Far from my favourite LV scent. An unconventional fragrance with a fresh citrus opening and noticeable neroli and sandalwood in the evolution, both pleasant. Ideal for spring, yet quite versatile in my opinion.
Delicious aroma featuring sandalwood, musk and cardamom; it smells wonderful. It lacks beastly projection, instead creating a rich personal bubble. As an LV fan, my top three are Imagination, this fragrance, L’Immensité, because they are more versatile; Ombre Nomade is brilliant but only for nights and cold weather. The ones I mentioned are even worth a blind buy.
Elegance that dresses itself like a second skin. It has one of the richest openings I’ve tried in a long time: beautiful bergamot, not at all astringent, with soft and rounded aldehydes, surely due to the quality, after all it is Louis Vuitton. In the heart phase, you already notice much musk with soft leather, a very shy sandalwood, and a slight green base in the background. After hours, it’s musky with sandalwood over a leather base. Does it resemble Santal 33? Yes, but this one is more airy and light. Au Hasard is elegant and light, nothing ostentatious, it sits perfectly as a musky second skin. Should I recommend it? Yes, you must try the incredible opening before moving on to the heart and base with a musky scent.
Opens with soft citrus and aquatic notes, drying down to soft leather. Excellent ingredient quality, very different from the usual. One of my favourites from LV.
Very elegant with an oriental touch, though not overpowering. It doesn’t leave a beastly trail, which I love, but its presence is noticeable. On my skin, it lasts all day without being overwhelming. In conclusion, I really liked it.
Very elegant, with an oriental touch but not very marked. It doesn’t leave a beastly trail, which I love, but its presence is noticeable. On my skin, it lasts all day without being overwhelming. In conclusion, I’ve really enjoyed it.
What a fantastic fragrance. It doesn’t resemble anything else; as a reference, it could be Sicilian Leather by Memo Paris with that touch of ‘sand’ from On the Beach. Niche perfumery at its very best, yet incredibly easy to wear. It opens citrusy and lovely, then evolves into soapy sandalwood and a subtle leather: neither for Santal 33 detractors nor for those who fear strong leather. It’s delicate; the citrus accompanies it throughout, stepping back from protagonist to a constant presence, while the musky sandalwood avoids becoming childish thanks to fine leather and cardamom giving it an adult touch. When dry, it smells of clean, dry wood, evoking a very soft leather, ideal for leather lovers in summer. Very beautiful; it’s been a while since I’ve been so surprised. Exclusive, slightly masculine, clean, elegant and subtle, like a second skin. Suitable for any season, formal or semi-formal, office or date, without falling into family cologne territory. You must smell it because it’s hard to describe. Anecdote: it’s LV’s own favourite. Moderate projection, lasts about five hours, but I recommend reapplying because it’s a joy.
Beautiful perfume. Opens with top-tier citrus, then dries down to that classic LV leather (if you’ve tried Nouveau Monde, it’s the same), but with musk and pear it becomes incredibly soft, nothing harsh. The longevity isn’t the most impressive, but it does the job; for a fresh scent of this calibre, it’s perfect. In the end, it lingers like a second skin of leather, as if your natural scent were like that. Suitable for everything, though in my opinion it shines most in the shoulder seasons. Highly recommended.
Beautiful perfume. It starts with top-tier citrus, and as it dries down, that classic LV leather emerges (if you’ve tried Nouveau Monde, it’s the same), but with musk and pear it becomes super soft, nothing harsh. The longevity isn’t beastly but it delivers; for a fresh scent of this level, it’s good. In the end, it settles like a second skin of leather, as if your natural scent were like that. Suitable for everything, though in my opinion it shines more in transitional seasons. Highly recommended.
