4711 is pure magic for refreshing yourself in spring and summer. Its two aromatic pillars are well chosen, designed, and result in rich, beautiful scents. Ginger and lemon, basil and orange, mint and white peach… Longevity isn’t its strong suit, but its freshness and those enveloping aromas certainly are. Prices are very affordable. Every time I open one, it’s like receiving a gift, a little surprise. Long live 4711!
The opening is effervescent, then it calms down to leave a scent between creamy and bath gel, but with that electric touch that gives it life. It’s an aromatic and balsamic scent, lovely and full of personality.
It’s a rich scent, although marked as unisex, I see it with more feminine nuances. I’d recommend it only for her. It feels creamy with green and fresh touches, though be careful, it could get cloying if overapplied. It’s not a projection bomb, but it behaves well. It lasts less than four hours on the skin with a trail of good size, over two metres. It never becomes annoying at any point, one hundred per cent recommended.
The Acqua Intensa by 4711 with white peach and white mint is a refreshing downpour that lasts longer than you’d expect. It opens super fruity and fresh, without veering into sweetness, thanks to that mint and white peach blend. It’s linear and doesn’t evolve, but who cares; the initial blend is already a fragrance of another level. It projects strongly for the first two hours before settling close to the skin until the fifth hour. Watch out, I’d never tried this 4711 line before and it completely caught me off guard. I’ll be looking for more from the collection.
