Descripción

Woman by Ralph Lauren by Ralph Lauren is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by perfumer Anne Flipo. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant freshness thanks to the pear, blackcurrant and rhubarb. The heart reveals an elegant florality with neroli, orange blossom and Turkish rose, while the base settles on a warm and woody foundation of hazelnut, sandalwood and woody notes.

Delightful aroma; I feel it’s summery, smelling of flowers. Although it doesn’t list coconut, I do sense it… perhaps that’s why when it was applied to me, I imagined walking on the beach.

  • Delicious, delicate, feminine, and very elegant… it has a DNA reminiscent of 90s perfumes like the traditional Carolina Herrera. Its opening is potent and sweet, with a strong, well-balanced neroli note; perhaps a touch of wood keeps it from being overwhelming. I detect a very light, slightly spiced rose. Its dry-down is deliciously talcum-like and very warm, enveloping you sweetly like the loving embrace of an elegant grandmother.

  • Kharynbranchet

There’s a coconut note not listed, but it’s quite noticeable during the seven hours it has lingered on my skin. It smells of the beach, of a holiday on a cruise. Simply enchanting!

Editing my review. I don’t know what happened, but I’m tired of it; it’s becoming unbearable… I’m using it as a room fragrance and barely tolerate it; I find it very alcoholic, as if the essence has evaporated. I don’t know; I won’t be buying it again.

  • Bought it due to good reviews and I think it’s a super good perfume, but not for me. It’s a very sweet, potent floral, with a slightly vintage feel. I like smelling it from the bottle or spraying a bit on my wrist, but even then it becomes overwhelming; I find it dry. I think I’ll gift it to my mother when I get the chance. It smells like a fine lady’s perfume from a 40-year-old woman.

  • PERFUMON! Elegant, creamy, and beautiful. For those of us from Argentina, Guillermina Valdez’s ‘Paris noir et Blanc’ is very similar.

  • A beautiful perfume, very elegant and versatile, with excellent performance. Neroli, pear, and hazelnut: a winning combination.

  • Thefragrancelover

Initially a fruity opening with pear that soon blends with flowers, particularly creamy, sweet neroli. It’s an exquisite combination that then gives way to subtle woods and hazelnut. A fragrance of great quality with good longevity and trail; on my skin it lasts up to seven hours. People notice it and offer compliments. I find it very versatile for any season, day or night. Ideal for celebrations, parties, dinners, or work gatherings.

  • On my skin, I don’t detect the pear, but rather the blackcurrant; an initial burst of acidic red fruits, followed by powerful neroli. After two hours, the dry-down is quite rapid, leaving only faint sweet woody notes, with no hazelnut. It reminds me of Givenchy’s Amarige, a sharp white floral, but without that legend’s 90s longevity and trail. It lasts about four hours before fading to skin scent only. It doesn’t linger on clothes or leave a trail unless freshly applied.

  • DulceInvierno

A beautiful, charming, elegant, and sparkling white floral, extremely feminine. I usually hate neroli, but here they have a perfect balance with the other notes and are very versatile; I can smell it from morning until the end of the day. It has me fascinated. I give it five stars; it’s exquisite.

  • A rich sweetness of flowers and fruits to rest the olfactory senses from so many trendy gourmands. The trail is moderate, but on my skin it lasts 3 hours with luck. I gifted it to a friend because regarding neroli, I stick with Givenchy’s L’Interdit which lasts longer; although it smells similar, I prefer it.

  • Katrinadeanhell

Its scent is exquisite, without being cloying or heavy. The trail is moderate and lasts on skin for about 3 to 4 hours. It’s a white floral, fresh and fruity, neither too sweet nor normal, just right in the middle. It’s enjoyable from start to finish, smells clean, and is similar to L’Interdit. Very versatile, if I like it.

  • I went to try it and initially it’s strong and powerful, like creamy red fruits, vanilla-infused, and roses with hazelnut. Then the intensity drops and it becomes rich, elegant, and very feminine. I liked it quite a bit. It has good longevity; on clothes, it lasted all day and more.

  • Meleagrina80

I tried it straight out of the bottle… love at first sight! I was fascinated by the neroli. I passed on it countless times and chose something else, but I never forgot it. In 2019, I bought the Intense version for fear it would be discontinued. Although I don’t regret it, I still missed the neroli of the original. Finally, it’s mine. A great perfume, elegant and feminine. It’s not an 80s/90s vintage or a typical 2000s sweet scent; it’s a middle ground, sweet but with powerful floral notes for those who love flowers on overdrive. I adore Amarige, but they aren’t the same: in Woman, the neroli dominates, fresh as if freshly cut; in Amarige, it’s just one facet. Woman is the child of Amarige but with its own personality. For me, it’s floral; I don’t sense the pear or the blackcurrant, it’s an exquisite woody neroli. Very sensual, perfect for winter nights. It lasts over 12 hours on clothes, the trail is high and noticeable. Worth every penny.

I always try it whenever I can in the perfumerie; it’s elegant and it’s a total match on my skin. It’s sweet but classy… it reminds me a bit of Lancôme’s Miracle but with touches of honey. I’m not a fan of elegant perfumes, but this one makes a difference: even after washing my skin, the scent remains intact. I’ll add it to my wishlist.

I’m not a huge fan of RL; I’ve received several gifts I didn’t like, but this is a diamond. It smells clean, elegant, and balanced. My boyfriend adores it, and I use it a lot in spring.

  • I bought it blindly and it was love at first sight. A beautiful fragrance; those neroli notes are exquisite, a pure sweetness. I loved it!

  • CamiAckerman

Absolutely divine! 😍 I gifted it to my mum for her birthday; it lasts forever and smells wonderful. It’s floral with an abundance of neroli, pear, and hazelnut. Sophisticated, elegant, sweet, and super creamy. Perfect for mid-seasons and winter, versatile for day and night. A 10.

I received it in an exchange with a friend. I had prejudices because I associate Ralph Lauren with youthful and light lines, but I loved it. I don’t perceive the peach, but I feel that note all the time and a ripe fruit aroma that reminds me of Poeme, Tresor or Amarige: a perfume full of sun and great presence that surprised me. Woman is very warm and evolves towards floral and nutty notes. It’s exquisite, but for a more mature woman. Great quality, persistent, great trail and tremendous projection; you apply it and it stays with you for hours.

  • Gourmand Bottle

I bought a decant based on the rave reviews, but it just didn’t work for me; it smells very ‘old lady’ with flowers on overdrive. Thank goodness I tried it first, as I almost bought it blindly and would have regretted it.

  • It’s a classic brought into modernity. Rhubarb, neroli and light woody notes predominate; it has minimal floral sweetness and much sophistication without being just for special occasions. It’s elegant and versatile, reaffirms femininity and is perfect for a sober personality because it has no flashiness. The bottle is simple and rounded. The performance is moderate: it projects for about two hours on my skin and needs reapplication at lunchtime; it lasts longer on clothes than on skin. The price is a bit high compared to giants like L’Interdit or LVEB, I think you pay for the luxury of owning it. It’s a perfect gift for a woman. Although it’s unique, there are similar options like Essential Classic or Essential Exclusive from Natura at a lower cost. Who will like it: everyone.

  • Who can be offended by this beauty? It’s elegant, modern, feminine and timeless, ideal to keep always at hand. Compared with the Intense, it’s more classic, with a slightly retro aroma on my skin but very sedating, with moderate longevity and trail.

  • It really offends to say a perfume has an age or is old; that means they haven’t trained their nose and don’t know what they’re talking about. Perfumes have no age.

  • I just tried it and, as I was travelling, I noticed a citrus mango scent that caught my attention greatly; it seemed different from other times I’ve tried it. I think I’ll buy it, I like it very much.

  • It’s rich, but in my case it overwhelms me. The scent remains the same from application until the end of the day; for others it’s good, but for me it floods the space and becomes an annoying sweetness. Use it only at night and when it’s not hot.

  • I find it delicate and a balanced floral: neroli, orange blossom, orange, pear, pineapple and mango. It seems very similar to My Way but softer; I like both. RL is like the intense version of My Way, fruitier, with better longevity and projection. It’s super versatile, nothing for an older person.

  • A white floral where the woody notes linger for ages. Very feminine, it lasts 6-8 hours and is the best gift for a woman. In the end, it leaves a woody trail that I simply adore; it’s super versatile, elegant for day and night. The bottle is gorgeous, the golden liquid and the amphora-style cap are unique.

  • Exquisite, I love it. It’s a perfume that makes you feel incredible, elegant, with a trail and longevity of note 10.

  • It’s a super rich white floral, but on my skin it becomes overwhelming. It smells of creamy neroli with a powdery touch and a slight sweetness from berries and pears. It projects strongly and lasts all day, but it gives me a headache; it’s not my style. Those who love neroli or powerful white florals with fruity sweetness might adore it. Note: it is not gourmand nor vanilla.

  • This perfume fascinated me. I wore it three times. Excellent longevity and trail. I adore the enveloping white florals.

  • I’m instantly smitten. It seems super feminine, sweet yet elegant. The nardos are delicious; they’re my favourite note, with a fruity touch. I see it as versatile, for daily wear or informal events. I think it’s more suitable for warm weather, spring and summer. It’s one of those perfumes you can buy blind; in my case, it was spot on. Longevity is very good, between seven and eight hours, with a good trail.

  • Woman is a wonderful perfume that has amazed me, especially its longevity and trail (unlike the Ralph Lauren men’s scents which seem to fade). It’s a fruity fragrance that can become very sweet if worn during the day or in the heat. It doesn’t seem gourmand, but it suits any occasion and doesn’t need reapplication thanks to its long-lasting nature. Edit: over time, the scent tired me out, so I now use it as a hair mist, as it smells like shampoo or hair cream.

  • Beautiful perfume. I don’t know of any that resembles it. It’s the one that has received the most compliments. I believe it’s no longer available in Uruguay as I can’t find it. I hope they don’t discontinue it because it’s a gem.

  • Karen Campos

This perfume made me fall in love with nardos. They are sweet, creamy (not heavy) and sweetened with pear and a woody base. It’s simple yet very striking. Very feminine, with great presence, ideal for the office. Good longevity and a decent trail. I need to try the Intense version. It works brilliantly for half the year, but I wore it today in summer and it was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

  • I was drawn in by the white florals but didn’t like it at all. Too sweet and slightly artificial; it reminds me of Paris Hilton’s Gold Rush. Although it doesn’t contain vanilla, it has a creaminess and heaviness that gives the impression it does.

  • username21

I truly love this luminous and feminine perfume. It has excellent longevity on my skin. I’m down to my last bottle because it’s no longer available.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

Discontinued, but eternal. Woman by Ralph Lauren is not just a perfume; it’s a sanctuary. Warm, clean, creamy and fresh, as if the sun and silk were embracing. In a world where almost everything is repeated, this smells like something that is no longer made, neither in bottles nor in people.

  • oliendobonito

Nardos, orange blossom and pear take centre stage. The nardos have a sweet, almost tuttifrutti gummi bear vibe that borders on cloying. The orange blossom balances everything with a luminous freshness. The pear is juicy and ripe, with a gentle sweetness. It’s elegant, classic and deeply feminine—a serious, well-constructed scent that leaves a mark. It works in almost any season, though it can be intense in summer. Imagine a sunny spring day with fresh air; you feel put-together without trying. It’s a beast on longevity, lasting over nine hours on clothes. It’s linear with moderate to high projection. Luminous, sweet and impossible to ignore. If you like Armani’s My Way, you’ll surely love this, as they share those chic gummi nardos. They aren’t dupes, but that note is very present in both. Captivating, classic and feminine. It can be overwhelming in the height of summer. Excellent longevity, more than nine hours on clothes. Projection varies depending on sprays. It’s one of those scents anyone could love.
