Descripción

Una Blush by Natura is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by Verônica Kato and Antoine Maisondieu. The top notes unfold with citrus, ginger, and bergamot; the heart reveals orange blossom, white hawthorn, and valley lily (lily of the valley); while the base notes settle on vanilla, amber, and sandalwood.

  • Brazilian reviews say it’s sweet. The opening carries the imprint of orange blossom with slight metallic tones, as if it had a hint of petigrain. From the very beginning it’s a sweet floral because the vanilla is present from start to finish: a well-constructed creamy vanilla. In the mid-phase, the sweetness drops a bit and the ginger appears, giving a fresh touch of spice. The base is a sweet vanilla and cumaru (tonka bean). It’s also related to Armani Code, Good Girl, and Cashmere, and to a lighter version of Avon’s Far Away. YouTuber Thais Pimentel mentions it.

  • In Brazil, it’s seen as sweet: opens with orange blossom and a metallic petigrain touch. The creamy vanilla is there from start to finish, though we’ve seen it before. In the heart, the sweetness dips slightly as ginger enters, adding a spicy freshness. The base is vanilla and cumaru (tonka bean in Portuguese). It’s compared to Armani Code, Good Girl, and Cashmere, as well as a lighter version of Avon’s Far Away. Source: Thais Pimentel.

  • 15/12/2019 – A month later I received a sample. From the start, the tonka bean is noticeable, not pure vanilla; it’s the same as in Una Senses: sweet, round, and ambered. The opening is marked by that note, almost cloying, but then it fades to let a very delicate orange blossom emerge, similar to Flor de Laranjeira, with a citrus contribution. It’s delicious! I didn’t detect the ginger. It has a beautiful paper-like air. Almost three hours later, I understand why it’s compared to Armani Code, but this Blush isn’t powdery; it stays creamier, fresher, and sweet at the same time. It becomes floral and ethereal, a beautiful delicacy. The projection is good and the longevity seems to be too, although it’s hard to say with a stick sample. I’d love to own it, but my supplier ran out of stock. Alas, I hope they don’t discontinue it. If you want to know what it smells like, it’s like mixing two parts of Flor de Laranjeira with one part of Una Senses, just a bit fresher. 17/10/2020 – Finally it arrives in Argentina; by the way, it was discontinued in Brazil. In the magazine for Natura consultants, it states: Top (Bergamot, Ginger, citrus), Heart (Orange Blossom, Lily of the Valley, Breu branco) and Base (Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood). The brief description says ‘sweet oriental, intense’, highlighting the orange blossom, lily of the valley, and white breu notes.

  • The Una line is top-notch: good longevity and sophisticated scents. To me, this is the most sensual; it opens with lily and ginger wrapped in tonka bean, which sometimes gives a soapy sensation. The orange blossom is present throughout, and as it settles, white sandalwood and benzoin become noticeable, finishing with creamy caresses.

As soon as it arrived, I loved it. It reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique in the opening, but Blush is more modern. I find it fresh and creamy, very versatile, with a scent that most people enjoy. It lasts on me for about five hours, with intense sillage for the first two hours and then moderate.

  • The Una line has great quality and longevity. This fragrance is the most sensual: lily and ginger notes wrapped in tonka bean, which sometimes gives a soapy sensation. The orange blossom flowers remain throughout, and as it settles, you can feel the sandalwood with white breu, finishing in caresses of creaminess.

  • On my skin, it smells sweet, vanilla-infused, and creamy throughout its entire life, around five hours. It’s strange that it becomes so soft after a short while. It reminds me a lot of Pepe Jeans for Her, although the latter is cloying.

Finally, the temperatures have dropped and I can wear this jewel. I bought it blindly in a Natura kit with a mask and it was a bargain. Upon opening it, ‘Puufff!’, it exceeded my expectations. The mirror-finish pink bottle and abstract box scream premium quality. It’s one of the best aromas I’ve ever worn: floral, citrusy, with sweet creamy vanilla and that warm oriental touch ideal for temperate or cold climates. It matches Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense, although this one has honey. It could be a bride’s perfume; it makes a woman feel beautiful, sensual, free, and welcoming.

  • Thefragrancelover

It opens with citrus and ginger, giving a spicy touch only at the start, briefly reminding one of the opening of Armani Code. Then orange blossom takes over with a woody base of sandalwood and Breu-Branco, that Amazonian resin which adds a spiced aroma. It reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique but more woody. It’s the least potent in the Una line, with moderate sillage and one-and-a-half-hour projection, yet it lasts between six and seven hours.

  • Very rich and sweet! I detect nothing citrusy; it’s a potent sweet scent. The first time I wore it, it lasted hours and was noticeable until evening. I’d wear it for going out rather than everyday use, taking advantage of its potency. I think it suits any season, though in heat it could become cloying if you’re not a fan of intense sweetness.

  • Delicious when dry, it smells very much like Mugler Aura: a sweet, creamy vanilla that is simply enchanting.

  • I absolutely love it: from the first spray it’s delicate, but on the skin it explodes like a bomb. It adds character to anyone, young or old, and works equally well for romantic dates or giving you a confidence boost. The ginger is softened, almost like cotton candy, and the orange blossom isn’t bitter or excessively sweet, but fresh. Even those who don’t usually like sweet scents adore it. 100% recommended; I’ll be buying it for years to come. I fell in love with this fragrance; once you smell it, you never forget it, and it refines your sense of smell.

  • How lovely! Sweet, creamy, with medium trail and short longevity. The orange blossom, citrus, and white florals are prominent, along with that sweet creamy vanilla. I detect it as identical to Benetton’s United Dreams Stay Positive. I wore it on a 35-degree summer day and it was a delightful, powdery sweet treat, lasting for hours. It exudes a gentle well-being. I’d define it as elegant, sophisticated, and suitable for everything: from a formal wedding to staying in slippers on the sofa with popcorn. I loved it and have already restocked.

  • It’s very nice, sweet and creamy, with a medium trail and short longevity. The orange blossoms, citrus and white flowers are perceived strongly, as well as that creamy sweet vanilla opening. I perceive it exactly like United Dreams Stay Positive by Benetton. I used it again in a summer of 35 degrees and it’s a delightful sweet and powdery scent that stays alive for hours and hours. It manages to exalt a gentle feeling of well-being. I would define it as elegant, sophisticated and suitable for any event, from a formal wedding to staying in slippers on the sofa with a bucket of popcorn. I loved it, so I have backups so I don’t miss it.

Wow on the opening! Very metallic and strong, then it softens and the sweetness emerges. I note a strong resemblance to Armani Code. It didn’t seem novel to me; the powdery vibe gives it a vintage feel. Nevertheless, I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it. It lasted a week on blotting paper. Edit: I bought it in February, haha, I couldn’t wait. I’d only tried it on paper, but it’s different on skin. The white florals are like those in Ilià Lazos (which I dislike for being 90% floral), but here there are more citrus notes, more sweetness, and an oriental imprint with a powdery touch. It projects heavily, is enveloping, and I like it even though it’s not gourmand. I put it aside in May 2024 because the opening put me off and it rarely gets cold where I live. I must highlight that I’d never had a catalogue perfume last so long on skin and clothes.

At first it was wow, very metallic and strong. Then it faded and the sweetness emerged. I note a great resemblance to Armani Code. It didn’t seem innovative to me; it has vintage airs (due to being powdery). Nevertheless, I liked it but wouldn’t buy it again. It lasted a week on blotting paper. Edit: I bought it in Feb/23, haha, I couldn’t wait. I had only tested it on paper, but on skin it’s noticeably different. The white flowers are the same as in Ilia Lazos (which I don’t like because it’s 90% floral), but here it has more citrus and sweetness, plus that oriental imprint and powdery touch. It constantly exhales, it’s enveloping, I like it even though it’s not gourmand. I left it in May/24 because the opening put me off and it hardly ever gets cold where I live. I must highlight that I’d never had a catalogue perfume last so many hours on skin and days on clothes.

  • danzaesencia

This intense sweet oriental scent is missed. It’s not gourmand; both Una Instinct and Luna Radiante recall it in Natura, and I regret that those have been discontinued. I perceive the vanilla and orange blossom accompanying the notes, especially the bergamot opening, the amber middle, and the delicious white myrrh (Amazonian incense) in the dry down. It’s very potent; a single spray lasts me more than four hours. It doesn’t seem cloying to me. It’s an oriental treasure of neroli, vanilla and amber. Sublime. It reminds me of Le Parfum by Elie Saab.

  • I went along with the reviews and bought it, but unfortunately, it didn’t suit me. At first, I found it very strong, metallic, with the ginger too prominent, giving me a headache. Over time, it softens and becomes slightly more pleasant, but it still doesn’t fully convince me. Note: it has a wide trail and good longevity. Be careful with the sprays.

  • I let myself be swayed by the reviews and bought it, but unfortunately, it didn’t suit me. At first, I found it very strong, metallic, with the ginger too prominent, and it gave me a headache. Over time it softens and becomes slightly more pleasant, but it still doesn’t quite convince me. That said, I must highlight its extensive trail and longevity. Watch out with the sprays!

  • Blush is a honeyed floral, very feminine, one of my favourites from Natura. I perceive it with a predominant orange blossom note, accompanied by honeyed vanilla with resins and a slightly powdery base. It’s potent at the start, but thanks to the good performance of the house’s EDPs, it lasts six hours or more. It reminded me of Ilia Lazos, but Blush is less strident, better executed, with more balance and sophistication. Personally, it evokes Olympea Intense by Paco Rabanne for me, but incredibly, Blush has better performance. Ideal for lovers of orange blossom.

  • Alfonsinagi

I love this perfume; I had it in 2021 when it launched and I still miss it now that it’s been discontinued in Argentina. However, be warned: on my skin I didn’t perceive it as citrusy; it was one of those cloying sweets that tire the olfactory senses, though I miss it immensely.

  • I use it quite a bit, almost all year round (except on super hot days, where one spray is enough). On my skin, bergamot predominates at the start and slowly transitions to the heart. But the amber is very noticeable along with the vanilla; it’s super sweet! That’s why I use it carefully to keep it pleasant and not invasive. It lasts a long time, about eight hours of base. I choose it, but it’s not very innovative.

  • fauxbeatpoet

One of my best blind buys! It’s intoxicating, delicious, and refined all at once. It’s sweet but not overwhelming, with a rich trail. My only complaint: in new batches, it lasts no more than two hours. It’s pricey (around $50 in Argentina) for having to reapply, but it’s DIVINE and I have no regrets.

  • fauxbeatpoet

One of my best blind buys! It’s intoxicating, very delicious and refined at the same time. It’s sweet but not overwhelming, leaving an exquisite trail. My only complaint is that in new batches it doesn’t last more than two hours. And it’s quite pricey (in Argentina it’s around $50 USD) for having to reapply so often. But it’s DIVINE. No regrets.

  • I hope they update the photo; it now comes in baby pink with pink floral patterns. It’s a sweet bomb where the orange blossom and vanilla stand out, with a delicious citrus opening that’s very cheerful and fun. The longevity and trail are incredible. It’s classified as gourmand. It’s all-rounder, but you need to be careful with the number of sprays because if you overdo it, it can become invasive. Delicious but nothing groundbreaking. If you like orange blossom or vanilla, buy it blind because it doesn’t disappoint.

  • I absolutely love it! It starts citrusy for a few hours before turning super sweet. I really enjoy that evolution and the vanilla base. I wear it in spring, summer, and even into autumn. The trail and longevity are top on my skin. Natura never fails. Another gem from the line is Natura Artisan, Art in Argentina.

  • Melissarinana

It’s a perfume that lasts quite a while with a spray you have for the whole day. At first I don’t enjoy its opening much but the base is very good. I’ve had it for years as I tell you you don’t need much with two sprays you’re marked all day.

  • It’s a very beautiful perfume. It reminds me a lot of the Discontinued Classique Essence by Gaultier which I also adore.

  • I just acquired it and it has surprised me in a good way. Delicate sweet floral. I agree with some comments that the opening isn’t my favourite part but in the dry-down that beautiful fragrance appears which beyond being delicate is well present and noticeable. I really like it a lot even more than many others in my designer collection. It’s not novel it’s real but that doesn’t stop it from being an excellent perfume.

  • Leslie Lisak

Longevity of over 10 hours on average on me. When there’s very high humidity this drops on my skin and on dry and fresh days like today it increases: I’ve been tracking a Blush on my skin and it’s already been 14 hours. I applied it at 9 AM and all afternoon having changed clothes I could feel bursts of the perfume reaching me. Now being 11 PM I asked my boyfriend to smell my neck because I felt the perfume was still there and indeed: he said he could smell it. As for me I’m not one of those who like gourmand perfumes so I don’t like any sweet perfume. And the sweetness of this one I love. It’s something like a marshmallow-like sweet sweetness but without being a gourmand perfume as it has a floral heart that’s ‘metallic’ (I love it) and a spicy-citrus opening with ginger. This is the only thing I would change about this perfume: I would lower the ginger a bit though not remove it entirely. I had my boyfriend compare the freshly sprayed perfume with the perfume on my neck; he said the one from the bottle comes out ‘as if you’re tickled (and he points to the throat) by a lemon mixed with a rich sweet’ and it’s true. Also it’s a fragrance that moves slowly to its heart notes so that ginger (which seems like freshly grated root mixed with that exquisite marshmallow-like sweetness of the Blush) will last something like 2 hours decreasing in intensity progressively. In conclusion this would be my third favourite perfume (first Alien second Libre) of my small collection if all its performance was like its heart and dry-down which evoke a young and fresh but elegant woman to me. I read that a girl said it’s similar to Scandal and honestly they have a similar sweetness only that the Blush lacks that honey/bee wax so present (which I don’t like). Anyway I think any nose that has tried a few scents can recognise this is a good perfume.

  • abriluchiperfumistica

I’m going to risk saying what I’m about to say but I say it very confidently because my boyfriend confirmed it. When I first sprayed it I thought: ‘it reminds me of a beloved perfume I already own: Scandal Le Parfum’ it’s very similar but I didn’t want to say anything so as not to look crazy. Today I applied it on the second day I have it my boyfriend told me: ‘it reminds me of one you already have’. I asked which one knowing he doesn’t pay much attention to scents and for him almost all my perfumes are the same. He said: ‘Scandal’ and that confirmed it wasn’t just my impression. It’s honestly very similar with that distance given by the sweet citrus/lemon note. In my opinion it smells like that: sweet citrus but surprisingly it’s very similar to Scandal Le Parfum and I’m surprised no one has highlighted it. Longevity is quite poor for an EDP just like the projection but I bought it blindly in an exchange and honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I consider it could be perfectly suitable for all year round thanks to that citrus note however sweet it may be.

  • Completely agree with abriluchi. I ordered it because I’m a fan of Natura and I liked the packaging. At first I only sensed it smelled like a bouquet of roses… I’m not a fan of roses but today when it was raining I thought: ‘I want to smell like this’. And all day long I’ve been thinking I already own this perfume… but which one is it? Then today when I greeted a colleague he said: ‘those JPG perfumes are great aren’t they?’. I only own the Divine from JPG and the note they share is bergamot. So I went down to Sanborns because I remembered I tried another from the same line and liked it. Yes I can smell it’s very similar to Scandal. In the end the trail isn’t that good but in a greeting you can feel the little scent. I like it.

  • FloorPerfumeadicta

It’s beautiful a Blush. Pity its longevity it leaves me wanting. I can detect the ginger orange blossom citrus vanilla amber and lily; I don’t feel the other notes. It’s a fresh sweet citrusy cheerful fragrance ideal for summer. It reminds me of my beloved Classique Essence ‘Discontinued’. If you like Classique Essence you’ll love a Blush. I see it more as a daily wear since it doesn’t last long on me.

  • It’s the Catch Me by Cacharel modernooooo. I smelled it and thought: ‘I know this scent’. I got home sprayed it on my other arm and it’s the same but with added marshmallows. I bought it straight away! Let’s see how it develops I’ll update later. It’s very rich doesn’t seem like a natural. It could even be a signature scent it’s muuuuy lo más. I have both the metallic and the new version because I need a refill.

  • The first time I saw it I thought it would be a strong very floral fragrance but it turned out to be soft and floral. I detected a quite tender and intimate opening as if it’s only noticeable when standing very close to someone. It’s not overly sweet either in case that worries you; I think the floral notes stand out with great softness delicacy and tenderness on the skin. As for longevity I must say it doesn’t last long as a perfume does.
