The notes promise something tempting, but unfortunately, it seemed predictable, graceless, and unappealing. It has an obsolete and very cold air, similar to many men’s bath soaps. Longevity and trail are moderate.
Finally, I tried this collection. I am a brand follower despite the criticism; that does not make me any less impartial, it is a matter of perspective. 1) I liked it. 2) I expected a harsh musk, but it is not heavy at all. 3) It seemed very youthful. 4) I would buy it. 5) It is elegant for formal daytime events. 6) That blend of musk and marine notes is the first time I have smelled it and I loved it. 7) I had a deja vu with Bentley’s Azure in its fruity facet. 8) Well done, Il Cavallino Rampante. 9) Correction: I will buy it!
On the skin, Essence Musk shines with a fine soapy scent akin to Lacoste Blanc, then transitions to vetiver, cedar, and orange peel. I would wear it in summer and on romantic evenings. The musk ensures good longevity. With this luxury Essence line, Ferrari has taken a big step towards quality fine perfumery.
I have loved the entire Ferrari Essence line so far. Essence Musk is citrusy, aquatic, and musky; it gives that freshly showered feeling due to its soapy scent. Nothing more to add: it is fresh and clean, perfect for day wear. On my skin, it lasts nearly 10 hours, which is very good for a fresh aroma.
An elegant fragrance, ideal for spring or early summer (20-30 degrees) indoors. Projects well for an hour and a half, lasting six hours with a skin scent finish. Suitable for those over 30, with casual or semi-formal attire. It conveys maturity, confidence, and decisiveness. Reminds me of Givenchy cologne, but this Ferrari lasts and projects better.
