Nothing like modern perfumes; it’s super feminine and brings back memories of those florals from decades past, though I’m not sure which ones. If you’re a woman and you’re dying for something old-school, you’ll love it. Watch out, though; it seemed to have a touch of starch to me.

  • Of course it smells like marshmallow and neroli, that combination that’s very trendy. It’s sweet but fresh, with a powdery touch. At first it sounds a bit synthetic to me, but in the dry-down I adore it. It’s feminine and cheerful. I only have a decant, but I’ve already added it to my favourites because of the price and because it performs well, with a moderate trail that lasts about 8 hours on my skin. I don’t recommend buying it blindly, but I do recommend trying it, without a doubt.

  • It has that marshmallow/neroli scent that’s so trendy. It’s quite sweet but fresh, and slightly powdery. I find it synthetic at first, but I love it much more in the dry-down. It’s feminine and cheerful. I only have a decant but I’ve already added it to my wishlist; it has a reasonable price and good performance, with a moderate but noticeable trail that lasts about 8 hours on my skin. I don’t think you can buy it blindly, but I recommend trying it, without a doubt.

This is an extremely sweet and potent perfume. The marshmallow and praline notes almost overpower everything else, except for the cardamom which accompanies the sweetness. I understand it’s made in the UAE, but if you’re from Mexico or know the smell of pozole, it will sound strangely familiar (no joke), and once you notice it, there’s no going back. If you like sweetish scents, you might enjoy it as it’s uncommon. If it clashes with you, stay away because it’s very potent and the longevity is enviable.

It’s a sweet and potent bonbon. The marshmallow and praline almost dominate it, save for the cardamom which provides balance. Being from the UAE, they might not notice, but if you’re from Mexico or know pozole, it will sound familiar (no joke). Once you smell it, there’s no going back. If you like weird sweeties, it’s yours; if it clashes, run, because it smells strong and lasts forever.

Arabs continue to win on value for money: niche perfumes that don’t break the bank. Melodie is a pleasure for the nose; the sugary vanilla base makes me want to taste it, almost as if it were edible. Despite the sweetness, its opening is fresh with a green touch that gives it personality and an interesting evolution. Love at first spritz.

Arabs are leading the way in value for money. Beautiful accessible niche perfumes for tight budgets. Melodie is a delight for the nose; its base notes are heady because that sugary vanilla makes me want to lick it, and I can almost taste it. Despite the sweetness, I highlight its fresh, slightly green opening that gives it personality and an interesting evolution. Love at first spritz.

  • Updating my opinion: it has won me over. It lasts incredibly long on clothes and leaves a very pleasant sweet marshmallow scent with a light neroli touch. Projects well and has good longevity. The bottle is heavy, has a metal cap, and comes in an elegant box with tiny hinges. The scent is rich, although the opening is synthetic; the dry-down is, in my opinion, the best part. It definitely has something special.
