Charming. I caught it on the wing at a dinner. As I always say, I’m not usually on the lookout for other people’s perfumes, but on that summer evening where you’re introduced to your friends, I caught whiffs of a scent so pleasant that I allowed myself to focus on it. In the end, I asked for the name. I can’t describe the development because I haven’t tested it on skin, but I sensed feminine, soft, youthful and discreet lilacs, with an innocent yet very attractive sensuality. I was a little disappointed by the wearer due to things unrelated to the perfume, although I take the opportunity to recommend table manners, but I must appreciate her good taste. I’ll be looking for it to test it, and if I can, to have it in my personal collection.

Totally different from the other 4711 colognes. It’s not as fresh or ethereal as one might expect; it smells of lilacs, wisteria and sweet, caramelised violets, with a dark heart and a coconut base. It’s deep and addictive, without that initial alcohol hit, and has a longevity that many modern perfumes would envy. Although it’s linear, it becomes a little more talcky and woody over time. The projection is close but you can smell it without having to be a bloodhound. Acceptable quality and brilliant price: a surprise of a good, pretty and cheap cologne.

What a pity it’s no longer available. It’s a gorgeous, feminine and adorable fragrance. To me, it conjures up dusty lilacs with a subtle rose in the background. It has a musky and woody touch, all blended together without distinct phases, and for me, that’s a virtue: I don’t need to wait for evolutions to fall in love with it. It comes in waves and the price is ridiculous. If you can get your hands on it, buy a backup bottle.
