Descripción
Ilía Ser by Natura is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2021, this composition was created by perfumer Verônica Kato. The top notes of lavender and bergamot make the first impression; the heart reveals jasmine, rose and valley lily (spikenard); while the base settles with Madagascar vanilla, amber, benzoin, coumarin, musk, guaiac wood, heliotrope and patchouli.

It’s a very interesting piece in Natura’s portfolio. It’s tremendously vanilla-infused, but not bakery vanilla; rather, old-school vanilla: dry, slightly toasted, with a dark hint. It’s a perfume built around vanilla. On the opening, it has something very vintage, making it doubly interesting. I don’t think it will please easily or mass-market; it requires effort from those not used to scents from other eras. Ilia Ser is sweet, yes, but not as the mass industry has accustomed us to. On the opening, lavender stands out for a moment, giving a vintage effect (not the one from Mon Guerlain). Then it becomes a bit floral and finally settles on a harmony of amber, benzoin, coumarin, and vanilla that sounds like a solid single chord. From time to time, it reminds me of Kenzo Tiger for that warm, moderate spicy tone. It’s lovely to find perfumes with their own identity that are what they want to be without twists. It’s worth knowing. A great job by Verónica Kato and an interesting bet by Natura.
A gem in Natura’s portfolio: a vintage-school vanilla, dry, toasted, and with a dark twist, far from the current sweet and pastry-like trends. The entire fragrance revolves around it. The opening is super vintage; perhaps that hint of lavender, which isn’t the classic Mon Guerlain version, gives it that retro air. It then moves through a floral phase before settling into a solid base of amber, benzoin, cumaru, and vanilla that sound like a single block. Sometimes it reminds me of Kenzo Tiger for that warm, moderate spicy tone. It’s a fragrance with its own identity, no-nonsense, and worth trying for the great work by Verónica Kato and Natura’s bold move.
This ‘Ser’ or ‘You’ lives up to its name because opinions are hugely varied; I think it depends on the skin and personality. For me, it’s right in the middle: creamy and dry, sweet and bitter, sensual yet distant. It’s like the midpoint between a poison and a medicine. I absolutely love it.
I think this perfume lives up to its name ‘Ser’ or ‘You’, as I rarely see such disparate opinions. Perhaps it suits the personality or skin of the wearer. For me, it sits midway between creamy and dry, sweet and bitter, sensual and distant. It’s like the middle ground between a poison and a medicine. I love it.
It’s a vanilla explosion that envelops, intoxicates, and lasts for at least eight hours with great intensity. In the opening, I don’t smell lavender, perhaps a very faint bergamot, but vanilla always dominates. Among the florals, I could detect a minimal touch of jasmine invaded by that powerful vanilla alongside undefined amber and spices. The aroma boils down to vanilla and amber; I consider it ideal for cold temperatures on any occasion. I love vanilla, and so far, it’s the most complete of all Natura’s fragrances. In short, it’s muuuy rich, and although it has high projection and smells like a cake, I don’t find it problematic. I recommend it to all lovers of this scent; you’ll be very happy and need very few sprays.

It’s similar to Avon’s Far Away Royale :v
It’s a delight, as if Hypnotic Poison and Montblanc Signature had a child made with lots of love. A very good surprise from this Illia line. In Mexico, it’s called Illia, so go buy it!
I spotted it on a year-end sale and headed straight to FragranceNet to check the notes and reviews, as the ones at Natura are very general. Seeing it had vanilla and coumarin, which are my favourite notes, I thought nothing could go wrong, and indeed, it’s perfect for me. I applied it at 11 am and it’s 11 pm now, and I can still smell it. I agree with some: it feels creamy, powdery, very warm, with that vintage vanilla they mention. It’s a rare type of vanilla these days. It reminds me of Kiss Sexy from Halloween. As they say, it’s similar to Poison H. It’s not cloying; if you like vanilla, you’ll love it. I’m super happy with my purchase. Thanks to the reviews, I was able to decide. 🥰

Seeing it had vanilla and cumaru, I thought nothing could go wrong, and indeed, it’s perfect for me. I put it on at 11 am and could still smell it at 11 pm. I agree with several others: it’s creamy, talcum-like, very warm, and features that uncommon vintage vanilla today. It reminds me of Kiss Sexy by Halloween and Poison H. It’s not cloying; if you like vanilla, you’ll adore it. I’m super happy with the purchase; thanks to your reviews, I was able to decide.
It’s pure, vintage, boozy, and dry vanilla, very elegant. Occasionally I catch hints of jasmine and sometimes even a bit of coconut (though it’s not declared). It’s ideal for evenings and cold days; a very warm and intense aroma that lasts days on my skin. I bought it blind and wouldn’t recommend doing that; better to test it first. It’s not an easy perfume to like. I loved it at first, but over time I grew tired of it and couldn’t finish the bottle.
Ilia Ser Natura is sweet, creamy, vanilla-infused, elegant, and warm, making it ideal for cold weather. It bears a strong resemblance to Hypnotic Poison, which is creamier, sweeter, and sexier. Scent 10, packaging 9, projection 9, trail 8. Would I buy it again? No, I prefer Hypnotic Poison as it lasts longer and smells sweeter. As soon as you spray it, you get a creamy sweet vanilla with a hint of coconut (not declared) that’s noticeable. You can’t really detect the florals; it’s pure dessert vanilla with a touch of caramel. I’d advise testing it on your skin before buying, just to be sure 😉
The vanilla feels too much; it’s liquorish and honestly, I bought it because I loved its purple sibling. I’m 21 years old, and personally, I find it very strong, very adult due to the warmth and character it has.
The vanilla here is way too prominent; it’s boozy and honestly, I bought it because I loved its purple sibling. I’m 21 years old and for me, it smells very strong and quite mature due to its warmth and character.
It’s a super sweet fragrance, absolutely obsessed with vanilla, yet not cloying at all. I wear it day and night without any issues. The longevity is moderate and the projection is average, but for the price, it’s a steal. 3/5
💞Ooohhh it is exquisite 💜💜💜 Super sweet, vanilla, and amber with an amazing gourmand touch, my favourite Natura perfume 💚. If you like Christian Dior’s Hypnotic Poison, you will love it..💯 A delicious madness 💓 One-way trip 🥰
Wow. I was impressed. My cousin, my mum, and my aunt were amazed by its exquisite scent. It is a quite present vanilla, very seductive without losing elegance, nothing vulgar. Truly what a delicious aroma. I had doubts since there are comments indicating that not everyone may like it, but sincerely I cannot imagine anyone saying they do not like it. It is very rich. If you like sweet, vanilla-infused, and sensual scents, then this perfume is for you. Applause.
Blessed winter January weather, which allows me to enjoy this Ilía version from morning. It is an achievement that Natura has managed to make me love the vintage vanilla of Givenchy’s Organza, which I hated for years. In Ilía Ser, there is more than one type of vanilla; this is a homage to the vanilla of Madagascar and Bahia, honoured with bunches of roses that also stand out quite a bit. Although there is a point where it reminds me of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison, it is that rice powder smell of Mademoiselle that they share, which lasts little. I sense it is more similar to Tom Ford’s Vainilla Fatale. It is a great fragrance in which vanillas, amber, flowers, and woods (sandalwood, also known as Guaiac wood) predominate. A warm, sexy, cosy fragrance to use on non-hot days, to become the fiery oasis in the midst of a snowy landscape or grey stormy days…
Dry and woody vanilla. It is not sweet at all; in my opinion, it stands well on mature skins. If you like strong, vanilla-infused perfumes but without too much sweetness, it is ideal for you. I barely tried mine and did not like the opening, but after half an hour I started to enjoy it. Its trail is good; perfect for cool nights.

It has an oily consistency and lasts quite a while (4-5 hours). Do not judge it by its opening, because it sweetens and becomes more friendly as it evolves. Very oriental and vanilla-infused (not gourmand), ambered, creamy, and cosy. I do not sense any flowers or citrus anywhere. It has warmth, making it ideal for winter, having a hot drink by the fire with wool clothing. Just like that 😁
What a delightful surprise to find a great fragrance like this in Natura’s catalogue. For my nose, it is 95% similar to a Guerlain perfume I love and which is discontinued: Shalimar Parfum Initial. It is also compared to Shalimar EDP, but it is more similar to the Initial (I own and love both). It differs only in the lavender opening (though it is very timid in Ilía) and perhaps in that it lacks the earthiness of the vetiver present in SPI; on the other hand, SPI has more evolution and defined facets, but I cannot distinguish them in the dry-down. I do not find it similar to Far Away Royale or Hypnotic Poison. Among current fragrances, I would say it is in the line of Rochas’ Byzance (in the line, not identical), but it is extremely similar to Shalimar Parfum Initial.
I love it; it’s one of my favourite Ilia scents. I bought it from my consultant because she found it abandoned in stock and offered it to me at a good price. I feel the main notes are the creamy base with vanilla, patchouli, and amber. The floral phase is also creamy. It’s very nocturnal and for special occasions, although I wear it during the day because I’m a bit of a show-off. I’ve received many compliments.

My favourite perfume from the Ilía line. It is so romantic, striking, and enveloping. I love wearing it in winter because I feel it is a warm scent. It is not an overwhelming sexy scent; it is seductive but in a discreet way. It is perfect. It is a different kind of vanilla that envelops everything.
I would not recommend it; for me, it’s a 0/10. It smells of vanilla, but not sweet—rather bitter and very strong; also an atrocious amber that I identified as nothing else. I bought it blindly because they said it was pure vanilla, and I was pleasantly surprised in a bad way. It smells of a very elderly lady and is extremely strong; it wouldn’t wash out even after 200 washes and it made my stomach turn. I gifted it to someone else; for me, it’s a resounding no.

I couldn’t identify anything else; I bought it blindly because they said it was pure vanilla, but it surprised me for the worse. It smells like a very elderly lady and is very strong; there was no way it would go away even after washing myself 200 times, and it upset my stomach. I gave it away; for me, it’s an absolute no.
Red roses and vanilla with a metallic touch that I absolutely adore. I wear it on cold or rainy days; it inspires sensuality but also light and the warmth of a hug. I like it for personal enjoyment, though it’s not bad for a night out either. It’s an oriental fragrance that radiates majesty.
