A citrus opening where the cedar and ginger become perfectly noticeable within minutes. It’s one of those ‘clean’ scents, very youthful and perfect for spring and summer. The main drawback is that it doesn’t last long, typical of Yves Rocher fragrances. After two hours, it’s barely skin-scented, at least in my case. If you over-apply it, you get moderate sillage, but otherwise, it sticks intensely to the skin.
Quite a citrusy start with grapefruit and a hint of ginger, followed by the emergence of cedar, which lends it a certain formality. In my view, this fragrance bears a great resemblance to Givenchy Pour Homme, only with a much more marked citrus touch. Compared to Givenchy, there are differences, as you can imagine, besides the fact that it doesn’t smell 100% alike. Although the difference isn’t drastic, the quality of the ingredients feels lesser; its sillage is another matter. I recall Givenchy having a medium sillage with a slight high tendency, whereas with just six sprays, I could barely achieve a low sillage. That said, it had good longevity, approximately 10 hours: the first two hours were a bit low, and the following eight were too close to the skin. But what more could one expect for around $15 USD? In summary, it’s a youthful fragrance with a touch of maturity and elegance; it really smells good, but its sillage is so low that even with over-application, you can barely get a medium sillage for a couple of hours. The cost-to-benefit ratio is normal, given the low price, but due to the amount needed to apply, it won’t last long. By the way, it comes in a 75ml presentation, which doesn’t offer much in terms of quantity.
Starts with a citrus burst of grapefruit and ginger, then cedar steps in to give it a more formal edge. In my opinion, it bears a strong resemblance to Givenchy Pour Homme, but with a much more pronounced citrus note. While it doesn’t smell identical, the ingredient quality feels slightly inferior, and the projection is another story: with just six sprays, I barely achieve a low sillage, whereas Givenchy used to offer medium. Nevertheless, it lasted around 10 hours, though the first two hours were very skin-scented, and the remaining eight were barely noticeable. But what more can you ask for at around $15? It’s a youthful fragrance with a touch of elegance, smells great, yet its projection is so low that even with over-application, it barely reaches a moderate sillage for an hour or two. The value is average: low price, but you need to apply a lot to make it last. It comes in 75ml, which isn’t much either.
