Descripción
Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Urban Feel is a woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by Marie Salamagne and Alberto Morillas. The top notes reveal bergamot, ozonic notes, helichrysum and coffee; the heart unfolds pieces of driftwood, cedar and cumin; while the base notes complete the structure with ambroxan, incense, patchouli and labdanum.

They say it’s coming in June, but nothing has arrived in Valencia yet. I hope it’s not just another tougher blue from the ones Morillas is releasing now. The Uomo line needs something more surprising, because so far there’s little substance and high prices. In general, I don’t like much the Ferragamo line reworked by Morillas: too gourmand, scarce trails, and doubtful longevity. Alberto has much better things.
In my area, we were eagerly awaiting the arrival of this perfume. Perhaps Ferragamo isn’t as popular in the perfumery world, but here in Chile it has done well, especially the Uomo line. This new male flanker arrives alongside Signorina Ribelle. A criticism for fragrantica.es: they don’t have this fragrance, nor the latest ones from Carrera Jeans or Gap. The Spanish information needs updating, as it is the encyclopedia of perfumery. Urban Feel is excellent: it opens very naturally, with ozonic notes, a breeze of clary sage, and bergamot with a spicy touch that lingers on the dry down and skin. Then woods emerge with a slight cumin that gives it a virile character, moving away from the typical linear aldehydic scent like Aqua di Gio. I can’t appreciate the base notes except for the galbanum at the very end. On my skin, it lasted about 7 hours, reminiscent of Aqua di Gio Essenza. Rating 7 for longevity and projection. Another great success from Morillas.
I bought it a month ago and then a decant of Office by Jeremy. Comparing the two, they are only similar in the opening; a few minutes in, each goes its own way. IMO.
Uomo Urban Feel is a pleasant, casual, and urban aromatic woody fragrance. It opens fresh with citrus and herbal notes, soon shifting to a woody and amber sensation (ambroxan). I read it’s similar to Dior’s Sauvage; structurally they are alike, but while Sauvage has a spicy touch, this smells more like a forest. They share the citrus and amber feel. It smells good and is multi-seasonal, ideal for spring, summer, and autumn, and for any age in informal situations. Longevity is regular, about 6 to 7 hours. The bottle, with that blue, looks very pretty.
Morillas is a genius; he sold the same scent to Jeremy and Ferragamo in the same year. Aside from the fact that he tends to make easy perfumes for pre-pubes (though he has good work at Gucci), it starts out generic, like Sauvage or Aventus with bergamot. Upon analysis, it gains character with a green and floral spark that clicks, creating a natural bitter contrast. The problem is that note disappears quickly and there are many similar fragrances. Of all of them, this is the one I like most so far. It happens with Armani’s AdG: it’s generic and over-saturated, but it has something that makes those woods special. I’ve tried Jeremy’s Office and it’s damn similar, but with better performance. Paying Salvatore’s price for something that doesn’t last hurts, and over €150 for a generic fragrance costs me more, even if it works well.
Another disappointment from Morillas. They usually release modified fragrances with a striking opening that fades quickly but sells well; here, there isn’t even that. I detect no citrus or fruity notes at all, just something chemical, faint, and somewhere between amber and woody. The trail and longevity are worse than mediocre. If it’s the same as Jeremy’s Office for Men, it’s a scam to sell such a scent for €160. I expected little and found far less. Infamous.
Another utter disgrace from Mr Morillas. I can’t believe it. He usually releases 1 or 2 perfumes a month, tweaking existing formulas with a striking launch that lasts 5 minutes and delivers the hook, prompting a purchase. Here, there’s none of that. I’ve been unable to detect any citrus, nothing fruity, or anything interesting at any point. All I smell is an ultra-chemical, hard-to-describe thing, somewhere between amber and woody, which I interpret as ambroxan (go figure), all very faint and timid. Nothing else to report. On top of that, sillage and longevity are inferior to mediocre. If it’s true that it’s very similar to Jeremy’s Office for Men, we could be talking about one of the biggest scams in perfumery. Selling a scent like this for €160 is laughable. I expected little and found much less. Rating: Infamous.
Ferragamo have launched a perfume that smells fantastic, but its performance on my skin is extremely weak. I wish that fresh blend of amber and citrus would last longer and have more punch.
Disappointment. The scent isn’t bad, but the projection and longevity are non-existent; it doesn’t even last on the skin. I feel cheated, robbed, deceived. Disappointed with Ferragamo, not so much with Morrillas, because the latter creates the scent but isn’t to blame for the lack of longevity. As for the manufacturing, it’s not his fault that they dilute the original formula he presented.
I find it a fitting, functional, and crowd-pleasing scent. It offers nothing complex… it adds to the Blue line of men’s perfumery without bringing anything new. It’s an ambroxan blue scent, but here the ambroxan is more subtle and better constructed, not the kind that irritates the nose. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. It reminds me of Versace Dylan Blue, but in a more citrusy and aquatic version. What I must highlight as a negative point is its very poor performance. Longevity and trail are non-existent. Rating: Scent 6/10 Longevity 4/10 Projection 4/10 Price 4/10.
It has similarities with Office for Men, just a bit sweeter. A good perfume, made to please. No wonder Alberto Morrillas is the nose behind this.

I can say my wife loves it and it’s very versatile. Today I wore it at 33 degrees and its performance was notable. A 10 out of 10 perfume for longevity, trail, and scent.
Fresh and long-lasting, though linear and unsurprising. The ambroxan and wood notes create a cordial harmony, nothing invasive. Perfect for summer. Lasts more than 4 or 5 hours, then fades to skin scent. It doesn’t bother anyone. It’s made to please the masses; I’d call it ordinary.
Rating: Scent 10/10 Longevity 9/10 Projection 9/10 Price 5/10. For me, it always generates compliments on dates, events, or work. In sports, it’s another level, wow, everyone loves it hehe. It’s very friendly on any skin type.
I admit it shares that ambroxan-aquatic DNA with Jeremy’s Office, but this Ferragamo feels lower quality; Jeremy’s is deeper, cleaner, with superior sillage and longevity. Still, it remains a great option for casual outings, as the name suggests. It’s a sporty, informal fragrance perfect for short, one-off events. I tested it for the first session of a summer party and the experience was very positive. Performance is acceptable for the first hour, but from the second onwards it fades to skin-level, needing body movement (dancing) to reactivate it. A good choice for spring-summer if you’re unsure what to wear. At €10, I can’t ask for more.

Horrible. I bought it blind and I totally regret it. It smells like VapoRub.
Nothing special; it smells nice but doesn’t stand out. You can find much better options for less money.
I always get compliments, like ‘you smell so good, it reaches this far’. For the first three hours, it projects like a beast, but by six hours it’s just skin scent. Not my favourite, but definitely the king of compliments in the collection.
