I love enjoying Yves Rocher’s new perfumes, which now genuinely have good staying power. This one stands out for its elegant sweetness and very floral character; the sandalwood blends beautifully with a soft neroli, a sensual ylang-ylang, and a spiced cardamom… a warm, luminous infusion that lasts all day with a broad aura without being overpowering. Beautiful and great value. Highly recommended.
I love trying these new scents from Yves Rocher, as they now have a fixative that actually works. It is an elegant sweetness and very floral, where the sandalwood blends perfectly with a soft neroli, a sensual ylang-ylang, and a spiced cardamom… a warm, luminous infusion that lasted all day with a broad aura without being intrusive. Beautiful and great value. More than recommended!
After a night out, it leaves a lovely floral scent, although the longevity is weak, which is why I gifted it: in the end, it smells slightly artificial and doesn’t make me feel comfortable.
I liked it very much. At first it didn’t convince me much, but after a few minutes it develops rich nard and a special sweetness. I imagine it’s due to the ylang-ylang. The cardamom isn’t potent, but I do feel it. It lasted well on skin; I think the fixation is better than other YR perfumes. I don’t feel it’s synthetic (except
I liked it very much. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but within minutes it opened up into rich neroli and a special sweetness, I imagine due to the Ylang Ylang; the cardamomo is not strong but I do notice it. It lasted well on my skin, I think the longevity is better than other YR perfumes. It does not smell synthetic at all (except for a few minutes at the start). I recommend it: yes, it is delicious!
SCENT: VERY GOOD, PROJECTION: POOR, LONGEVITY: POOR, QUALITY: VERY GOOD, BLIND BUY: YES BUT… 6/10. INCREDIBLE SCENT. BE PATIENT: it’s soft when you first come out, but a few minutes later it transforms into something beautiful until the end. Very rich aroma, a little gardenia combined very well. It’s not linear, it changes over time.
It is pure luminous neroli. The sandalwood and cardamom give it incredible creaminess, while the ylang-ylang makes it ideal for spring or summer without overwhelming the senses. Although it is quite linear, it is my favourite from Yves Rocher and their Eaux de Parfum collection. Every time I wear it, people always comment on the neroli. It reminds me of the chapel at my old school, which is why I love it so much. Its name, ‘Plein Soleil’, suits it perfectly. Despite not having strong longevity, for me it is just right for going out or to a party. It is a scent that is in no way offensive and very rich. This is my second bottle, and I feel it is a perfume I want to keep in my collection forever.
Bright pure nard. The sandalwood and cardamom give it surprising creaminess and the ylang-ylang makes it ideal for spring or summer without overwhelming the nose. Although it is linear (what you smell at the start is what you smell all day), it is my favourite from Yves Rocher and their EDP collection. Every time I wear it, someone points out the nard. It reminds me of the school chapel when I was a girl, perhaps that’s why I like it so much. Its name ‘Plein Soleil’ suits it perfectly. Although it doesn’t have powerful fixation, on skin it reaches what is ideal for going out or a party. The aroma is nothing offensive and very rich. It’s the second bottle I’ve bought and I feel I want to have it always.
I first encountered this fragrance in the hand cream and liked it, so I decided to buy it, and the truth is it smells much stronger; it is beautiful in its Eau de Parfum presentation. At first, I liked spraying it in my hair to have that pleasant sensation all day, but now, as I love the scent so much, I spray it on my pillows, bed, and bedding; the ylang-ylang and sandalwood notes are the ones I notice most, giving me relaxation, purity, and cleanliness, which is why I use it on the bed linen. I love it; it gives me that freshly bathed and fresh feeling. It evokes warm, sunny days. On the bed linen, its longevity is incredible; it can last 2 to 3 days, and I only need to re-spray it a couple of times. On my skin and hair, it lasts approximately 4 to 6 hours.
I first discovered it in hand cream and liked it; I bought it and it’s much more potent. Beautiful in its perfume water presentation. At first, I sprayed it on my hair to feel it all day, but now I like it so much that I spray it on pillows and bed linen. The ylang and sandalwood notes give a sense of relaxation, purity and cleanliness, as if just bathed. It evokes warm, sunny days. On clothes it lasts incredibly well, 2 or 3 days with just a couple of sprays. On skin and hair it lasts about 4 to 6 hours.
Nard, cardamom and yes, a very subtle sandalwood base, lots of sweet ylang-ylang and I note lemon as it dries down. It smells to me like layering Moschino Bubble Bum and Armani My Way. If you wear it in hot weather, you’ll be surprised: the nard and ylang calm down and the citrus and sandalwood emerge.
Neroli, cardamom, and yes, a very subtle base of sandalwood, lots of sweet ylang, and I notice a hint of lemon as it dries down. To me, it smells like layering Moschino Bubble Bum with My Way by Armani. If you use it on very hot days, you will be surprised; the neroli and ylang settle down, and the citrus and sandalwood emerge.
A fairly pleasant fragrance. Ylang-ylang is also in Lacoste White and there are similarities. This one is more pronounced, but it’s not a beast. As a man who wears feminine perfumes, it evokes a woman in spring or summer, relaxed, with the sandalwood adding soft nuances. It’s balsamic, wearable, grateful, and without any sharp edges. I recommend giving it a try.
These and Matin Blanc are my favourites from the line. I like Sable Fauve, but it doesn’t work for me and I only wear it at home. Plein Soleil is floral-woody, with nard and ylang-ylang over a salty sandalwood base. Projection is notable and it lasts about 8 hours. It doesn’t smell like the others on Fragrantica; although it has nard, the sandalwood dominates and it isn’t fresh or green. It might be similar to Soleil Blanc, but without so much coconut. Despite the name, I don’t wear it in full sun, but rather in any season except summer, though it could work on cool summer evenings. I love it for daytime, especially in spring and autumn. It’s a delight. Scent 8/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value for money 8/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Beautiful nard, a springtime and formal fragrance. It is clearly of very high quality.
Very pleasant and wearable. The sandalwood and nard shine in a homogeneous blend, giving a sweet, warm, and clean scent. It doesn’t smell musky or animalic, at least not to me.
Nard and ylang-ylang, in the style of ‘My Way’. Smells rich, but it fades quickly.
