It’s a combo of patchouli, vetiver and high-quality citrus. It has a masculine and elegant character, and performs well if applied generously. Pity that the price doesn’t invite buying. The earthy touch of the vetiver and patchouli works brilliantly; it would be perfect for autumn or spring. If you can afford the price, the quality is top-notch, although the value for money isn’t the best, as there are equally worthy options for less.
Totally unisex. I bought it because among the new LV releases, this was the best. I tried it and liked it a lot, but then I tested three more and started choosing. In the end, I went for Orage. My first instinct didn’t fail me: it’s a very good, adaptable and distinctive scent, fresh yet with a cosy woody touch. It has a charming patchouli note. Longevity? Very good, around 10-12 hours on my skin.
It follows the path of Terre d’Hermès but with more pronounced citrus notes. Good.
What a fantastic fragrance. Orage is the summer storm: fresh, intense and alive. The grapefruit with vetiver is delicious, a perfect balance between fresh and earthy. A bit odd: the opening is super subtle, I don’t notice those notes, but the dry-down is incredible. Once the citrus fades, the vetiver and amber create a warm, silky base. It evolves hugely, revealing new layers. Simply beautiful.
Smells like Terre d’Hermès EDT but more polished, versatile and unisex, thanks to that elegant iris. It lasts over 10 hours with a brutal projection for the first 2-3 hours. I love both, but Orage is the one others prefer. The only downside: the price.
