It gave me a headache because of how sweet it is.

At first, I thought it was very floral, but then I saw how it evolved: a fruity touch, floral, then marine and salty. The dry-down truly convinced me; what a delight and how elaborate. I don’t understand people who say it smells like eggs; it’s wonderful and addictive—I can’t stop smelling my wrist, and it has a spectacular trail. Quentin Bisch, you’re a genius.

Girls, sorry if it sounds odd, but one has to be as ordinary as a tripe canapé to say it smells like eggs. Honestly, I don’t know; ask Peretti to lend you their nose—how can a perfume smell like eggs? It might not be to everyone’s taste, yes, but smelling like eggs? Come on, half a dozen. It’s a rich perfume. I’m no longer surprised by fragrances after years of this, but this is a delight. It’s fresh, though I don’t wear it in summer, perhaps due to the meringue. It’s a sweet delicacy; that meringue is beautiful, the strawberry of the dessert, quite versatile. On rainy days, I wear ‘Desire’ by JLo, but I’m running low and it’s discontinued, so Divine will probably fill that gap too. The longevity is very good, perhaps up to eight hours; it’s not as expensive as others, so I think it’s fine. I’ll buy it again when I finish what I have.

On my skin, the scent was a disaster; I bought it solely based on reviews. It doesn’t smell of egg, but rather of a withered flower. I gave it to my mother, and on her it smells much more pleasant.

Eggy, but more tolerable than the Elixir since it lacks that weird sweetness.

As always with Jean Paul Gaultier: super feminine and gorgeous. I clearly detect the watermelon and lily, followed by that touch of meringue that makes it even more indulgent. The longevity and trail are above average.

It was a blind purchase and I regret it completely. The truth is, I noticed that ‘egg’ smell very quickly. If it’s too strong, personally I let myself be swayed by the reviews, and it definitely isn’t an aroma for me; you always have to smell them first before spending money.

Finally, I’ve found my signature perfume par excellence. After trying hundreds, this is the first one I like to wear every day. It’s sweet, floral, fruity, fresh, salty… all in just the right measure, with a perfect balance and a complexity that makes it sensual; super flattering, with a trail and projection that more expensive perfumes would envy. For me, Divine lives up to its name; it’s divine. Perfected in a bottle.

I was buying perfumes with a friend, and she tried this in the store and liked it a lot, so I bought it for her, but she puts on too many sprays. It’s so heavy and overwhelming that it gives me a headache; I think it’s very strong and it’s one of those perfumes where fewer sprays are better.

I don’t understand those who say it smells of ‘egg’. On the first application, it smells fruity; it made my mouth water. Then it becomes fresh and sweet; with just one spray, I felt it strongly for three hours, then it faded slowly… until the other day I could still smell it very close to my skin. The longevity is very good compared to three Muglers I tested at the same time… and those are long-lasting. It’s a perfect perfume for summer; it doesn’t overwhelm if you control it with one or two sprays (and in the long run, the bottle lasts longer). It’s an aura of freshness that pursues you… nothing of egg, fish, or seaweed. Nothing to do with it. I recommend trying it before buying. I certainly want it.

Strident, shouty, discordant… in short, a messy juice with no harmony. The opening is dazzling, with an almost unbearable acidity, dropping to a violent, thick floral, finishing with a briny blend that reminds me of a refrigerated egg carton that hasn’t been cleaned in centuries. It’s a resounding no, very scandalous; I don’t even think it’s original as it caters to current intense and dramatic tastes, which are completely out of step with mine. Anything positive? It has prominent longevity and trail, good work, as it spreads like a miasma for the immense pleasure of its wearers. On my part, I can only flee from this fragrance as far as possible; it’s not for me.

When it came out, I thought: ‘it’s one of the ones I like, different’. On paper, delicious, that salty meringue and aquatic touch, very rare for a designer. I almost bought it online, luckily I didn’t; on my skin it smells of fish with meringues 🤣. Yes, others love it, but I wouldn’t wear it. I love it, but he doesn’t love me. You must test before buying.

I wanted to give it a try but the dry-down smells of eggs, a fried egg with the yolk not cooked properly. No matter how ‘divine’ it’s advertised, there’s nothing else to say.

My favourite fragrance. Perfect for summer, lasts quite a while on my skin and lingers on clothes for days. They say it doesn’t suit many, but on me it smells exquisite. It’s peculiar but totally delicious.

I went to try it and felt a very refreshing opening, then it sweetens gradually, but on my skin I feel it’s very unisex (on paper it’s delicious but on my skin it transforms, becoming ‘sour’). I ordered a decant to keep testing and see how it goes.
