Descripción

Nina Precious Gold by Nina Ricci is an oriental floral fragrance for women. This creation, launched in 2024, was designed by Olivier Cresp and Nicolas Bonneville. To me, it’s a vanilla orange blossom with a faint almond note. It’s very soft and has average longevity on my skin. Despite sharing notes with Girl of Now, I disagree with the similarity. In Precious Gold, the characteristic pistachio of the other isn’t felt, nor is it so sweet or powdery.

  • It smells similar to Elie Saab, but to me this is creamier, it’s gourmand and a delight. It has quite a trail and longevity.

  • Well, well… I adore all of Nina’s apples, but something curious happened when I tried this. For the first two hours, it reminded me of Coco Chanel Mademoiselle (the regular version). I don’t sense the pistachio or the orange. After that time, it’s similar to the Elie Saab one, and I’d even say Hypnotic Poison, but creamier as they say. So I won’t be buying it; it doesn’t seem original to me, it smells like many others. I’ll stick with her previous apples.

I bought it blind and loved it. Although Nina Ricci isn’t my favourite brand, it’s a rich, sweet, friendly and easy-to-wear perfume. I own the GON and at the first splash it reminded me of it, but I don’t think they are dupes. The Nina is a bit more ‘fresh’ than the Elie Saab one. It has an acceptable trail and good longevity; it lasts on clothes for days. The packaging is gorgeous.

  • I absolutely love it. It’s different from everything I own; I even bought the GON hoping for something similar, but it doesn’t have it. That rich touch of this Nina, that dance of sparkling sweets that come and go with that vanilla pistachio base, is unique. Should I let the GON macerate? I only sense a bit of that at the start. This Nina lasts for hours with that sweet, earthy, sparkling vanilla. Among the super-sweet ones, the closest is the GON, but this smells more ‘clear’ and the Nina like a dense ‘dark’ sweet. Rather than fresh, it’s acidic, yet so dense that its acidic notes dance between the sweetness and deepen it like stitches in the vanilla. Verdict: a delight, a resounding yes. It lingers on clothes indefinitely and puts me in a good mood to smell it on a garment; I rush to sniff it from the bottle. My best apple without a doubt. Sweet, bold, fun, enveloping, and addictive.

If it’s gourmand, don’t even try it. Why is it trendy to smell like a little cake? Our noses have been ruined.
