I tried it today with great hope, but it smelled like Nenuco, like baby cologne. I thought the vanilla would come out more with time, but no; on my skin, only the citrus and ginger are noticeable. I loved La Belle this Christmas and was curious about this new one, but it has been a total disappointment.
Baby cologne. And that’s it. Total disappointment.
It smells like baby cologne, but an exquisite one; you can detect the apple, the vanilla, and that spark of ginger. For me, it’s a winner – simple notes but executed perfectly.
It is similar to Classique Cabaret, with that spicy touch from the ginger on the orange blossom. It has a slight sweet afternote, surely due to the ‘marshmallow’ note, though for me it remains at that: a faint background sweetness hardly noticeable. If you have the previous one, this is not worth it, as it lasts a little less. Still, it is good in performance.
Pin-up smells very similar to the classic Nenuco. It’s a fresh scent, with a citrus touch, ginger, lemon, and orange blossom. I don’t perceive the vanilla, perhaps it’s there and that softens the citrus a bit, but I don’t feel it as such. It seems very tender and cuddly, it smells like a baby. In my opinion, neither its bottle nor its name represents it.
Pin-up smells very similar to the classic teddy bear. It is a fresh scent with citrus, ginger, lemon, and orange blossom notes. I do not detect the vanilla, perhaps it is there and soothes the citrus slightly, but I do not feel it as such. It seems very tender and cuddly, smelling of a baby. In my opinion, neither the bottle nor the name represents it.
Very lovely 💖, ideal for springs, summers, and warm autumns. I appreciate that ginger and apple citrus, not the typical bergamot. I can feel the orange blossom, the sweetness of the vanilla, and the amber. The truth is, I don’t perceive the marshmallow note. On me, it has excellent longevity and medium to soft projection; I can smell it well for 5 to 6 hours.
Very delicious 💖. A perfume for springs, summers, and warm autumns. We appreciate that ginger and sour apple citrus note, not the typical bergamot. I really feel the orange blossom, the sweetness of the vanilla, and the amber. Honestly, I do not detect the marshmallow note. On me, it has excellent longevity and medium to soft projection; I perceive it very well for 5 to 6 hours.
I bought it almost blindly as a Classique fan; I saw the offer, loved the packaging, and took it home. It balances the sweetness of vanilla with lemon. Yes, it has a baby cologne air, but it lasts well and has that ‘something’ adults mention. It doesn’t remind me of a pin-up girl, but of a simple young woman who chooses flats over stilettos, looking for something for the workday without needing to reapply. It reminds me of beating dough for a vanilla sponge cake with lemon zest. A resounding yes.
I bought it almost blindly. As a fan of Classique, I saw a deal on this version, loved the packaging, and took it. It balances the sweetness of the vanilla with lemon. It has an air of baby cologne but with good longevity and a certain adult quality. I agree with other comments: I do not associate it with a pin-up girl, but rather with a young, simple female who chooses flats over stilettos (me, ha!), seeking a fragrance for the workday without needing to reapply. It reminds me of whipping batter for a vanilla sponge cake with lemon zest; a resounding yes.
I loved it. I perceive more ginger as the dominant note. It has almost the same scent as Dior’s Poison Girl Unexpected when dried down.
It is 4711 but with a touch of vanilla; it is only worth it for the bottle.
As I already owned Classique Cabaret, I decided to buy this one too. They are very similar; I would almost say one is unnecessary with the other. It is very pleasant, the orange blossom is always present, and it is sweet and elegant. It is neither relaxing nor annoying; it suits multiple occasions. I find it very versatile.
At first, it is a highly potent, warm, and citrusy orange blossom. After three minutes, it softens; it remains warm and citrusy, but the orange blossom blends with ginger and sour apple. The marshmallows and vanilla are not distinct; instead, they support the scent towards something very soft and subtle, like baby cologne or that Barbie doll from the 90s. Only the opening is intense; the rest is a very soft scent that makes you want to keep your nose close to your body to continue enjoying it.
It is very lovely and literally smells like baby perfume, but with better longevity and projection. Despite liking the scent and the packaging being absolutely stunning, I wouldn’t buy it. It makes no sense to spend so much money just to smell like baby cologne; it is better to buy the cologne and reapply it when necessary.
It’s very lovely, it literally smells like baby perfume, just with better longevity and projection. Despite liking the scent and the packaging being a million, I wouldn’t buy it. It makes no sense to spend so much money to smell like baby cologne. It’s preferable to buy the last one and reapply it as many times as necessary.
I had this tucked away and finally opened it today. At first, it smells like an aquatic cologne that reminded me of my mother braiding my hair when I was a little girl; I imagine it’s meadow hay. As it dries down, it becomes floral, musky, and slightly gourmand. I previously wore Devotion by D&G and noticed a similarity, though Devotion is super gourmand, sweet, and intense. In contrast, Pin-up is more versatile, fresh, and completely non-intrusive. I was pleasantly surprised: it was a blind buy and I confused it with the first flanker from the 90s. The longevity is average, the bottle is gorgeous, and the scent is delicate. I agree with those who say it smells like baby cologne, probably due to the vanilla and cotton candy notes.
