One of my favourite citrus scents, alongside Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, but DKNY is overwhelming with its green and orange notes. It’s clean, sexy (without being almost sweet), youthful, active and fresh. The ‘energising’ aspect suits it perfectly; it gives a sharp, cheerful and vibrant boost with a trail that lingers, generating compliments, especially from men. What I like most is that it doesn’t tire, even though it’s intense, and because it’s slightly invasive it’s also citrusy and fresh, but it compensates for its very subtle sensual floral side. Plus, you’re constantly smelling like you’re in a cloud of cleanliness and femininity. My timeless daily favourite.

  • I LOVE this perfume, I had it and I have it, I adore it, I use it all year round; it’s my favourite, although I had a limited summer edition that I can’t get anymore and I’m going to miss it. Adorable!

  • dannisbadbor@

It’s the first perfume I could buy in prep school and I still have it today among the ones that can’t be missing from my collection. I mega super love it.

  • I love citrus perfumes, but this smells too much of tangerine, making it sweeter than I’d like. I prefer more lemony citrus notes. Still, I think it’s delicious; I don’t think it’s worth buying blindly as it really smells strongly of tangerine.

I don’t have this one, but I do have one from Mercadona that smells very similar. It’s brilliant and, for me, unisex. Lads, give it a try. Let’s not be daunted by fragrance gender. I love them, just like BVLGARI Man in Black, Versace Pour Homme or Sauvage Elixir, and this one too. We can have it all.

  • My perfume. On my skin all day. People tell me not to change it (even though I use others). I adore it; I’ve been using it for years and keep buying it. An exquisite citrus with a burst of flowers, sandalwood and amber. Simply exquisite. Clean, excellent projection and longevity. It performs extraordinarily well on cold days; in summer it can be heavy, so two sprays are enough. It lasts on clothes until washed or taken to the dry cleaners. I love it.

  • To me it’s delicious, very citrusy (I feel mostly tangerine) at first, then the sweetness takes over. It seems sweet yet fresh, perfect for summer or when I need lightness and transparency. I bought it blindly and would buy it again; I use it often to unwind and feel fresh and friendly.

  • I don’t know where you get the idea that it smells of tangerine or lemon; it smells like air freshener, with a hint of lemon. I bought it because my boyfriend liked it, but I haven’t finished it because I don’t like it at all. It smells like strong household cleaner to me.

  • Full of tangerine and bitter orange with plenty of green tomato, while cassia and flowers like jasmine adorn it subtly. The base is suede, amber and woods, very close to the skin. Lucky there’s no patchouli! It’s fresh, energetic, cheerful and sparkling, ideal for any season but with a plus in the heat. Excellent longevity and trail. Give it a try; it’s not floral as it seems, but green, citrusy and woody.

  • Very fresh for the heat, smelling of a vodka cocktail with orange and ice; the tomato leaf dominates for 8-9 hours and projects brilliantly. It’s an unusual citrus wonder, but I wouldn’t buy it blindly as it’s very personal and doesn’t suit everyone.

  • I bought it today as I do every year when summer approaches. It never fails in my collection. I heard it in 1992 on my best friend and it was love at first sight. The next day I went to buy it and since then it’s my summer perfume par excellence. It’s really just as it says on the bottle: a fragrance full of energy. When I smell it I imagine myself in an Ibiza dress sandals walking on a beach in my city Alicante with this perfume… A real delight. It fills me with vitality.

  • Mundolores

A fragrance inspired by New York. The bottle like a skyscraper contains a dynamic and energetic essence. A resolutely citrus scent almost electronic and futuristic. Citrus from start to finish feeling at some point timid floral reflections but the citrus presence is colossal. In this sense in agreement with @egrimalt in his review one might think of a fresh floral but nothing could be further from the truth. You’ll find an intense green citrus with a certain bitterness full of freshness at first and gradually moving towards a drier more formal scent. Great trail and longevity. More than 8 hours on the skin.

  • Soyyoymiperfume

I’ve given it several chances but no I can’t. I don’t know if it’s because too many people wear it in summer and I got saturated but I can’t smell it for long because I dislike it strongly. In summer it seems to be a classic in several countries and it must be for that reason that I can’t use it anymore. It’s fresh and wearable for lovers of this type of perfume but it emits something acidic; I’m not talking about my skin but about the people who wear it and that I don’t like probably the tomato leaves aren’t to my liking. There are many more beautiful options on the market to use in summer in my opinion. I recommend trying it before buying.

  • Tomato leaf. It’s like tonic water: you learn to love it. More than citrus I think it’s a FRÍO eau de parfum. A classic already for summer but it also has its little bit for winter. Performance is very good for the type of fragrance it is as few others. I can’t be without it.

  • Refreshing fizzy green. It’s been a blessing on the hottest days of this summer; now that I have little left I use it to go to the gym. Nothing invasive; its opening is potent but softens after a while. I don’t know if I’ll repurchase but it’s a summer option I’ll keep in mind.

  • A sparkling drink with lots of ice and lemon zest. A tonic Sprite or Schweppes that’s highly refreshing and comforting. It sparkles from the start and softens over time taking on a gentler velvet-like form. That transformation from an effervescent citrus to a fresh and above all clean softness is the great magic of this formula. It’s one of those fragrances born in an era when synthetic formulas were fashionable evoking cleanliness and natural purity always without soap (CK Miyake…). DKNY is a classic imitated a thousand times that always works and is liked in any season. Its superpower is the sensation of cleanliness purity and freshness present from start to finish for a long time. The secret lies in the tomato leaf which adds a brushstroke of eco-friendly green and natural freshness that becomes familiar and pleasant.

  • It’s cold bitter fizzy spicy aquatic and citrusy. At the same time it’s elegant and unisex. There have been many dupes but none evolve the same way. I love the bottle and the contents.

  • Good heavens I can’t think of a bigger energy punch to the face than this. Literally while I was ill I put it on to feel vital. For moments when life overwhelms you and you’re tired spray this and imagine a smashed orange from the gym tackling you and shouting at you to keep going as if it were your coach. Literally it smells to me like orange Fanta with vodka but with green nuances and the tomato plant note is definitely there. The fizzing sensation is there when you apply it. For a citrus it has trail and longevity that’s championship standard. Curiously it’s in the top of my partner’s favourites on me. And yet it’s not a feminine or sexy scent at all. Highly recommended for people who like citrus without fear of success.

  • It’s the fragrance I always return to: citrus and spicy at first but sweet on my skin when dry. It’s always fresh and smells clean. It lifts my mood to start the day and I love that it doesn’t smell too feminine.

  • How could I have missed this? Launched in 2009 and I never tried it but thanks to some perfume influencers I realised it was for me. I’m a fan of Light Blue L’Essentiel de Rochas etc. but I was looking for something different. I like citrus with a bitter twist and better longevity. It has a very recognisable tomato leaf opening in summer – bitter and astringent – but it quickly transforms into a spectacular clean scent. It smells like white clothes hanging out to dry like a fresh laundry day. On my skin it doesn’t project much but I can definitely smell it and it lasts a long time even after a shower! I’m so happy. Now I only want clean-scented perfumes; it’s my new obsession.

  • I like it very much; the scent is very refreshing and reminds me of a glass of gin with lime and lots of ice. I use it little because all the supermarkets now have the clone… what a pity.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

I was surprised by its longevity and projection. It gives me the impression of wearing white linen. It’s a perfume with an undeniable clean scent and also invigorating.

  • It’s an injection of energy, an original citrus thanks to its tomato leaf note. I love it. The only thing I complain about is the longevity and projection; on me, it doesn’t last long, but I still use it because I love it. The opening is citrusy and sparkling, then the tomato leaf enters with a particular and satisfying aroma. I don’t notice the other notes much; afterwards, it becomes a soft citrus with floral touches, energetic, and finally leaves a clean scent. Highly recommended for those who love citrus, fresh, and clean but distinctive scents.

  • A good fragrance, but it’s neither citrus nor unisex. Apart from the tangerine at the start, it’s floral, powdery, and feminine.

  • What a perfume! It’s very different from today’s gourmands. It has great longevity and projection. It mixes citrus freshness with wood and leather, and it works! I love it; I use it in any season. Very elegant, without any affectation.

  • AntaresAres

I adore this fragrance, but to me it smells like vodka. It’s urban and cold as ice, dazzling like the Arctic horizon… in short: fantabulous!

  • DKNY Woman is citrusy, aromatic, floral, and even herbal, with a realistic tomato leaf note that gives it its own stamp. The opening is pleasant and addictive. Ideal after a shower to feel fresh in spring or summer. A real pleasure in extreme heat, with good longevity and projection. It’s unisex and versatile for daily wear, the gym, the beach, or hot nights. I discovered it years ago and was fascinated. I reorder it instantly. It’s impossible not to recall the Twin Towers with that iconic bottle, very fitting for the DKNY brand. *Note: the photo is not this fragrance; it has been swapped with DKNY Woman Energizing EDP.

It’s a trip back to the 2000s. On the skin, it’s divine once it settles. At first, I notice a lot of coriander, but after the initial moment, it’s pure heaven.

  • susy mazza

DKNY Women is my absolute favourite; nothing compares to it. It feels so much like me that I never leave the house without it; it’s pure energy. I always receive compliments on the trail. I’ve worn it for years and there’s no competition. My children say it smells like Mum… brilliant, nothing beats that!

  • juancar677

To my nose, it is a unisex that leans towards masculine, and that is because I had never tried a citrus so bitter; it is a sensation of cold vodka with ice and many bitter orange slices inside the glass. Of course, this is only the beginning, but it will be a leit-motif throughout its development. The flowers are felt but very little, and the green parts are pleasant; it is a very energetic perfume that grants good vital mood, I do not know why Mrs Karan sells it only for women, it seems a mistake to me. It is bright, luminous and contrasting, very Spring-Summer although it can be versatile, but it will shine for its freshness in summer, watch out as both day and night. Except for its opening, the fragrance is carried with pleasure and does not tire you at all; the 100ml bottle lasted very little. It has certain glamour and personality, it is from 1999 but much better than new versions or trends, guys you will like this, just enough feminine, no more. Its longevity and projection are correct, considering the years since its debut, I ignore if New York will smell like this, I suppose not. Post: I am wearing it these days and very much to my liking for sure. A man, this perfume and at night are the perfect combination that will break the mould. A feminine had to be the one that gave the best performance in Summer 2025.

I bought a sample on recommendation from social media and fell in love. It is the one I am using most. It is acidic and different, I love it although I have to reapply it several times. I buy it in pairs. 🥰

  • oliendobonito

This is a fruity-floral aquatic fragrance. If you like fresh aromas but do not want to smell like coconut, suntan lotion, or typical summer citrus, this is different. The tomato leaf note is clearly perceived, but do not think you will smell like Bolognese sauce; by no means. It adds a green and fresh touch that subtly recalls tomato, but in an elegant and original way. Definitely not for everyone and I would not recommend it blindly. It has very good longevity, remaining on clothes for about 8 hours without problem.

  • I love it, especially for summer. It is very fresh and energising, putting you in a good mood. The citrus and aromatic notes (the tomato leaf 🥰) are very noticeable. I see it as totally unisex, but perhaps I lean towards the feminine side. It is ideal for going to work, in hot areas, urban and non-invasive although with decent projection. I agree that it gives a reformulated sensation: I remember that in the 2000s it lasted hours and hours with an important trail, now I do not notice it for as long (max 5-6 hours on my skin). That said, it performs better than other citrus scents. Totally recommended, a different citrus that never lacks in my collection 😍

  • DKNY Women captures the essence of freshness and cleanliness, a true must-have for those seeking an ozonic touch. I met this fragrance thanks to its clone, the deodorant Prune I, which was gifted to me some time ago. From the first spray, it feels like an explosion of ozonic notes evoking purity and vitality. It is like a awakening on a radiant morning, where each note intertwines harmoniously to offer a refreshing and enveloping experience. As it progresses, it maintains that essence of cleanliness, providing the ideal lightness for both daily use and special occasions.

  • I discovered this fragrance in the middle of winter 2025 and it blew my mind. It is green, fresh, clean, sparkling, ozonic… brutal. At first, it smells like tonic, and then the citrus and green notes emerge, along with a bit of wood and something earthy from the patchouli, though very soft. It does not have the declared tea note, but it reminds me of it to me. It has a vintage and classic air, but nothing outdated, rather timeless. I think I will enjoy it more next summer. I am glad it crossed my path. If you liked Adolfo Domínguez’s Green Tea or other niche scents like Bois Imperial, it is a highly recommended blind buy. In my opinion, it is unisex leaning towards feminine.

  • JohnAcosta25

Energetic, bubbly, and timeless. Quite unique, it is my older sister’s summer fragrance but can be quite unisex as well. It is a grand option for the heat and for smelling different from the typical citrus of the season; for me, it is like mineral water with spice and light floral and fruity notes. The tomato leaf gives it a peculiar green touch that resembles one of those summer cocktail shots. As affordable as it gets with average performance, it is a very pleasant and original choice 👍

  • On Skin Parfums

Hello, I bought this DKNY Women EDP last in 2025, for around £35 for 100ml in a physical store. Now it is available for £30, and I have even seen it for £25, both online and in-store. My rating, considering what it is and its price, is very positive. Although it says Women, for me it is totally unisex. It is a clean, rich citrus aroma, and even more so at this price. It evokes that sensation of giving yourself a bath with lots of soap and bubbles, exactly the moment when you step out and your skin smells intensely clean. On my dry skin, it lasts about 6-7 hours, which for this type and price I could not ask for more; on clothes, about 9. It has a perceptible trail but is nothing invasive, and it usually pleases those who smell it. In the end, smelling clean is the safest bet: it is sexy, pleasant, and almost always works. Without doubt, I would buy it again. Best wishes!

First review, and what better choice than this perfume! Probably my favourite alongside Guerlain’s Bois d’Orange. Many consider it a summer scent, but for me, it is winter because of that mandarin, which is my dream fragrance. The first time I tried it, knowing nothing about it, I applied it to my wrist and was instantly wrapped around; I thought I had just squeezed fresh mandarin and orange juice. It was so delicious… I didn’t wait 24 hours before buying it, and since then, it is one of the ones I repeat most often. If you love citrus and enjoy smelling freshly showered, try it now.
