It starts strong with a sweet cloud, almost like cough syrup, pleasant, with coffee notes ever-present and an inoffensive citrus, not acidic, like lemonade with a touch of grapefruit and mandarin. The scent changes considerably in the first 10 minutes until settling into something linear and soft that doesn’t project beyond a metre. Very sweet, sumptuously elegant, in my opinion not for hot climates. A sugary, easy-to-understand aroma.
At first glance, nothing justifies the price. It’s what you’d expect from a designer. It feels like ‘okay, not much quality but makes up for it with longevity’ or vice versa. But neither, nor any impression that surprises. A good perfume, nothing more.
More sexy than the Golden Dallah (which I already own), it’s a compliment magnet and best of all: a scent only you will wear. It has class, is sexy, slightly sweet, citrusy with a spicy kick, a non-pretentious blend of rose and oud, incredible.
