To be honest, when I saw it in the catalogue it didn’t catch my eye at all, but I ordered a sample just in case. It’s sweet, yet smells like things I already know, lacking real personality; it hasn’t won me over and I don’t see it in my collection. The yoghurt note is creamy and vanilla-like, though many say it smells identical to the original Far Away, I don’t notice that; for me, it has less of a hook. I admit that the original Far Away, although not my favourite, stands out in the Avon line, is cult status and almost a classic, which is why people ask for it. It’s not a blind buy; if you have the chance, get a sample and draw your own conclusions. The truth is, I doubt it will become my favourite perfume from the Far Away family. One more thing: on my skin it didn’t last long and projects nothing. Pass.

It’s almost the most childish version of Beyond. Imagine the girl who would wear Far Away Beyond at just 13 years old. It’s very juvenile, and as an adult fragrance, it simply doesn’t work for me. It smells like you’ve put milk on gummy sweets.

If you love Belle-style perfumes with very distinct notes—aquatic, vanilla, spicy, and super sweet—this is for you. It’s not a dupe for Belle, but it follows the same style. On my skin, the Aurora left a lovely trail with excellent longevity.
