Faconnable Royal Eau de Parfum by Façonnable is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2018, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. Its structure unfolds with top notes of lavender and bergamot; a heart of sea water, geranium and nutmeg; and a base of cedar, sandalwood, moss and tonka bean.

An exquisite Mediterranean fragrance: lavender, sandalwood, geranium and marine notes reminiscent of traditional Cool Water. It sits alongside Abercrombie Blue, Cool Water Night Dive and resembles Invictus Intense as it dries down. It’s a unique personality blend, not a pure clone. The longevity is very good, congratulations Faconnable, I’ve finally found what I’ve been searching for years.
Bought blind and without regrets. It’s exquisite and fresh; although the brand says it’s for night, I find it totally versatile. At first spray, it smells of lavender, fresh citrus, menthol and wood, and it lasts quite a while. I’m surprised; it doesn’t smell like those generic fresh scents, you can tell the quality and the dedication.
Incredible fragrance! It’s versatile enough for day or night wear. The sillage is good and, in my opinion, it’s not very well known (at least here in Mexico), which is another point in its favour.
A total disappointment… the trail is very poor and, although the longevity is acceptable, it doesn’t compensate. The scent is underwhelming: too much lavender and nutmeg, nothing wonderful. I prefer classic Cool Water or any of its derivatives a million times over.
Elegant, versatile and it delivers. An exquisite lavender dominates with sea water notes; geranium and nutmeg occasionally peek through. It finishes with sandalwood and moss. It turned out more formal than I expected when buying it blind, but I’ve absolutely loved it.
