  I’m not an expert, more of a beginner. I see a clear inspiration from Chanel Allure Homme Sport, with citrus notes a bit lower in tone and cleanliness accords. I visualise an elegant man, with class and refinement. On skin it doesn’t smell strong, but in the air it’s noticeable in bursts. It’s that perfect scent; it’s not tiring, it’s masculine, versatile, and no one will dislike it. Good work by Lattafa. It’s one of those scents that changes your character, making you feel cheerful. My girlfriend says it’s the perfume of a Peaky Blinders type. The bottle and packaging are incredible. For the price, it’s a gift.

  I bought it as a gift and, given the price and quality, it was the standout surprise among all the Arabic fragrances I tried that week. I wore it before attending an extracurricular activity at a women’s rehabilitation centre, and out of around 12 people, everyone said they liked it and two asked if they could have it as a gift. It certainly didn’t go unnoticed. It has good longevity and sillage; I love it and think it suits all year round, although I’ll now test it in less hot weather. It’s versatile: works in the office, at meetings, or when going out with friends.

  A pleasant citrus fragrance that leaves a clean scent without being overpowering, though it becomes very powdery once it dries. The downside is the poor longevity and projection; in my case, it lasts barely an hour.

  A bargain given the price and quality. I bought it to complete an order and it was the biggest surprise among all the Middle Eastern scents I tried that week. I wore it before visiting a women’s prison and around 12 people said they liked it, with others asking to have it given to them. It certainly didn’t go unnoticed. Good longevity and sillage; I’m completely satisfied. It suits my taste and I believe it can be worn all year round, though I’ll probably test it as the heat rises. Best for daytime; it’s versatile: work, office, with friends, or going out for a meal…

  A good citrus fragrance; it smells clean and isn’t overpowering. The dry-down is very powdery. The downside is the longevity and projection, which are very poor in my case, lasting about an hour.

  It has a pleasant smell but doesn’t stand out at all. On my skin, it lasts nothing and after two hours, I can’t even detect it. I think it’s cheap and there are better alternatives at this price point; what I see in the reviews is that they come from shops that are just trying to create hype around the product.

  The fragrance is decent for the price, but personally, I wouldn’t buy it again, either for the scent or the longevity. I have average skin where most perfumes perform well, but with this one, it’s a letdown; it’s down to skin scent in just 15 minutes.

  To me, it smelled of women’s shampoo or face creams, something very generic. It smells pleasant but that’s all it does. The longevity is terrible, almost non-existent.

  It projects and dries down similarly to Chanel Allure, though it’s a bit weaker. The price is certainly comfortable. If you don’t mind it being a clone and you like Allure, this Platinum is a good option. Good value-for-money clone.
