I love Haiku, it’s a very fresh scent. It’s uplifting and perfect to revive the spirit on a gloomy day. It starts citrusy, slightly floral, and then the drydown is a magical green/woody scent. It smells like a sea breeze that has passed through the woods and gently touched some flowers along the way. A very green scent that often changes. I imagine using it while riding a bicycle or on a boat, feeling as if the notes increase pleasantly.
I tried it attracted by the name and the promise of something green and floral. It didn’t seduce me at first and disappointed me in the end, because the initial scent, a bit acrid but pleasant, dissipated very quickly. Besides, that perfume lacks neither the depth nor the expressiveness of a haiku.
Avon hardly manages to surprise me with their fragrances, either because they smell very synthetic or due to their poor longevity… To be honest, I don’t have a good impression of Avon. But Haiku is one of the few from that franchise that lasts on me, and it doesn’t smell harsh or artificial. It’s my favourite for those days when I don’t want to draw much attention. I only wear it with the cream and that’s it. I perceive it as floral, citrusy, delicate and soft. It’s not meant to make an impact, it’s for a simple and casual day. Or to sleep, I wear it for that, as its scent is very sweet. But recently I found out they discontinued it. Well, at least it won’t be a loss hard to overcome.
Avon rarely leaves me speechless, whether it smells of plastic or lasts a mere breath… To be honest, the brand doesn’t hold much appeal for me. However, Haiku is one of the few that lingers on my skin without that cheap soapy or synthetic scent. It’s my favourite for days when I don’t want to be the centre of attention. I just apply it with my moisturiser and I’m good to go. I perceive it as floral, citrusy, delicate and soft. It’s not designed to make an impact; it’s perfect for a simple, casual day. Or for sleeping; I wear it to bed because it smells so tender. Sadly, I recently heard they’ve stopped selling it. Well, at least it won’t be a difficult mourning to overcome.
I bought it blind. I was drawn to the packaging and thought it would be very fresh, and I wasn’t wrong! It feels fresh; I smell Japanese citrus (it sounds more like lemon to me, but a lovely one), it smells a little like CK One, but only a little, and I absolutely love it. I recommend it for daytime and daily wear; of course, if you apply body lotion, the scent will be much better. In my opinion, it’s 100% recommended if you like fresh and zesty but pleasant scents. I think any woman can wear it; I gave it to my aunt and she loved it too. Best wishes!
I bought it blind. I was attracted by its style, thought it would be very fresh and I wasn’t wrong! It feels fresh, I perceive Japanese citrus (to me it sounds more like lemon but lovely), smells a bit like CK One, but very little and I like it a lot. They haven’t discontinued it yet and I keep buying it for its fresh and sweet fragrance, so rich and lovely for summer. It has good projection and longevity; it’s a tender and pleasant scent that goes down well, simple and not as artificial as others from the brand. It doesn’t hit hard but cheers you up, giving a sense of relaxation and cleanliness; like a soap mixed with a good cologne. I recommend it for those who want to smell clean, a complement to hygiene on hot days, it goes well, the best thing is that it’s not expensive and lasts quite a while.
What you get for the price is incredible. It smells of lemon, jasmine and lilies, perfect for summer, walks and casual outings. If you use it with its body cream, it doesn’t overwhelm and leaves a trail of flowers and fruity notes.
The value for money is incredible. A blend of lemon, jasmine and lily that is perfect for summer, afternoon strolls and informal outings. If you wear it with body lotion, it won’t overpower and leaves a trail of flowers with hints of fruit.
Fresh, citrusy, moderately floral and clean. Ideal for everyday wear or the office, as it’s accessible… Very pleasant overall. Just that on me it lasts very little.
Fresh, citrusy, moderately floral, clean. A daily fragrance, suitable for the office, as the price is accessible… Very pleasant overall. A pity it doesn’t last very long on me.
What a delicious perfume, it’s a pity that now it can only be found in the United States.
I liked the bottle; it was very pretty. It’s a fresh, crisp aroma that projects order, evoking a serene and focused woman. It smells of fresh leaf or clean skin with a touch of white flower. I’m not sure if the formula is still the same. I purchased it around 2009 for my university placements.

What a lovely summer afternoon to wear my Haiku, fresh, aquatic and floral. I bought it a year and a half ago at a bazaar in Mexico from an Avon saleswoman. I’m dying to know who designed it. Nardos, lilies, jasmine, peonies and yuzu, all very refined and subtle. It’s like drops of dew turning it into an aqueous elixir. It captures the Asian spirit, bringing to mind a walk across a bridge over a stream in a Japanese zen garden, among pagodas, with a light drizzle. With the delicacy of a geisha… It earns compliments. I hope Avon, Natura and company wake up and start selling this treasure again. If asked what it smells like, without hesitation I say it’s the EAU of Issey Miyaki, with an Asian heart. I enjoy it, it’s intimate and personal, and anyone who gets close will smell it at 100%.
