Descripción

Nina L'Eau by Nina Ricci is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by perfumer Olivier Cresp. The top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with apple, grapefruit, mandarin and neroli; the heart reveals a sweet and aquatic harmony with cherry, aquatic notes, gardenia and apple blossom; while the base settles on an enveloping musk.

  • A very good fragrance, slightly fresher and more enduring than Nina by Nina Ricci. It fixes well and reminds me of 212 Sexy…

  • It is very sweet, almost caramelised, and extremely long-lasting. In my opinion, it suits all seasons.

  • Carola-Ibañez

It reminded me very much of 212 VIP Rose. Fresh, youthful, red and sexy; although it is an eau fraîche, it has excellent staying power.

It reminded me very much of 212 Vip Rose. It’s fresh, youthful, red and sexy. Even though it’s an eau fraîche, it has excellent longevity.

  • It gives me a headache. I’m not sure if it’s some ingredient. The perfume dissipates leaving a heavy, cloying scent that I simply don’t like.

Rich. I wear it because it was a gift. It’s rich but nothing wow! However, people often ask what I’m wearing, so it must be pleasing!

In my first review, I forgot to mention this is the only perfume whose advertising truly hooked me. Bruno Coulais’s music from Coraline, plus a snowy owl (my favourite bird) and a white labyrinth, made me imagine a ‘white whirlwind’. I’ve lost count of the little bottles; I love it, and it even has my name on it. Notes: neroli and tangerine take the lead, followed by a light, syrupy cherry mist with white musk. The aquatic notes persist. It has good longevity, lasting nearly 6 hours with a soft trail. It’s here to stay, that’s a fact 🙂

  • In person, Nina Ricci perfumes smell absolutely delicious, yet I dislike that the Manzanita bottles all smell the same. My favourite is Niña L’ Elixir, sweet and perfect for autumn, but the others smell very similar: one soft, one strong, yet ultimately the same scent. This one is soft, sweet, and floral all at once. I like it, but not enough to buy. It feels tender, more suited to teenagers.

  • Among my favourites, this perfume is lovely and adorable. It’s a feminine fragrance that blends the best of floral and fruity notes, leaving a fresh and dreamy trail. Nina is almost perfect, though its only flaw is that it could last a bit longer; in the heat, I can tell it fades sooner, but it remains enchanting. I simply love it!

  • One of my favourites… it’s gorgeous and adorable, blending the best of floral and fruity notes to be fresh and dreamy. Nina is almost perfect; the only snag is it doesn’t last quite as long in the heat, but it remains enchanting—I simply love it!

The aquatic notes take away the charm; it’s as if they rudely woke me from a sweet dream.

Sweet and soft, yet with a fresh touch. It’s lovely, feminine and suitable for any occasion, though I think it’s better suited for daytime as it’s quite gentle. It gives off a youthful vibe.

  • Sweet, soft, but also a little fresh. It’s lovely, feminine, suitable for any occasion, but I feel it’s more for daytime because it’s quite soft. Youthful.

  • I love this perfume when I smell it. I asked them to apply it for me to check its longevity and decide whether to buy it. But the truth is it didn’t last at all, neither on the skin nor on the clothes. It has a good aroma.

  • I like it, although less than the Red Apple version which leaves more of a mark. Rich, youthful, charming, tea-like, captivating and not tiring. Ideal for daily use, it doesn’t invade.

Nina L’eau is one of the less popular flankers in the Nina line. Although it was heavily marketed, its success was merely average. Before trying to achieve commercial success, it seems the maison wanted to give notoriety to the new figure in the line following the suicide of the previous model. My relationship with Nina L’eau is irregular: sometimes it seems like an unimaginative flanker of Nina, and other times (the vast majority) it seems like an enchanting fragrance that surpasses the original. Although Fragrantica and Basenotes agree on the notes, the Nina Ricci website says it only has apple buds, white musk, frosted neroli and gardenia. Occasionally it seems more delicate and reserved than the original Nina, but in my experience it is vastly different. It begins with acidic, icy grapefruit, mixed with frosted neroli and mandarin; it’s fresh and citrusy, without the suffocating apple note of the original. Then cherry impregnates the base with its essence, attested by a warm gardenia and a sprig of spring apple. All balanced by a white musk that balances the composition. It’s very fruity and citrusy, adapting to a euphemism about what a fresh, summery fragrance means, without falling into the hypersexuality of other scents. In theory, it’s inspired by a white whirlpool (like its commercial), manifesting that fresh summer spirit. The trail is potent for the first 20 minutes, then fades to become a ‘skin scent’. Longevity is moderate, bordering on good in heat, and it’s very pertinent to the line, moving me despite my dislike for the original Nina.

Nina L’eau is one of the least popular flankers in the Nina line. Although it was heavily advertised, its success was merely average. Before attempting commercial success, the house seemed to want to give notoriety to the new figure of the line following the tragic end of the previous model. My relationship with Nina L’eau is irregular: sometimes it seems an unimaginative flanker, other times a charming fragrance that surpasses the line’s pillar. Although Fragrantica and Basenotes agree on the notes, the Nina Ricci website points to apple buds, white musk, frosted neroli and gardenia. Occasionally it seems a more delicate version of Nina (less brash, more reserved), but for the most part it expresses itself as something extremely divergent. It begins with acidic, icy grapefruit, mixed with frosted neroli and mandarin, showing a fresh and citrusy fragrance. Forget the suffocating apple note of the original, as Nina L’eau does not develop it (the mandarin leaves a microscopic hint of apricot). Then, the cherry impregnates the pristine ocean background, attested by a warm gardenia and a spring apple bud. Everything is balanced with a chlorhydric balance of white musk. It is extremely fruity and citrusy, adapting to a euphemism for millennials about what fresh and summery means, without falling into the hypersexuality of other fragrances. Inspired by an enveloping white whirlpool (like its commercial), it refers to the fresh, whitish spirit of summer angels. The trail is powerful for the first 20 minutes, then fades to become a ‘skin scent’. Longevity is medium, bordering on broad in heat (where I recommend it most). It is pertinent to its line, and although I dislike the original Nina, I remain moved by Nina L’eau.

  • A FAREWELL! I FEEL ANGRY AND SORRY. I CAN’T BELIEVE I SPENT MY MONEY ON THIS, WHICH DOESN’T LAST AT ALL. IT’S THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME WHERE IT DOESN’T LAST EVEN 30 MINUTES. THE SCENT IS SIMILAR TO THE CLASSIC NINA (red apple) but they’ve dissolved it in so much, so much water. It’s very faint; you’d have to get right up close to your skin to smell it. Thumbs down.

  • A total disappointment! I feel angry and let down. I can’t believe I spent my money on this; it doesn’t last at all. This is the first time this has happened, and it doesn’t even last 30 minutes. The scent is similar to the classic Nina (Red Apple), but they’ve diluted it with far too much water. It’s extremely soft; you’d have to brush against your skin to detect it. Thumbs down.

  • vanilla-lover

It smells delicious, very feminine and youthful, almost princess-like; however, in my case, it doesn’t last more than four hours. Although I love it, I wouldn’t buy it again due to its poor longevity and such a faint trail. If they could fix that, it would be my perfect everyday perfume.

  • Nina L’Eau starts with soft, delicate citrus. Unlike the original Nina, there’s no apple note or that sweetness here. I find it more delicate, with a floral touch that isn’t quite as ‘lively’. It’s less romantic and warm, but equally enchanting. I imagine that, like its bottle, it’s wrapped in a white mist: light, floating and alluring. Its longevity is short, no more than a couple of hours, after which you’ll have to seek it out on your clothes or press your nose right up against your skin. In my dressing table, I have both versions: the original Nina for dates with my partner or family gatherings, and Nina L’Eau ideal for going out with friends or a first date.

  • Perfect for summer; it’s rich but lacks projection, doesn’t last long on the skin and is really just for personal use. The strange thing is that on my skin it smells of white chocolate with a very soft woody base, nothing like the official notes. It’s a perfume for everyday wear.

  • saukimoon

To me, Nina Leau is addictive, with that perfect blend of citrus and sweetness. Ideal for spring, summer and autumn, perfect from morning till evening. On my skin, it opens with citrus notes of neroli and grapefruit, then softens with apple and cherry. That combination is perfect: a super rich, fruity and sweet scent that also lasts. I pair it with the striking body milk and it lasts six hours. It’s not overpowering, youthful but not childish. I recommend it a hundred per cent.

  • I love it; it lasts quite a while on my skin. I have a real preference for aquatic scents!

  • MarielRobert

This was my first ‘miss’ perfume, a gift for my XV birthday before university. I felt like a pretty, perfumed girl. Now that I’ve kept it and smell it again, I’m still enchanted. I’d wear it daily during the day; it’s sweet, highlighting apple, tangerine and jasmine. Certainly softer than the original Nina version.

  • locadelosperfumes

Very rich. Smells of caramelised, roasted apple. It’s very similar to the original but doesn’t last as long.

  • PrismaStar

It’s quite light, almost to the point of not smelling at all. It reminds me slightly of cherried Coca-Cola, but very subtly. It has the usual Nina DNA but toned down, removing the gourmand aspect to be very aquatic and floral. It’s perfect for 30-degree summer days so the skin can shine and refresh; with a bit of cold, it disappears completely.

  • I bought it small because they’re discontinuing it and I’ve remembered it since using it in 2012… Oh dear, it was a gem and they’ve ruined it clumsily!!!! They reduced the cherry and floral purity with aquatic molecules that make it smell like any other in the family… RIP to this creation!!!

  • Luciibelen15

It was my first imported perfume, a real treat. It’s super fresh and citrusy, pure summer. In my opinion, ideal for teenagers.

  • gothicnightmare

What a beautiful perfume! It’s cherried but not overpowering, fresh with a citrus touch, ideal for those of us who love smelling super sweet. I find the longevity better than other Nina scents; it’s not exceptional but quite good. I’m sad it’s no longer available; I hope to find a good dupe 🙁

  • My mother gifted this to me at 15 for school and dates. It became my hormonal anchor alongside the gym, giving me a certain control 😂. It smells of fresh, crisp green apple, sweet yet balanced by its aquatic notes. Compared to Cacharel’s Amor Amor, it lasts about six hours on skin and clothes. It made me feel cunning and reinforced my individualism, typical of that age 🫣. I used it recently and it’s brilliant for any season or day. Very rounded, perfect for young girls, and a joy to rediscover.
