  • Rich, one of my favourites. A bit heavy but ideal for romantic outings, just be careful with the amount you apply.

  • Delicious! It’s one of my favourites. It’s a little heavy, but ideal for romantic outings. Just be careful with the amount applied; moderation is key.

  • I loved the scent; I liked it on the blotter, I’ll see how it reacts on my skin. It’s floral, talcum-like, creamy, soapy, and fresh; you feel clean but elegant and classic. Without a doubt, it’s like the sister of Anais Anais by Cacharel and Beautiful by Estée Lauder. I don’t care what they say about it being a lady’s scent; I love it.

  • Orlane fragrances are authentic vintage, very good, and also economical. Generally quite nocturnal, both the feminine and masculine ones.

  • What nostalgia! My first French perfume. I was 14 or 15 and, since I can remember, I used to die for my mum’s perfumes: Volupté, Miss Valentino, Gio, Poison, Magic Noire, Paloma Picasso. I’d bury my nose in them and travel with those scents. It was an indescribable pleasure. One day I heard it in a perfumery and told my mum I wanted it for my birthday. It was a one-way trip. Since then, I’ve been unable to curb my addiction to perfumes; they are my undoing. I can have 15, 20, it doesn’t matter how many, I use them all and always look for something new. I loved this because it was floral, fresh, long-lasting and perfect for my age. Later I ventured into Laguna, Eau de Laguna Montana, One, Escape, Eternity, Aqua Di Gio. But Fleurs d’Orlane was my first love.

  • What nostalgia, my first French perfume!!!!! I was 14/15 years old and since I can remember I died for the perfumes my mum wore: Volupté, Miss Valentino, Gio, Poison, Magic Noire, Paloma Picasso. I would bury my nose in them and travel with those scents. It was an indescribable pleasure. One day I felt this fragrance in a perfumery and told my mum I wanted her to gift it to me for my birthday. It was a one-way trip. From that moment on, I couldn’t stop my addiction to perfumes; they are my ruin. I can have 15, 20, it doesn’t matter how many I have, I use them all and always seek a new fragrance. I loved this particular perfume because it was floral, fresh, long-lasting on my skin, and totally suitable for my age. Then I started to dare more: Laguna, Eau de Laguna Montana, One, Escape, Eternity, Aqua Di Gio. But Fleur d’Orlane was my first love.

It happens to me like it does to Pipisroom. It was my first French perfume, at 14 years old. I found it again in Spain for €36 and didn’t hesitate. It smells the same; they haven’t reformulated it. Floral, sweet, soft, wonderful. EXQUISITE is its definition. I don’t know how it doesn’t have more fame; for me, it touches perfection. The only drawback is that it is an EDT and doesn’t last as long as an EDP, but certainly, when I finish it, I will buy it again and again.

  • I can’t believe it; I have the 1983 version in my memory trunk with little substance left. I used it drop by drop to remember it. Suddenly it appeared on Orlane’s counter and I saw they not only had facial treatments but also a toning water with the same name in a simple bottle. Curiosity got the better of me; I applied it discreetly and left thinking it was just another imitation. Indeed, at first came the chemical fixatives, but then came the surprise: it smells too similar and lasts for hours at a good price. The scent is classic, timeless, floral, and talcum-like. A feminine composition for refined dolls, not for hollow Barbies.

  • This is the perfume of my adolescence. I haven’t found it yet, but I will. Without a doubt, it is exquisite.

  • I just bought it and it’s a delight!! A delicate, youthful, and romantic floral. Good sillage and longevity. Ideal for a bride on her wedding day; it’s clean, pure, and exquisite.

  • I remember admiring this perfume as a teenager until I was sick of it: the elongated bottle with a clear cap, a formula from the early 2000s that was very faithful to the original. Fleur d’Orlane is an intense floral bouquet with diverse nuances and a strident yet velvety structure. Upon spraying, I felt a halo of colours that drew a floral landscape in my mind, just like the drawing on the box. It held nothing back; it gave everything, not because it was expensive, but because it was extremely well made and crafted. Its blend of green notes with a spiced mist wraps around creamy flowers (lily, narcissus, carnation) over a base of amber musk and honey. The peach and woods are subtle; the flowers are the protagonists. This gem was up there with a Beautiful by Estée Lauder or a Jardin de la Bagatelle by Guerlain, with that same intense bouquet, although each has its differences in execution. A faithful representative of the 80s, its scent deserves to be worn with a floral dress and matching makeup; the looks and compliments would be magnetic. Unfortunately, in mid-2010 it suffered its worst reformulation and today it is a tragedy. I find it hard to say this because I generally defend reformulations, but here the difference is abyssal. Try to get the pre-reformulation version; if you try the current one and then the old one, you won’t go back, I guarantee it.

A floral that’s too intense for me. I remembered it as spring-like and sparkling; the reformulated version overwhelms me and ends with a headache; I regret not being able to wear it. I’ve given it many chances but I’ll have to let it go. Beautiful bottle and ten-hour longevity with a satisfactory price.

A floral that is too intense for me. I remembered it as spring-like and sparkling, but the reformulation suffocates me and ends with a headache. I’m sorry I can’t wear it. I gave it many chances, but I’ll have to let it go. A beautiful bottle and it lasts 10 hours with a satisfactory price.

  • I bought it blindly based on the good reviews and… what a disappointment! For me, it’s a disaster. It smells very classic and vintage, nothing youthful or wearable, just annoying. I want to get rid of it without a second thought.

  • I bought it online following YouTube recommendations and it disappointed me, as other reviews say: it’s intense, suffocating and tickles the nose; applying less doesn’t work either, it smells like flowers in alcohol to make it stronger. I wore it for three weeks without chemistry and regretted the expense; the bottle is beautiful, but mine doesn’t come with the bow. EDIT: I gave it another chance after three months without using it and I loved it. I use it daily, almost finished it, my nose has got used to it.

  • I bought it online following YouTube recommendations and was disappointed, as some said before: it’s intense, overwhelming and stings the nose; applying a little doesn’t help; it’s like flowers in alcohol to make them smell stronger. I’ve worn it for three weeks and there’s no chemistry; it’s a waste of money. The bottle is beautiful; mine doesn’t come with the bow. EDIT: I gave it another chance after three months without using it and I loved it; I wear it daily and am almost out of it; my nose has got used to it.

I regret the negative comments. I understand you may not like it, but I don’t share adjectives like ‘horrible’. Fleurs is refined, very feminine, romantic, innocent and clean. It’s a well-made floral of those that are no longer found. I consider it the cousin of Anais Anais, but much lighter, especially compared to the un-reformulated Anais. I find it beautiful.

I’m sorry for the recent negative comments. I understand not everyone takes to it, but I don’t share adjectives like ‘horrible’. Fleurs is a fine perfume, very feminine, romantic and innocent. It’s a well-made floral, one of those that are becoming rare. I see it as a cousin of Anais Anais, but much lighter, especially compared to the pre-reformulation version. I find it exquisite.

  • giselistica

God didn’t give the lily note even ten cents, and the powdery notes give me a headache, yet what a feminine and elegant perfume; it smells clean. I tried it in winter and it doesn’t overwhelm; it’s white flowers without sweetness, with plenty of musk. It’s a white, romantic and innocent perfume. The opening is dated, but in the dry-down the super-dominant carnation takes over, followed by narcotic white flowers in musk. You can’t detect the amber or honey; it’s like laundry starch, not very vintage but certainly classic. It doesn’t resemble the reformulated Anais Anais, which is very powdery and suffocating. Don’t expect trendy sweetness; it’s a soapy white floral, slightly powdery, without sweetness. Medium longevity, a bit heavy sillage.

  • I’ve just bought it; according to the batch, it’s from 2015. I find it intensely floral, perceiving more white flowers, with a herbal touch from the green notes and jasmine. Ideal for summer in Mexico.

  • Classic, timeless and unforgettable. It’s ideal for feeling fresh and radiant, regardless of age. Feminine and magnetic. It suits the day well without being overpowering and highlights femininity on summer evenings. It’s like walking surrounded by flowers.

A beautiful, very refined and elegant floral. I wish I could smell the original from 1983. If this reformulation is a delight, the original must have been a jewel, a floral work of art. It suits a woman, accompanying her without overwhelming and radiating femininity. Buy it blind; it was a total success.
