-down, powerful and characterful: dark, animalic leather, wrapped in creamy sandalwood, tobacco and patchouli. It is for people who do not seek to please but to mark territory. To be honest, this fragrance has exceeded my expectations. I’m not a fan of YouTubers, but Spicy Leather is a discovery worth buying. As the name suggests, it’s spices and leather: a beautiful leather with a spicy touch from the start. The opening, with saffron, citrus, and a hint of vanilla, is vintage and elegant. It’s of a classic, masculine cut. Over time, the leather dominates and the spices shift, ending in a very subtle sweetness, no exaggerated vanilla, but something serene that adds class. I’ve loved it so much that I recommend it. It lasts well, projects nicely without being invasive. It’s masculine, mature, perfect for cold weather, elegant and versatile. No surprises; they’ve made a ten-out-of-ten scent, including the price.

Stylish perfume, well-made, spicy leather, fresh, nocturnal and modern. It doesn’t smell like the typical leather you’ve heard a thousand times in pure leather fragrances, nor the light designer leathers. Watch out, it’s that Italian wet leather from the entire Ferragamo Leather line. It’s versatile and enjoyable. A mature, elegant aroma, without niche obscurities or challenges. Although it’s not a longevity bomb, it will accompany you for 6-7 hours without issues. It has a ‘sigma male’ vibe, slightly rogue, charismatic and thoroughly experienced. It asks for night and carries treachery. It goes great with a cool ambient temperature. Store it in the box if it’s over 30°C for up to 5 months. One of the best in the Ferragamo Leather saga. Worth it for the scent and quality, plus it’s a leather scent that isn’t overdone.

Ferragamo Spicy Leather is spicy, leathery and woody. The citrus opening is fleeting, lasting about five minutes, but from the start you can tell how spicy and leathery it is. Over time, the scent becomes more spicy and leathery, with cinnamon, saffron and nutmeg notes. It doesn’t change much in its development: it’s dry, woody, pleasant and elegant. It’s perfect for fresh months, autumn and winter, special occasions or work, because although it’s spicy, it’s not invasive. Longevity has been good; it lasted me longer than others in the line, almost 12 hours, but the trail is short: the first hour is noticeable and then it drops close to the skin. After trying the entire Ferragamo Leather line, I think this is the one I liked the most, the most mature and elegant, although it’s not the most versatile. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly, unless you like fragrances in the style of Bvlgari Man in Black or The One for Men.
