Nina Soleil by Nina Ricci

Here’s a little gem. Soft, with little sillage and longevity, but a very well-balanced scent. On my skin, it highlights a creamy gardenia and the citrus note keeps it from being heavy. Perhaps it’s not a WOW scent or will dazzle anyone, but how the notes are balanced is an incredible experience. A super feminine, pleasant and wearable smell. They described it as ‘cozy’ and that’s exactly how it feels.

Late review for a fragrance already discontinued… when I bought it, I got a strong baby perfume vibe with soft, boring vanilla and citrus, and poor performance. I left it forgotten on my desk for almost two years. Now the teddy bear scent lasts an instant and leaves a citrus and cedar skin scent, which I actually like. However, I bought it looking for a solar, milky perfume with gardenia, and I didn’t find it here. What I ended up finding was the Montblanc Signature, which I could buy when it was just starting to become popular, as it seems it has been reformulated.

I’m not a fan of Nina Ricci perfumes as I find them too strong and they give me a headache… But this particular one I really like. I bought it for the whipped cream note combined with citrus, like a summer smell. It’s true that it doesn’t last at all; on my skin, at most an hour. But well…

Nina Ricci is synonymous with nostalgia for me, perhaps because it was my first designer perfume; in fact, I still keep one in my collection. Now, this flanker is very peculiar: it’s citrusy, yes, but not as commonly done by this type of fragrance. It’s citrusy, creamy, sweet and exquisite. In my opinion, it smells like Lemon Pie, one of my favourite desserts. Its sillage is very discreet and its performance isn’t very extensive, but it’s perfectly enjoyable on my skin for about 5 hours. Unfortunately, it was a special edition and I would love to have this scent in my collection when that bottle runs out.

Yamila uz, you’re not wrong, I bought it for 27 euros and I wouldn’t buy it again, although since I have it I must say the packaging is gorgeous; for people like us who are building our visual collection, it adds a touch. Now, it’s true that its longevity is 5 minutes and you might have been generous, which is quite sad because the notes are beautiful. I wonder why there are so many fragrances with this kind of performance that is… non-existent. Scent 7/10, Longevity 0/10, Sillage 0/10, Value for money 0/10, Versatility ?/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hahaahhaah, anyone can make a mistake.

Too much bergamot with a base of vanilla and whipped cream. I like the vanilla and whipped cream, but not the bergamot at all, and especially not the one that smells so strong. As it dries on the skin, the bergamot becomes subtler, but its presence can be ignored and my nose would prefer the bergamot note didn’t exist in Nina Soleil. If you like bergamot mixed with vanilla and whipped cream, give it a look and it smells like Nina Soleil. If you don’t like bergamot, direct your gaze and your nostrils towards a perfume like Alien Goddess by Mugler. In general, Nina Soleil was an adequate summer perfume launch for the Nina Ricci brand. Playful, refreshing, pleasant (unless you have a dislike for the smell of bergamot).

It’s like lemon cider with a milky touch. A lovely scent for spring and summer, and the bottle is beautiful. The issue is that it’s very soft and only noticeable when you’re close. The trail and longevity are scarce. Ideal for ‘apple’ perfume collectors seeking something summery but very discreet.

What a lovely mix of citrus and creams!!! I thought I’d find something repetitive but instead found a delicious, warm, slightly solar juice. I tried it in-store; only its sparkling opening caught me. The development isn’t as yellow as the bottle suggests, but rather a milky white, very suggestive. It’s sweeter than De Gioia Light (the latter is more floral and substantial). Moderate longevity, a quiet base, and a medium-low trail. I’ll think about buying it for summer weather, to meet friends on a summer afternoon.

It has that classic Nina Ricci apple touch, but this is something else entirely. It truly smells like summer: chilled vanilla, sunscreen, and lemon granita, perfect for intense sunny days.

Having a vanilla smoothie on a sunny afternoon. It has a citrus point to refresh all the creaminess, very present with a constant milk note. It’s a cream with citrus brushstrokes and slightly sweet, all at once. A beach summer perfume: vanilla smoothie, sun cream warming up in the bag, and a lemonade. It’s tender, easy, pleasant, and uniform. For lovers of summer perfumes like Escada or sweet ones like Olympea (which has a summer version with much in common with Nina Soleil), you’ll love it.

It looks gorgeous and I adore it. It smells incredibly like Chant d’Extase (that limited edition that costs an arm and a leg). It’s super cheerful and youthful, but the projection is weak and doesn’t last beyond four hours. Still, I like it very much.

What a shame this perfume is. Sorry, but I think it’s a scam. I tried it on skin and blotter in warm weather. Expensive baby lotion style that doesn’t project and doesn’t last at all. Barely described: soft creamy vanilla plus a citrus flash. That’s it. It can’t be unpleasant because it’s almost non-existent. I have Ricci Ricci and L’Extase Luna, both good with performance from acceptable to bomb. This one is forgettable 100%. In Argentina there are countless semi-selective options that do much better for a fraction of the price.
